The receptionist said you are next. 11:00 still not called but four patients that arrived after us were seen and already left. Went back to the desk and one nice patient sitting next to us that had a 9:45 appointment still hadn't been seen. The receptionist went to the back and then said the lady with the 9:45 then us will be called. It was 11:15. The MA asked what are you here for (rudely) and we said a consultation. She said the doctor does surgeries and you're not here for that? That was the last straw. We said just cancel this whole consultation and we'll go somewhere else. You don't want our business. The receptionist was hesitant about refunding our copay but we said we want to see the business manager. The receptionist then called the business manager on the phone and said they will refund the copay. They did later that day. I'm sure the doctors are fully qualified and do good work but the office is totally mishandled and inefficient. We highly recommend you go somewhere else for a more efficient and friendly office staff. Not happy with AZ Ortho at all.

I've had to use a knee/leg brace for many months after multiple surgeries for the past 12 years. My current brace was built specifically for me. Manjiro was so thorough in all aspects of fitting me for the brace and how to wear it correctly once it was delivered to the clinic. Manjiro told me to come back when I could find a pair of shoes to fit the foot portion of the brace. I promptly went to a shoe store, bought a pair of appropriate shoes, and went right back to the clinic to have him check the shoe and brace for a proper fit. Norma had no problems letting me come back to the office after I had been gone for about 40 minutes. She has always been so very understanding and kind when I've needed help. She made appointments for me with great care and kindness. She called me quickly when she found out about delays with the manufacturer for the prosthetic device. She also double-checked with me and my insurance company to make sure that I knew what my financial obligation, if any, was due from me. Manjiro and Norma have always been very professional and caring to me with my individual needs. I would highly recommend using this clinic for medical prosthetic care.

I was very disappointed after I paid $400 for orthotics. I only had them a little over six months…read moreand the toe section is already wearing very thin, thin enough that I could actually feel the threads that were sewn in the bottom of the shoe. When I went back and showed them asking why it wore out so fast, they said this was very typical and they could remake me new orthotics for $400 more or simply redo the toe part which would've been $200! I said this was totally unacceptable and that these orthotics should've lasted a lot longer. Chuck claimed that this is the material they use but clearly in my mind, it was poor quality to pay that much and have them wear out so quickly. Chuck finally offered to remake the toe part at no cost which I think he should've offered in the beginning. But I declined thinking that if the quality was this poor, I'm only going to have the same problem six months from now and then once again have to pay to have them remade. I have no intention of going back to this clinic, because I think they're more interested in making profits rather than helping their patients.

I was told $1,056.83 which after the cost of everything else due to injury and crappy insurance was A LOT for us. Yet, we bucked up and paid it. This was in March and this month (June) I receive a bill for another $162.72! So very disappointing. They should have known how much it would cost OR give me a heads up saying, you may get another bill depending on insurance adjustment. Honestly, I probably would have said I need to know EXACTLY what this will cost! To date I've used once. It is uncomfortable, yet I figured as much. Unfortunately it kept slipping, which of course it's not supposed to. It's now summer so I won't hike again until it cools off. I hope it will be worth the 1200 bucks. So disappointing. Ugh.

Snake oil salesman. Getting screwed hardcore on a bill. My wife was in an emergent situation at the…read morehospital. Doctor orders a back brace, guy shows up to fit it for my wife. He asks if we want it and we said only if insurance will cover it. He tells us it will. So we accept it. A month later we get a bill for $1,194.36. It wasn't covered by insurance. There was a $238.87 contractual adjustment. So the balance we owe is $955.49. I looked on several different websites and shock of shocks I can purchase the same back brace anywhere from $190-$250. Went to the Gilbert office and actually talked to the guy who gave us the brace. He claims the owner has told him that they don't bill patients in hospital emergent situations. They bill insurance and if they don't cover then they go after the hospital. I've called the billing department a few times and they tell me that they never bill hospitals. What ever insurance doesn't cover gets billed to the patients. Moral of the story is don't deal with this business, unless you have confirmation from your insurance company that you won't be billed 5X what the item is worth. I'm still trying to deal with this company, can't afford to pay this outrageous bill.

With the AMAZING help and persistence from Kristin Free (an administrator in billing and claims at Wheeler), and after 15 months of her and I working together, Cigna ended up paying the outstanding amount of nearly $700.00. And now I get a refund because of Kristin and I keeping excellent records and notes. I can't begin to thank Kristin enough for her diligence and hard work. Thank you!!

One of the best decisions I've ever made…read more The people at Mccleve were with me from the beginning , they told me what I can expect and what it's going to be like and that really impressed me, any time I had a question they had an answer. Not only did they prepare me for the future but mentally it has been a gift that no rehab center or Doctor could prepare for. I had a BK amputation of my left leg in February, as of today (6/9/2017) I finished my first week back to work. It wouldn't have been possible with the Mcclevee team.
