Once filled with great green chili they now stuff it full of rice to make it look big but only give you a little of the green chili. Lots of always tender chicken and you can ask for the spicy green salsa (I think it's avo NOT the tomatillo one) and it has good flavor and a real burn to it. I love Filiberto's. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, and the people are super nice. Today I dropped by the drive through and got a fish taco and a bean and bean burrito. The fish is deep fried with a crunchy batter you get two large pieces bigger than the corn tortilla with sliced cabbage and a yummy creamy sauce. It's my favorite. The bean and cheese was delicious as well on a large flour tortilla and they didn't skimp on the cheese. A couple months ago I tried a carnitas bowl which was really good too. I have tried so hard to give this location a shot every time it's a hot mess. It took me forever to clean all this food out of the bag and off of all of the containers. I've been to many locations and it was a shame to visit the one @ 635 E Wetmore. I got my order and went to the "open" sauce bar. I started to get some sauces and was approached by an employee who told me "ah sir, all of the sauces are already in the order". He was holding a broom in one hand like a soldier with a rifle at parade rest and his other hand pointing me away. I was so offended. I didn't feel like a customer, but rather like a beggar or a thief! I took my to go order and left. Later I felt so bad, I wanted to go back and correct him as a faithful customer. When I pulled up to the window , my chihuahua started barking as always. it's so irritating however, the guy working the window was so cool. He told me about his 4 dogs and shared pictures of them. I received two burnt nasty burritos and paid $30 for them! I'm amazed at the quality of product they are proud to push out of there windows. I live 15 minutes away or id drive back for a refund. That was the only solution given by the manager Stephanie I believe her name is. She said I would need to call back to talk to Oscar. Breakfast burritos are MONSTROUS and will satisfy the biggest appetites. They are also not stingy with the salsa. They always give you plenty of the little tubs to douse your burrito with. Not only are they huge, they are flavorful. The machaca with onions and peppers really melds well with the eggs and cheese they stuff into the tortilla the size of a manhole cover. Years ago you could score one of these for about $3-$4. Prices have gone up over the years but, considering the amount of food you get it's still a really great deal. All I have had is a breakfast burrito from here, but you can bet I will be exploring the rest of the menu... soon. read more
