Dan is an extraordinary fitness professional whose knowledge, attention to details, and passion is unequivocally sublime. I'm 50 and with his guidance I'm able to be in the best shape of my life, doing weighted chin ups for the first time. Last but not least I am an atheist but when I train with Dan it is so painful that sometimes I see God. This definitely has been a spiritual journey for me. Thank you Dan from the bottom of my heart. read more

I am a type 2 diabetic with multiple injuries. Train with Dan has great two level, small gym environment which allows the trainers to focus on your workouts from anywhere in the gym. The app provides instruction on the workout and helps with your daily meal intake. All the trainers help with meal alternatives and nutrition. The workouts are difficult but appropriate to your level of fitness. The majority of the workouts you have done before but I quickly realized i was doing them wrong. My trainer Braedon explains every workout to me in detail and ensures I am performing the reps properly. The cost is also very reasonable. read more

As someone who has trained with a personal trainer on and off for the last 18 years, trust me when I say there is no one better than Dan!! I have been training with Dan now for almost 7 months and I have never seen so much progress and transformation in my body. Dan is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and truly a master of his craft. He takes the time to listen to your needs and your goals and adjusts as he needs to along the way for what works and what doesn't. I am incredibly picky with food and hate sticking to diets, and he met me where I was at, and found a way to make a diet work with the way I like to eat and the foods I prefer to eat. He also takes the time to understand your body and care for any injury you have. He is incredibly knowledgeable with the anatomy of the body and how to properly build the body you want. I feel so fortunate to have him as a trainer and I can't wait to keep improving my body and working towards my goals. He is always available to answer any questions you have. If you are looking for a new trainer, look no further because you have found your guy! He's simply the best! read more

I trained with Dan for about 3 months and honestly couldn't be happier with the experience. Not only did I gain strength, but my confidence in my form skyrocketed -- even some nagging lower back issues went away once he taught me proper technique. On top of that, I lost weight at a steady, healthy pace. He really tailors the workouts to you, correcting form and adjusting things as needed, and he even provides nutrition guidance with macros that actually work. He's motivating without being pushy, patient, and just genuinely a good guy to be around. Easy to book, always on time, and professional. Whether you're brand new to training or have experience and want to take it to the next level, I can't recommend him enough. Great trainer, great person, great results. read more

For as long as I have known Dan, he's always been passionate and dedicated to the art of fitness and aesthetics. No shortcuts or cutting corners. Just pure dedication and hard work. I know for a fact that he treats his clients with the same intentions and bringing the best out of them! I started a meal plan with him a few weeks ago and have already dropped 7 lbs off the bat. I fully trust that what he has put me on WILL get me to where I need to be. He consistently checks in and sees how the diets been working and how to possibly better it. If you guys are looking for a personal trainer/nutritionist/accountability coach, Dan is THE MAN to come to hands down. read more

I started with Dan in April, wanting to lose weight and get toned, its been about 10 weeks, and have lost about 10 lbs and seeing results. when I started i felt stuck at weight at 172, now I'm at 161!!! I am so happy with my results. after all my excuses, glad I made the decision to start. read more

Tired, depressed, uncomfortable and defeated were things I was experiencing before I started to train with Dan. At the beginning of this year, I hit rock bottom like never before, I literally felt that everything I loved I was no longer interested in. One being fitness. Fitness has always been at the very top of my list and for me not to have any interest in fitness anymore really concerned me because I know how much it means to me. After a few months went by this year (Jan-March), I continued noticing my motivation & discipline declining, in addition to all of this, I was experiencing severe lower back and neck pain. I was going to the chiropractor weekly and saw a physical therapist for a few weeks but the pain wasn't getting any better. At this point I knew something wasn't right with my body, I felt all kinds of muscle imbalances, which lead to pain throughout the day. I felt hopeless because PT and the Chiro did not help much. This is when I dropped my ego and made the smartest decision ever to hire a trainer. I swear I thought I knew it all.... Thankfully I found Dan! My first encounter with Dan was amazing, he asked me about my life style and my fitness goals. I explained to him that my ultimate goal is to be capable of squatting again and do dead lifts for the first time in my life. I had not squatted in a couple of years because of my lower back pain, and I never bothered doing deadlifts because I knew it would aggravate my back pain as well. He assured me that he can help me achieve my goals. It was great because he identified my needs right away, communicated solutions for my needs, and presented me with a detailed timeline of everything we were going to do during my time with him. SO I hired him! Training with Dan was life changing! I did not expect the results I have today with the short period of time that I trained with him (4 months). He taught me how to properly use workout equipment and follow workout plans & meals to target different areas of my body. He also measured my success and made adjustments as needed to ensure he satisfies all of my fitness goals. He made what I thought was impossible, possible. It makes me so dam happy to say that I am able to squat with no back pain, and that I can finally dead lift. Overall, I gained 4lbs of muscle and lost 2.2% body fat, all while maintaining my weight at around 160lbs. AMAZING! I am a much happier person all-around. Even my posture has changed to reflect more confidence (as others have said). I feel strong at all times throughout my day and determined to keep this fitness journey going on forever! All thanks to DAN. I can't thank him enough, I have no words, he is literally heaven on earth to me because of the help and guidance he provided. And this is only a short description of my time with him, there is so much more but I'd be here forever. Thank you DAN! read more

