That experience is the main reason we continued coming back, hoping to be matched with that therapist again. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was completely different. The therapist I received did not seem to be performing an actual massage so much as repeatedly rubbing up and down my body. At one point, she made one long stroke from my hip to my neck on the right side of my back, and I immediately felt a burning pain on the left side. I don't know exactly what happened, but it was painful and concerning, and it significantly impacted my experience. What concerns me even more are things I have learned about how this business is operated. I became aware of an employee who reportedly had documented medical conditions requiring frequent breaks. Even after providing a doctor's note, management was allegedly reluctant to accommodate those needs because breaks were said to "not fit the business model". As a business consultant, workplace culture and leadership matter to me. Based on feedback I have heard from customers and employees, I have concerns about management practices. I have heard reports of refund requests being denied even in situations involving the death of an immediate family member on the day of an appointment. I have also been told of employees being criticized by name in group chats that included additional participants. Based on my own experience and the concerns I have become aware of, I do not believe management prioritizes either customer satisfaction or employee well-being. The owner, Greg Lovato, left me with a very negative impression from the several negative reviews I have heard of this business. Greg, your sucky "management" style appears to undermine both customer loyalty and employee morale, two things that are essential for a successful business. No wonder your employees quit with no notice. Get some professional help. Hope you go kick rocks in bare feet.

I have had people rip my skin or tug too hard. I did not flinch once with her. She continuously checked on me even though I didn't move her Salon is super cute very clean no smell of wax in the warmers. Nothing. At the end of the wax session she gives you different clean up methods to use. And the final step was a cleanser to not get ingrown hair. I thought that was phenomenal. Wednesdays and Saturdays are her early and late days every other Saturday she's here super early. She starts at 8 AM. In my book that's a win-win because not everyone's available during regular business hours. So she goes above and beyond for her clients. I've been to the Wax Me Too in Draper and Downtown! What a great place for waxing. They are a waxing only salon which means they know what they are doing. I had a different estetician in each location but both were personable, knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable. I mean, getting a brazilian is not the easiest thing to do. One thing I liked best was when I was in Draper and said I needed to rebook downtown (near my work) the girl was very happy to book me with the downtown girl and told me I would have a great wax there too. I did. At each place I was asked if I was happy with my wax and if all the hair had been removed. I am not a picky person, but I appreciated that I was asked to make sure! I found one hair and she was happy to pluck it! Also, each esteticain told me the pros and cons of waxing and what to do and not do after the wax. LOVE THIS PLACE! Until a few years ago, I didn't even know that most women wax everything downstairs...if you know what I mean. But a girlfriend of mine told me that a brazilian is the way to go, and now that I've done it I couldn't agree more! I did my research online and made an appointment with Christie and she was WONDERFUL! I was super nervous not only because I was afraid of the pain to come, but also that I would be having someone else looking at my lady parts. She was SO PROFESSIONAL and made me feel super comfortable. She explained everything she was going to do, and didn't make me feel embarrassed. I have been using the most amazing Girl (shout out to Nikki) for helping me not only feel at ease but she is does an amazing job waxing. She has been doing Brazilian waxes on me for a few months now, and I love the experience. I mean lets be honest...who loves a brazilian wax...but she is so great. She is quick, thorough and it really never hurts. I would def recommend her to anyone out there who is wanting to get a brazilian wax to see Nikki. I know some people just get nervous abou this and worry it will not be a good experience! Trust me, Nikki does a great job at calming your anxieties away. I have been in American Fork the past 4 months on a work assignment and I go home Saturday. I went online and found Wax Me too. I wanted to suprise my Husband because I have been gone for so long! I am from Texas and let me tell you Jasper is a hoot I told her I have been all over Dallas getting waxed and I haven't had a better wax. She actually cared about plucking and getting every last hair even though I told her it was ok if a few were left. She flat out told me it was dumb to get waxed if she wasn't going to get all the hair! It's refreshing to see someone care about their job so much!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wax Me Too!!!! I can't say it enough! I LOVE Wax Me Too! I had been to several other places to be waxed and I never found the level of expertise that I have with Sally at WMT! In the past I had issues with bruising - I even had skin ripped off once by an esthetician from another place (that shall remain nameless)! Whether you are having your eyebrows waxed or a Brazilian like me, the level of care you will get is like no other. I will never go anywhere else again! ps. Yes, I drive from Bountiful ALL the way to downtown SLC to have my waxing done at Wax Me Too. They are the waxing queens as far as I am concerned. I get a brazillian wax once a month and will never go anywhere else. Why? Well, lets start with professional staff. I am always treated as if I were the most important customer in the world. Once my waxer was a few minutes behind schedule so she sent me a text to let me know. I appreciate that my time is valuable. The actual waxing is quick and professional. This place is absolutely the best. I've been waxed by two different estheticians --once in Salt Lake and the next time when I was on vacation in St. George. I got an excellent brazilian wax each time. The place is immaculate and the estheticans both friendly and very quick and efficient. I was impressed that each one used tweezers to get the one or two stray hairs AND I was relieved that I was never put into an "embarressing" position. The bumps became deep, painful, and recurrent enough that I eventually had to see a dermatologist and receive medical treatment. I had purchased a package for Brazilian waxes, but stopped using the remaining services because the ingrown hairs and irritation were progressively getting worse after each appointment. I contacted the location several months ago and was refunded for the unused portion of the package, but not for the services that ultimately left me dealing with a painful skin condition, medical expenses, discomfort, stress, and scarring. I followed proper aftercare, tried their recommended products, stopped shaving/waxing, and used multiple methods to try to resolve the issue, but the condition continued. I understand that folliculitis and ingrown hairs can be a known risk of waxing and that reactions vary from person to person. However, I wish I had been better informed about the potential severity and persistence of these complications, especially for people with sensitive skin or those prone to ingrown hairs. I'm sharing my experience so others can make informed decisions and monitor symptoms early if they begin experiencing similar issues. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
