This is a nice place. The people are nice and the place is clean. The quality of work is good but I have had better. It would be nice if they talked to you now and then rather than each other the whole time. I had a pedicure which was adequate but I had asked to help with ingrown toenails which she didn't seem to understand nor do. read more

As a new customer, if you sign up on their website, you get a small discount on your first visit. You don't need an appointment, but they do schedule them if you'd like. I did a walk-in and was taken care of right away. Ann did my nails and it was ok. She was pleasant, although didn't chat with me-and that's fine. Sometimes it's nice to have a quiet visit. There is spa-like music playing and a peaceful environment, even though it was bustling with people. After I left, I noticed that there were a few spots where the polish was on my skin or missed a side of the nail altogether. Not horrible, but enough that I noticed. But overall it was fine and I appreciated their huge selection of colors to pick from. read more

My daughter and I visited there today to have pedicures. The girl at the counter that checked us in was very friendly. The salon itself looked very nice. We ordered the nu-skin pedicures. I would say the services up until the actual polishing of the nails was great. We got massaged with hot stones, scrubbed with the nu-skin, hot paraffin wax, etc. My tech proceeded to apply gel without asking if that's what I wanted (It cost an extra $15). I was engrossed in conversation with my daughter and didn't notice until my foot was under the UV light. In hindsight I'm glad I got gel and you'll see why soon. My daughter on the other hand got regular polish. 4 hours later the polish still wasn't dried and wiped right off! She had worn her flip flops that whole time and the polish should have definitely dried in that time. We were running errands and she's 9 months pregnant, so the last thing we wanted to do was go back and get it fixed. We don't know if all the lotions, oils weren't wiped off the nails properly before the polish was applied or if there were issues with the polish itself. SUPER DISAPPOINTED! Please beware of getting regular polish with your pedicure. read more

My mom and I hit up universal nails as new customers last week. We got deluxe spa pedis with gel French manicures and they turned out lovely. My tech was Thi, very very good and my mom's was Ann who was good but I thought Thi was really talented, probably the best French pedi I've ever gotten. If you sign up on their website they give you a 10% discount on your first service. The techs were professional, fast and our nails look great. Will be back for sure down the road for our next pedis again. read more

Ask for a dip and got a hybrid dip and gel. The gel is way too thick. I don't think the tech knew how to dip so he did this weird thing where he painted on the tip. I am not happy. It looks horrible. Will need to be redone. read more

Walked in wanting a brand new full gel set. It's clean, they are quick, have great service and are so amazing. I asked for neutral and Jo picked the perfect nude for my skin tone. I'm so very pleased. Service = 10. Quality = 10. Cleanliness = 10. Cost = Fair. Met Expectations = Above and Beyond. And then I got a pedicure..... my feet have died and gone to heaven. One of the best salons I've been to. Came from Salt Lake as this was one of the only salons open until 5pm on a Sunday. They accommodated my boyfriend and me for a last minute mani and pedi before a upcoming vacation. We were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. The employees here have SKILL and are proud of what they do. My hands looked identical to the inspo pic that I brought. My feet look and feeling amazing. My boyfriend enjoyed the massage chairs and tv channel. We never felt rushed. This is the happiest I've been with my nails. I will 100% be coming back regardless of the drive. I've waited to experience this place twice before leaving a review. Both times, very clean place. Very friendly service with good interactions. Pricing is good, and the quality was great both times. This last time we went with a group. They got us all in at the same time and were super accommodating to request like.. please cam you make the water super hot:) It's hard to fund a good place that you feel welcome and comfortable at while getting your nails done. I just moved to Daybreak from Atlanta and researched for a "manicure near me" on Maps. Universal Nails was the closest options, had great reviews also on Yelp so I gave it a shot. Just came here for the first time and WOW, They were amazing! Great staff and super friendly and very clean! I went to Universal Nails for the first time today for a pedicure and was really impressed. The store was clean, team was attentive, and the results were amazing. I had a negative reaction to the sugar scrub on my leg but they took really good care of me, applying cool cloths and aloe until it was resolved. They were able to remove significant calluses from my heels: my feet and toes look great. I will definitely be back! read more

This place is amazing! Amy gave me the best pedicure I have had in my whole life. Her massage is a work of art. Please do yourself a favor and buy the most expensive pedicure. It is 100% worth it. I went and got my nails done at universal nails today. Let me just tell you how impressed I am. Michael did a fantastic job and I was out of there after 30 mins. Fast and good... Not only was Michael nice but all the nails techs were nice. That's not common at your typical nail salon. I felt like they went above and beyond for me. This is a great place to get your nails done. I always get the dip powder and a manicure and they always do a great job. The people are very nice, they do great work and my nails usually last at least 4 weeks, which I like. I usually don't have to wait too long before signing in and having them start my nails. They have great selection of dip powders, gel polish and regular polish. I definitely recommend this place. read more

At the end of the wax session she gives you different clean up methods to use. And the final step was a cleanser to not get ingrown hair. I thought that was phenomenal. Wednesdays and Saturdays are her early and late days every other Saturday she's here super early. She starts at 8 AM. In my book that's a win-win because not everyone's available during regular business hours. So she goes above and beyond for her clients. I cannot wait to see her again in five weeksand I hope everyone gives her a try here in South Jordan.
