Won't ever go anywhere else . I went to ET (i don't want to say the name but if you know you know) and it was a ABSOLUTE nightmare i was literally in tears and swore I'd never do it again. Mind you a full Brazilian wax is already a uncomfortable thing, but then i did some research and found wax me now and looked at all the providers to see who I'd prefer and i went with sally. I don't need to say it (the reviews she has already speak for herself) she's amazing. I could NOT believe the difference in pain compared to ET. I found my new forever waxer. Seriously if you've had a bad experience elsewhere i would HIGHLY recommend giving her a shot. I was in and out so fast & felt so comfortable. I have been a customer for a few years now and only stopped for a bit when Covid hit. My first experience as well as most of my waxes have been with Emma. When Emma isn't available, I have been to Barbara once and Kate twice. All experiences have been great and the conversations have been fun and lighthearted. Emma and Kate remember all the busyness of my life & I appreciate the care they put into their customers. I feel comfortable telling them if there was something that could have been better after I went home and felt around better than I did when I'm in the room afterwards. Even though this location is 20 minutes from where I live, I will keep coming here because of Emma & Kate. Their service and care is awesome; it's needed when you feel subconscious about someone all in your private areas! This is plus size friendly as I am a plus size woman and I never felt less than coming here. So appreciated and they don't even know. I just recently moved to SLC and decided to try this place based on the reviews. The girl that did my eyebrows was apparently new (something she didn't tell me until the very end!) and left my skin red and swollen. When I woke up the next day I could see where she had pulled skin off from going over the same area way too many times. I'll never recommend this place to anyone nor give them a second chance. It took weeks for the spots to heal while I walked around with ugly marks on my face. Two thumbs down for this place. EDIT: My specific appointment was on June 23rd, according to my credit card bill. While I appreciate management reaching out for a refund, it won't fix the scar left behind by an inexperienced employee. read more

I called to schedule an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed and they couldn't see me for two weeks. Finally on the day of my appointment I killed myself to get to my appointment on time - dropping my kids off early to school and rushing across town to be on time - only to find the studio locked up and dark. I called the number and the lady said "oh sorry the girl that you were scheduled with is out sick, you should've received a phone call?" Nope. No phone call. I made an appointment for 11:30am and I sat there waiting until 11:45am when I realized no one was there for my appointment. I tried to call and no one answered. I even confirmed my appointment the day before. I called around to find another place and Salty Lash and Brow is the place to go! They fit me in the schedule and they were amazing. I never leave yelp reviews, so that should tell you something. This was my second wax here, and it was free since they were training a new esthetician. It was PHENOMENAL. I've had a lot of Brazilians at a lot of different places, and wax me too is the best by far. The studio is cute and clean, the estheticians are super hygenic and professional, while also being friendly (because, come on, this is probably the most awkward form of beauty torture ever and it takes a special person to diffuse that sort of situation), and the waxes are always so well done. They take their time, but are fast enough that you don't feel like you have to set aside a huge chunk of your day, and they are really thorough with the aftercare, which is usually the part that is lacking at most salons. (Basically, I didn't drive home stuck together, and that's important.) Highly, highly recommend this place! read more

This is hands down the best place to get anything waxed. Whether you are a virgin waxer or a regular they treat you like a queen. I have the most sensitive skin and got a Brazilian, brows, and underarms for my wedding. I was so scared of the aftermath. I didn't have any skin irritation or problems after the waxes. Fantastic! Don't be thrown by the fact that a Brazilian wax should last longer than 15 minutes! If you know what you're doing, it shouldn't and I always go to Christie and she knows what she is doing! They even take the time to make sure that your first time, you both have an understanding of what exactly is going to be waxed and if you're a first time waxer, then they'll take the time to discuss it with you. First time ever having it done. I had my back waxed to see what it was like; it is not often men get waxed. Everyone said it was going to hurt a lot and they were wrong! There was some discomfort but it was not as bad as I was expecting. The technician also was really nice and made it enjoyable. We talked about TV shows and movies while I was getting my waxing done. I like how clean everything is here and the cold towel to ease inflammation but I've gone 2 or 3 times I can't remember. I was always booked with my last esthetician who I didn't like and who didn't of a FULL Brazilian like I had paid for. I have been getting waxes regularly since I was 15 years old (so for about ten years now), so I actually know a good wax when I experience it. And this place (and Joann specifically) is by FAR the best I have ever been to, and I have been waxed in many big cities (noticed the New York lady's comments). Their prices are extremely reasonable (especially for the Salt Lake area), their studio is always clean and professional looking, and they are very very thorough and are willing to work around a client's specific needs or desires. They make you very comfortable and are obviously experts at their craft. I have been a client here for going on two years now, and it is one of the few things I'll miss about Utah when I move.
