When I heard the word "reflexology" I immediately went to sitting on the edge of the exam table where a doctor lightly taps my kneecaps, causing them to involuntarily kick. But that's not what this is about. At all. Fika is setup much like a massage or wellness spa. Very quiet atmosphere, relaxing music, comfortable waiting area. When it's your appointment time, you will be taken back to the treatment area where you find that everything is dimly lit and very quiet, similar to when getting a massage. However, you don't undress and you're in a semi private space divided by light and airy curtains, not thick walls. However, I didn't feel awkward at all. My wife and I did the 60 minute couples' session which includes a foot soak, ear, hand and foot "treatment." It's not a regular massage, but intentional pressure to specific areas. It is relaxing and nice, but if you want a massage, you may be disappointed. I enjoyed the session, but left really craving my shoulders to be rubbed. I've heard lots of people say that reflexology treats their headaches, anxiety, etc. I'm not sure that I experienced any of that, but I did enjoy my session. read more

I was in town for a few days visiting and decided to treat myself with a little foot spa action! I've had them before at other places and loved them! The setting of FIKA is pretty nice and the front desk gal was super nice. I would say the treatment itself was just okay. The chairs are comfy but like a fake leather that your skin sticks too. My foot massage was great. Head, neck, and arms not so much. My hair and jewelry were in the way and when I asked if I should remove them the massage therapist made a weird comment that I can if I would be more comfortable but some people are worried about their items being stolen. The air conditioning was also on blast so I was freezing most of the time. They covered you in a warm blanket and the foot bath, foot massage, and warm towels on the legs was nice but not worth the $$ in my honest opinion. I also did the heel honey add on and it was forgotten. Again the front desk gal was so nice that she didn't charge me for it of course ran a sample out to my car afterwards but I would've loved to had it be part of my treatment! My daughter and I decided to give Fika a try just for fun and it was amazing! This is not just a foot massage, it is an experience. I dont know how else to explain this! From the moment you step in to the moment you are done, it is an experience. The woman at the desk that greets you is kind and professional. The waiting area has a little granola bar and iced lemon/lime water available for you. Our Reflexologists came and got us and took us back to our tables where we walked down the halls that had dimmed basket lights and soothing music playing. We put our feet in perfect warm water and thats the moment it becomes an experience! We got warm blankets, and a head massage and then our ears and then they move to the feet with amazing skill they rub each foot and then hot stones....I could go on and on, instead...just go experience this for yourself. Very relaxing! I went at 20 weeks pregnant and I had really bad sciatica pain. The masseuse said she'd work hard on the pressure points in my feet to help the sciatica pain and honestly I didn't feel any relief afterwards but that's not the reason I went in. I had my first apt today at Fika and I am so pleased with their service! I am 39 weeks pregnant and had a 60 min session (kinda hoping it would put me into labor) and it was so relaxing and they were very accommodating with me needing to be propped up and not lay flat on my back. The foot scrub and hot stone was so relaxing and the pressure was perfect. I've had a lot of swelling in my hands and feet during my third trimester and so the work she did on my joints in those areas felt so nice. I also loved the atmosphere, it's so pretty! Amazing experience. My coworkers and I decided we needed a retreat. We scheduled the 60 minute combo. The waiting room is decorated so cute. Little cups are available to out gummy bears or trail mix in them as well as lemon water and to enjoy before or after your appointment. The assistant explained that the back is a quiet room so there's minimal talking. The scalp massage was by far my favorite. Be sure to wear leggings and take off all of your jewelry (Including earrings). The bathrooms the cutest. They even have deodorant and dry shampoo. Be on time. Even early because they don't mess around. 60 minutes must means the time from our appointment because after all of the information was given and we were all there and our treatment wasn't 60 minutes. We were done and back at the hour. Maybe if we were earlier we would have gotten the full 60 minutes. Regardless it was relaxing and I'll for sure be going back. read more
