After my consultation, I scheduled an appointment and went in for a much-needed cut, wash, and style--but not just any cut. I decided to do a "big chop," which for those of us with natural hair means letting go of the majority of your hair. It's a big step, and it requires a lot of trust. From the moment I sat in her chair, her professionalism and genuine care immediately put me at ease. Her attention to detail, made the entire experience wonderful. She listened, she understood, and she respected how important this decision was for me. Because of that, I felt comfortable taking the risk--and I'm glad I did. I left feeling refreshed, confident, and truly taken care of. If you're looking for someone who not only knows exactly what she's doing but also honors the personal side of hair care, I highly recommend Ms. Yvette at The Promise Hair Studio.
