I came here last fall to get gels which went totally fantastic. I came back to get them removed and they pulled a aesthetician who was not familiar with how to remove gels. She shaved my nails down so thin and it was so incredibly painful. It is taking months for me to recover my nails and get my nail health all the way back. Upon leaving my first negative review which was a lot more lengthy and had a lot more detail. The owner reached out to me and convinced me to remove my first review because they are a small business and this would affect the health of their business. I have to wonder how many other people who left negative reviews were called and convinced to remove their negative reviews as well. And to the owner and whoever respond to these reviews, please do not contact me again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!'!! THIS SPA USED A SPEEEY SALES TACTIC THAT LED TO THE POLICE BEING INVOLVED I got a lash lift and tint, and upon finishing the service was handed an aftercare product. My tech Emily said "this will help keep your lashes nicer for longer". I checked out, added a tip and left. The next day I got a call from the cops saying the spa claimed I stole from them. In attempts to upsel me by HANDING ME a product and allowing me to walk out with it in hand, I have been accused of shoplifting. IN THE RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW THE OWNER CONFIRMED THIS WAS A FAILED UPSELL ATTEMPT. Her techs were supposed to hand me the product and add the charge to my account without clearly addressing it to me, but the tech forgot to charge me and is now claiming I stole. It's hysterical! Today, Peyton did my luminary nails, and she was incredibly kind, attentive, and communicative. Went here this past weekend with my fiancée as his birthday present to me. He had gotten us a couple's massage and a pedicure. The building is cute and the women's locker room was okay. When we had our massages the masseuses were kind and friendly. They didn't ask how much we wanted for pressure or even offered essential oils which made the experience feel less special. When we got our pedicures my fiancé had gotten a decent foot/leg massage. I didn't even get the calluses on my big toes touched and did not even have a foot/leg massage at all. For the close to $300 price tag I definitely expected more from here and for the simple fact it was rated "Best Of". I wouldn't recommend if you are celebrating anything. My wife and I booked a couple's massage at the Spa Lounge and enjoyed an hour of glorious relaxation. From the moment we walked in, we felt more calm and left behind the craziness that is the outside world. We were taken to the locker room where we were instructed to change into a robe and plastic slippers, then to go upstairs to the waiting area. We each had a York peppermint patty in the locker, along with the robe and slippers. It's little things like that piece of chocolate that add a nice touch to the experience-even though my wife tried to steal mine. The waiting area is dimly lit and has calm music playing. When it was our turn, our massage therapists came out to greet us and walk back to the treatment room. We briefly explained what we wanted to have worked on and then the therapists stepped out while we got onto our tables. Mine was heated (I'm not sure about my wife's-it probably was) and was very comfortable. The massage was very relaxing, although she spent a bit more time on areas that I didn't really specify needed attention and very little on the area that I did want worked on. Either way, it was relaxing and I would be happy to return-although I might request that the majority of the massage be focused on the problem area to avoid spending most of the time elsewhere. As we were changing back into our clothes in the locker room, we noticed a poster advertising a monthly membership for $64 that includes a massage and a discount on additional services. We are strongly considering signing up for that. I could do this once a month, easily! read more

We did a couple massage at the Draper location . This location is really nice & relaxing . We were taken back to the locker area to put on robes & slippers . They didn't explain how we use the lockers or that the lockers were assigned with our names on the front & robes & slippers inside . Once we figured out how to use the lockers we went upstairs to the massage rooms . The room was quiet & relaxing . The massage tables were warm & blankets were soft . We told our massage therapist the problem areas we wanted to focus on . It was a nice & relaxing 60 min massage . The only problem was they didn't address the problem areas that we needed help with other than that is was a nice massage . I would recommend this spa for a massage . They are very professional & massage is very relaxing . They have tea & water in a quiet area with candles you can relax in after your massage . read more