I purchased a meal plan from Dan 3 months back looking a blueprint for what a healthy days worth of meals would look like for someone in my current position looking to cut weight while at the some time putting on some muscle. Getting to the gym has never been an issue for me, my Achilles heel has always been my diet. I expected to get a meal plan that would take the guess work out of my nutrition; what I didn't expect was just how thorough and personalized my experience would be. Coach Dan really took the time to get to know what my short and long term goals are. He took the time to discover what works for ME. From what days I go to the gym to what time I go on my lunch break, he carefully curated a road map that has helped me reach my goals. On top of all of that, it is meals and snacks that I enjoy. For the first time, it doesn't feel like I am depriving myself of calories or taste for that matter. I genuinely enjoy the meals plans he creates and it is because he is so meticulous. He will take the time to understand what you like and dislike; he truly is making YOUR meal plan. He is always available to answer any questions I have regarding my plan and nutrition in general. Working with Coach Dan has increased my fitness knowledge, made me more aware of what what a balanced diet looks like and given me the confidence I needed to reach my goals. read more

Training with Dan has been amazing with the results I've been getting. He helps you out a lot with the work outs and food. He listens to you and when your hurt he tries to see what you can do and not do while working out then when he sees your doing better he tries to put workouts that you might've not been doing in a while and He tells you if you feel comfortable or if it still hurts and when you think you can't add more weight he puts a little to build up the confidence in you that you can do it. He explains the workouts very well and he helps you to do it correctly. This has been the only trainer that I feel comfortable with and I can't wait to continue training with Dan. read more

I've been training with Dan for about 6 months now. He provides the amount of calories I should be in taking as well as the work out program. Depending on your goals, he will work with you to achieve them. For instance, when I first started I was unable to do any chin ups and now I can do four and we're still working on more. Even though my weight on the scale has not changed much, my body fat percentage has gone down and my muscle has increased. There is a definite change in my physical appearance. The best part is that I did not have to eat 1200 calories or less to achieve this. Dan is always making sure my form is correct when doing my exercises. He also makes sure to point out other improvements like increase in strength and better energy levels so we're not only looking at numbers on a scale. He's not the type of trainer that turns into a rep counter and truly cares about your well being. read more

I found Dan at one of the lowest points in my life and after one call with him I knew hiring him as my trainer was going to be life changing for me. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable in this field, he is also so encouraging during the process. I've been working with him for 3 months now, lost over 10 lbs and have gained SO much muscle & confidence! I'm now more motivated than ever to keep going. I have Dan to thank for my new body, confidence and knowledge in the fitness world. Hiring him was the best thing I've ever done for myself. read more

I have gone through a lot of trainers who encouraged ego lifting and ignored my complaints of pain/discomfort. Dan has shown me the complete opposite. When I started training with Dan he was detail oriented from the start. Building a strong foundation to prevent any injuries further on.[Especially for my squats, who knew I had bad ankle mobility!] I walked in mentally preparing to trust the process and stick to the program; and with his support and clear information I was able to start seeing results 3 months in. He is very knowledgeable and humble. Always looking for ways to tailor the training to your goals! 11/10 recommend read more

