This morning, he repeated the procedure and used phenol acid to permanently treat the section of the nail bed. I've had this procedure done in the past, and the other doctors did such a poor job that I was genuinely terrified to go through it again. Dr. Gunzy changed that. He gave me multiple options on how to move forward and explained everything thoroughly, including what went wrong in my previous experiences. He also understood that I have a lower pain tolerance and allowed the numbing medication to work longer before starting. I'm so grateful I trusted him. With the AMAZING help and persistence from Kristin Free (an administrator in billing and claims at Wheeler), and after 15 months of her and I working together, Cigna ended up paying the outstanding amount of nearly $700.00. And now I get a refund because of Kristin and I keeping excellent records and notes. I can't begin to thank Kristin enough for her diligence and hard work. Thank you!!

Not only did they prepare me for the future but mentally it has been a gift that no rehab center or Doctor could prepare for.