The pedicure was excellent, and the polish perfect. What an amazing experience. We've been going to the Spa Lounge in Draper & Murray, but once we received the email that Pleasant Grove Lounge opened,  we decided to try it and boy am I glad that I did. 1) it's closer to Saratoga  springs  2) it's  brand new and it smells new! Lol. 3) It is super clean. They just lack a couple of things, like a mirror and chairs inside their changing rooms. But I'm sure those will be added since they literally just opened.  4) best masseuse ! I had Ashley & my hubby got Jen and wow! I think that was my best massage ever since we started going to the spa lounge! If you have knots,  you're stressed,  you just want to relax.. well. This is the place for you! You won't regret it! The owners responses to the bad reviews on here lack class and are just one more reason why you should avoid this business. *Original review* I paid for an hours couples massage and we were late due to address confusion and location change and even called to let them know what the issue was. Despite this our massage was still cut short to 40 minutes and I was still charged the full amount. Don't worry their STELLAR customer service reached out to me so they could prove me wrong on the address and confusion with an "oh well not our fault" attitude after my previous review. What an inconsiderate move by the owners of this building! Horrible management tactics and please allow the spa lounge out of their contract to move to a more quiet location! We have gone to the spa lounge for a couple years and enjoyed it. Spa lounge: some options - reach out to skull candy, a park City company. Buy headphones and place them on your clients heads during massage. This will block out those next door and allow your clients to relax. - that's my only suggestion. The room was warm and inviting, Caitlin and Melissa listened to our complaints and then allowed us time to get comfy. In my decades of getting pedicures, this is the first pedicure that I have ever had where they did not remove dead skin/callouses. When I asked, they said they are not trained to do that. I also paid for an hour pedicure and it was 45 minutes. The tech was nice and the facility was clean, but this will be the first and last pedicure I get here. The massage chair was the highlight. Great story here. Bought my boyfriend a 60 minute massage for his birthday, expecting him to feel nice and relaxed afterwards. In the middle of the massage, the misuse steps out to audibly, violently vomit next door and then comes back in to finish the massage. The receptionist explicitly stated to my boyfriend she had a "stomach bug". So many things wrong here: 1) HUGE health violation to be working in such close quarters with a client when you have an infectious bug, 2) the little episode took away the from the 60 minute massage, 3) how AWKWARD and UNCOMFORTABLE to be the client listening to the misuse puke next door then come back in to be rubbed down by her?! Emailed the manager asking for a refund. Instead I was offered a $35 gift card-- half the amount of a first time massage expecting us to return after something like that. If you want customer service, don't go here. Make sure to ask your misuse if they're feeling okay before they start, too. Oh, and my boyfriend said the massage was mediocre at best. Please read about my experience before you chose to come here. It's a long one but it says a lot about the business. I went in to get my first ever lash lift & tint. During the appointment, Avi told me that she was shocked that TheSpaLounge hired her as no one else would. Which made me nervous but I blew it off when I probably should've left right then and there. When we finished I mentioned how my right eye looks a little different than my left, and she said it was that my right eye watered more and when it dries it will look great. I figured I'd call first thing the next day if it didn't end up looking better like she said it would. Throughout the night they kept curling inwards and feel more uncomfortable. The next day my lashes in both eyes look awful. They're clumpy, going different directions, itchy, digging into my eyelids, and heavy. Even my bottom lashes on my right side somehow got kinked. I called the next day asking for a manager. The front desk at both Draper & Murray had no idea when a manager would be in at either location which was frustrating as I wanted to get this issue resolved ASAP since the first 24 hours of the treatment are crucial in regards to its shape (based on the instruction sheet they gave me). So I sent an email as that was my only option to contact management. I wanted a full refund and someone else to see if they could reverse any of the damage done to me. What could have been a one time phone call took 2 days to resolve because of only using email to talk to me. The owner only gave me a 'refund' with a gift card and refused to put it on my credit card even when I stated I wouldn't want to come back. Because "As stated on the intake form everyone's results will vary and not guaranteed" and that they have a lot of "fantastic results" I'm believe my eyelashes itching and hurting is different than a result issue like wanting the color darker or something. And if you have so many good outcomes, it should be no issue to refund a customer to their card you had no issue taking money from, because it's rare with how many great results you give people. But guess not. I'll give my gift card to someone else or just buy some of the skin products I guess. I had to ask for a second time in the email if I could get any help with my lashes as they were causing me such discomfort, and they blew me off saying I could try a lash serum from them or get them redone in 4-6 weeks. As if I want anyone there to ever work on me again. I ended up cutting my eyelashes super short and that's helped with the digging but not the itching or the wonky directions. Plus bottom right lashes are still kinked. Please don't come here people, you deserve better treatment than what this business will give you. read more

AMAZING!! The staff were so sweet and helpful and they really are the experience. My husband and I went for a couples massage around a month or so ago and the two lady's that provided the massage were so wonderful. The spa was clean and organized. We booked online and they wrote our names on our lockers so we knew which ones they had prepared for us with sandals, a robe, and a mint. How cute and personal. The actual massage was magical I put on the paper I prefer a medium pressure but I realized I might prefer a harder pressure and my masseuse was so accommodating. They speak in such a relaxing way and are extremely welcoming and experienced. We are already planning another trip here, we loved it! read more

I wasn't very hopeful that I'd find availability, but I did, and I booked a 90 minute relaxation massage. Everyone at the facility was polite and professional. I received a call at 0944 saying that regardless of my illness, I would be charged with 50% of the total. I would not have enough time to even drive there at this point. I was told "wear a mask". Wow! I was very impressed with The Spa Lounge in Draper! To start, I really appreciated how easy it was to book online and make any changes I needed. Then, once I arrived the front desk staff was all very welcoming and the place was incredibly clean and really nice. Finally, my deep tissue massage with Shelley was one of the best I have ever had.