Dan has been a crucial part in finally changing my life. After having my 3rd baby, I was left feeling less than satisfied and a little lost. At first, I wasn't sure a male trainer could understand my struggles. Dan, made me feel empowered and helped me find my motivation! I feel and look better than before my kids. The confidence, I have gained, has trickled into other parts of my life too! Dan is incredibly knowledgeable, and able to break everything down to understandable concepts . He helped me understand what I needed to do, why I need to do it and how to stick to it. Diet was a big struggle and he helped point me in the right direction for what to eat and how to make it ENJOYABLE!!! That alone made it so much easier for me to stick to my eating goals. You can't put a price on the guidance Dan provides with workouts. He put together killer routines, that got me shredded!! The workouts were designed to challenge me, but also work with my busy schedule, and an old injury. Even at a distance, he was able to help correct my form, and provide great coaching on my intensity, and reaching my goals. Dan, always had great feedback on our weekly check ins. He was always quick at getting back to me with answers for my many questions. I know there are lots of trainers available these days but the quality, that Dan provides is unmatched. There is a reason he's got so many clients reaching new limits and setting new goals. If you are ready for a change, you are ready for Dan!! read more

Passionate. Dedicated. Friendly. These are just few words to describe Dan as I get to know him as my trainer. One can definitely see his passion for fitness. He will create a workout and a meal plan to meet your goals. No intense cardio and a meal plan that is easy to follow with your lifestyle. Also, he himself is fit and practices what he preach which I believe is fundamental to a trainer. His dedication to fitness is superb. He considers his client's achievement as his success as well. One time, after measuring our progress, I got the most muscle gain and fat loss. I can still remember his reaction. He acted more triumphant than me which I think is cool! Haha Whether you are outgoing or on the reserved side, Dan will work with you to make the workout enjoyable. He would make small conversation and try to get to know you more. Imagine working out with a friend but you'll see awesome results! Glad that I started working out with him. I look forward to the gains we'll achieve further in the coming months! read more

I am an online client out of the east coast, Boston area. I started with Danny only 4 weeks ago! I have lost 6 lbs, I'm feeling leaner and much stronger. He is professional, knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions or concerns. It is very apparent that he takes the time to create a nutrition plan and workout routine that works for achieving my individual goal. He checks in frequently to make sure I'm staying on track or to ask if I am struggling with any part of the program. That type of accountability helps me a lot. He is patient, I can't tell you how many times he has told me to "trust the process"! I am and I am extremely happy with the program and the results.. obviously . I can understand why having an online coach can be hard as there isn't someone there physically telling what to do. His frequent checkins makes you want to stay on track. I know it's coming and I want to be able to answer truthfully that it's going great. Or I know that I can tell him if there is an issue and he will help me. Here is a side by side of day one v 4weeks in. Thanks coach!!!! read more

I have been training with Dan for about a month now and all I can say is that it's been the best decision I have made in regard to my fitness journey! I used to go to the gym feeling completely lost and overwhelmed since I had very limited knowledge on which exercises would help me reach my fitness goals. Dan has been such a great mentor by sharing his knowledge and helping me create a workout routine that works best for me. He perfectly explains the proper form of each exercise as well as what muscle(s) will be targeted. He has also helped me overcome the fear of adding more weight to an exercise and now I'm hitting personal records in a short time span. I have felt and seen an improvement in myself these past few weeks that I have worked alongside with Dan. I highly recommend to hire Dan to help you with your fitness journey! read more

I found Dan through searching on instagram for a trainer at Self Made Training Facility. After reviewing everyone's IG pages, I made the decision to reach out to Dan for two initial reasons: he seemed legit about his work and I felt I would feel comfortable with him. This was my first time ever attending the gym and my goal was to gain confidence and learn correct forms. Since day one, Dan gave it his all. He was always available to answer questions through texts regarding meals and workouts. He's a very respectful trainer, as well. He encourages you to go beyond what you think you "can't" do but does NOT force you. He really is THERE for ALL HIS clients. I think that's why people appreciate his work ethic. He continues to be passionate and legit, and I do not think that will ever change because he's meant for greatness. read more

I've been training with Dan for over a year now and had an extremely positive experience. I am 52 years old and have had little time or discipline for training for most of my life. Dan took the time to understand my goals (functional training) and produce a plan that would accomplish my goals and not injure myself in the process. From the beginning Dan took the time to coach me through the exercises focusing on form first. I've never worried about hurting myself during the training because I know Dan always has my back (pun intended). I would recommend him to anyone looking to build a better self. After a year of working to get in better shape, I'm now adding in better nutrition, and I find that Dan has deep knowledge there as well. He knows that I can't (or won't) eat like a body builder or stick to a strict diet, so he is working with me to build a nutrition plan that will work for life. Long term, sustainable progress is what we are working on and Dan has provided options for me along the way that are proving value. Simple swaps that help my progress without depressing me with a "diet". Fitness a marathon not a sprint, and I am lucky to have Dan in my corner as a coach. Highly recommended. read more

Dan is an AMAZING trainer! I had been working out about 3 years until 2019 when I had a crazy year and got in a car accident in which I hurt my back, my year in the gym was done. In 2020 I started to slowly work out again and in 2021 I decided I needed help getting back where I was and I decided after seeing all his YouTube vids to try Dan. I really loved that he followed programs from the silver era of bodybuilding and boy was I shocked the results what took my over a year on my own of learning trail and error, took me only 3 months with his help!! He is an very honest and caring coach, now again this year I've been filling his advice for over 3 months and I have never felt so solid and developing the shape I want. He also is excellent at teaching how to eat normal and still make progress! He is way above average and he will always be willing to answer your question he just cares which is rare. Please to all thinking give him a try you won't regret it! read more

I had an overall amazing experience with Dan. To begin, I was very skeptical to start this journey with him as I had terrible experiences with others trainers in the past, but I came across Dan's Instagram page and saw that his clients had achieved great results in short periods of time so I decided to give it a shot. Dan took the time to have a consultation with me prior to beginning our training together during which we discussed my goals, health issues, and did an assessment with some basic exercises. He also sent me a survey to fill out indicating any foods I did not like, which I really appreciated because I am a very picky eater. Dan promptly changed my meal plan whenever I became tired of certain foods and did his best to fit in any particular foods I requested which was really nice as well. Dan is a great, patient teacher and he will most definitely help with your form. Prior to training with him, I would have never felt comfortable stepping foot in a gym alone but now I feel comfortable and confident enough to not only go on my own but to enjoy my work outs as well. I have learned so much from Dan and I am so happy and thankful that I invested in myself and trained with him. Dan truly cares about his clients and loves the work he does, which shows in his results. I highly recommend Dan to anyone looking for a trainer in the Orange County area. read more

I hesitated a lot about investing in a personal trainer as I had been working out on my own for about a year and never really saw a difference in my body. I decided to join Daniel for a free session which was very structured, workout was intense but he assured me as time went by it would only get easier. I was still hesitant but decided to give it a try however, I had no high expectations. I knew it would take a long time for me to notice a difference in my body and see a real transformation. I WAS WRONG! I've only been training for 3 months and I can honestly say this is the most confident I've ever felt with my body. Where do I even begin? I have been training for about 3yrs now. I left myself go during the pandemic and just gained a lot of body fat and lost my muscle. I have been through a handful of trainers in my life and they've been "ehh". I found Daniel on Instagram and contacted him for an evaluation. Since our first session I knew he was my guy! Started training with Dan back in October of 2021. We did a 3 month program that focused on my personal goals. I had very minimal training experience and knowledge around the gym. That all changed within the first couple of weeks and months to come. I went from being sacred to properly knowing how to lift and execute certain movements. He is a real professional not like these other so-called trainers. He actually teaches and demonstrates which helped me tremendously. He is there by your side and observes your body and collects information to further help you. He provides you with everything you need to take your body to the next level. I was so pleased with him and my results I went ahead and purchased a workout plan from him to do on my own. I plan on going back with Dan as soon as my schedule clears up. The last 9 months I've spent training with Daniel and since day 1, I have enjoyed every moment of the process. I decided to reach out to Daniel for a few different reasons but the main one being that he has shown immense passion and commitment towards helping his clients grow. I have also known Daniel for years and even remember when he was just as skinny as me. So having the chance to watch him grow and develop has shown me just how dedicated he is. When we first started out training, Daniel took the time to not only hear out my concerns but also took the time to understand my personal goals. One thing I greatly appreciated from my experience with Daniel is that he never approached training as a "one size fits all" mentality. Instead, he designed a program that was specific to my goals and explained how each exercise played its role in helping me achieving those goals. read more

I had been working out independently and wouldn't see much results and that's when I decided to reach out to Daniel. When I started training with Daniel I instantly saw results. His efforts in ensuring that I attended all my sessions and ensuring I was following the meal plans that he had custom to my liking showed me the genuine interest in my transformation. Thanks to Daniel my self confidence has gone up and I look forward to continue my fitness journey with him soon. read more

I came into this not knowing anything about fitness, proper form or technique. I knew only the very basics of the diet requirements to gain or lose weight. Daniel had been recommended to me by my husband and I finally decided to reach out to him after realizing that at home work outs were not cutting it. I didn't feel comfortable working out at the gym on my own and thought a personal trainer would help. I am so happy that I reached out to Daniel. I have seen so many improvements since I started with him. My initial goals were to improve my health, physique, and strength. And oh boy, have those goals have definitely been achieved! I was very afraid to go heavy when working out my upper body. I didn't have a lot of upper body strength and knew it would be a challenge. Having Dan there to encourage and guide me made an incredible difference. I'm lifting weights I never expected to be lifting and hitting new PRs every week. I noticed small changes in my body at first but they were enough to make me feel great about myself and keep me going. I look and feel amazing, and I look forward to going to the gym every week. I have learned a lot about myself and my limitations, but the best part is that I learned discipline and consistency. That's really what's made the biggest difference in all this. If Dan says I can do it, I know I can do it. He shows genuine happiness and passion in his work. He truly wants to see you succeed, you just have to want it too. I tell everybody I know about him. Working with Daniel is the best investment I've ever made. read more

Before Dan, I was with a previous trainer whose priority was just to get me exhausted, essentially a cash grab. When looking for someone new, I knew Dan was the guy because of his in-depth knowledge, and his motivation to learn more to better serve his clients. In my 6 months of training, I not only saw improvement physically but also growth in my mental health. I think something any client of his would say is that he truly makes sure he's a friend before a trainer and that the skills you build with him are lifelong. Building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills needed to be on my own was important, and he always made sure that was always a focus of our workouts. His ability to listen to your specific needs to truly deliver a unique workout/meal plan is one in a few. The gym in which he trains is well kept, and he himself will at times make sure your equipment is clean or that you have the needed supplies. If there's a gym gadget or tool Dan has got you covered, there's never a moment where there is a lack of equipment or a workout you can't do on a busy day. Though I continue my fitness journey alone currently, I would recommend Dan to anyone wanting to start or take their fitness journey to the next level. read more

Never worked with a personal trainer before and it took just a 10 minute conversation about my goals and Daniel had a great plan in mind to achieve them. He let me know it wouldn't be easy and let me tell you the workouts are intense but his client's results speak for themselves. Daniel will never give up on you as long as you never give up on yourself. Makes himself available to you every step of the way for any questions or concerns anyone may have. He always wants others to succeed in life and will guide you through the process to get you where you wanna be. Working with Daniel has been a true pleasure and I couldn't be more proud of the life changes he pushed me to accomplish. read more

I have been working out with Dani for almost 4 months now. And all I can say is the man is very passionate of the work he does. He is very enthusiastic when it comes to training and pushes you to the next level. I had been working out on my own for a while and wasn't seeing much results. So when I got to work with Dani. It's was something new to me and he was my first personal trainer experience and from what I have experienced so far it's has been an honor and overall fun experience. He is the gym partner that I wish I always had because he pushes you passed your comfort zone. He teaches you proper form and a verity of exercise that were completely new to me. And takes time to walk you set by set when it comes to new exercises. He gave me a solid diet that was easy to follow and his workouts focus on my goals that I had told him I wanted to reach. He helped bring down my brought down my body fat and gain muscle at the same time. He has made me stronger as a person and has expanded my knowledge when it comes to lifting and dieting. I've been overweight for most of my life. I decided to make a change 6 months ago. I started my own thing at the gym but once they closed down again due to covid I knew I wanted to keep going. My coworker had been training with Daniel and I inquired about him. After seeing him on Instagram and seeing his clients transform, I knew wanted to start up ASAP. In December I started at 336. With a meal plan and workouts aimed at my weigh loss. I was able to obtain results. Since day one he always told me " Trust the process". I believed in him and with his help I was able to reach a goal of mine. A goal that I've been wanting to reach for a very long time. He is always a text away answering all my questions I had. He modified my meal plan through out my 3 months and made sure I was eating what I had to eat. He was always checking up on me to make sure I was good with my workout after and also if my meal plan needed adjusting. My last weigh in with Daniel on my first 3 month program was 299. I'm ready to break and crush my new goals with the assistance of Daniel. He's very encouraging during our workouts. Always looking out for me to see if anything is wrong. It's only going to get tougher from here but I welcome the challenge. read more

That did not happen!!!! the first workout i was so nervous because i was so out of shape and have never lifted anything before, but dan has such a positive mindset and energy, and makes you feel so comfortable and like family since the first day i started training. i stuck to the meal plans and workout with dan 3 times a week, never thought i would end up loving lifting weights and even now going to the gym on my own and feeling confident using all the equipment. i've lost the weight and have kept it o7 months later and i'm still training with dan! he's an amazing trainer and person! thank you read more
