Didn't expect those shells you grab off a grocery store shelf and ground beef. Shredded steak w/ fried shells are a million times better

Work like 5 minutes away so thought I'd try this place. Got these beef tacos (yea I don't like toppings) and also chicken tacos. Chicken tacos were good, and while the beef tacos were decent. I definitely expected something better then what Taco Bell serves which is pre-made shells. Beef itself had good flavor but even just a few minutes driving and the meat was always lukewarm which was a huge disappointment. I personally won't go back, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have other food on the large menu that taste great

We love fiesta! My Fiance and I always come here for a chill dinner. Service and food never disappoint. Neither do the margaritas my favorite dish is the Martin special but we love to switch it up! Their menu is huge and these birria tacos are so amazing I think about them often.

There is no meat on the tacos and small portions. This place has really went down hill. Just skip, awful.

Oh man, where have I been?! The first time I dined at Fiesta Ranchera was in my high school days. Just had it again nearly 20 years later. How can I have overlooked this South side gem for so long?! On a little strip mall located SW Indy lies this delicious eatery. Inside is a nice, clean modern style layout with some dashes of art. The images of hispanic men in traditional outfits on horseback are nice standouts. The booths have a classy, dark brown color with comfy back padding. My server was very sweet and enthusiastic, and the other staff was very upbeat as well. I noticed very friendly interactions with other customers, likely regulars. A couple times I heard a staff person singing loud & proud in Spanish from the kitchen or nearby! The fajita chicken burrito was my selection last night. A great, zesty blend of tender, well seasoned chicken with grilled peppers and onions, wrapped in a soft shell topped with queso sauce. Half was consumed, and I look forward to finishing the leftovers later today! Haha! One small complaint is the menu layout. It seems to have a wide array of selections. But most items are noted on a long list that feels cluttered and a bit hard to read. Although the menu could perhaps be more organized, a delicious meal and outstanding service far outweigh this little setback. An excellent Mexican restaurant very well worth a visit!

I love this place so much! Such a classic go to Mexican restaurant. We used to go there weekly when we lived in south Indy and still stop by when I can! The service is impeccably fast and they get to know your order after a while. The queso is delicious and we love their chicken fajitas. My husband and I can share a single order of chicken fajitas, we just order an extra set of tortillas. Love their rice!!! The restaurant is clean and not too crowded in. There is an area with a bar in one of the rooms too.

The waiter had an attitude the whole time, even rolling his eyes and grunting. The Fajitas & steak tacos were lacking meat tremendously and flourshells were hard. The birria tacos were made with old cornshell, nasty & soggy. I didn't even say anything while at the restaurant, was already uncomfortable with how my table was treated

We were seated in their outdoor area where the heaters were not turned on and the day had been rainy and cold so most of the table was cold throughout our meal. The service was a bit slow but it being cinco de mayo, we understood that things may move a little slower than any other day. They had some specials for the day but I got my old faithful, Maria's Enchiladas with steak. It comes with rice and beans and it's just so so soooo good!!! I also got the Arroyo Margarita which was good but def could tell they were adding a bit more sour mix to the drink. Overall, it was a good experience but I will try to come back again on a day that is not as busy.

Even with the rush, I was able to snag a seat quite quickly. I was so impressed by how efficiently the staff cleared and prepared my table; it's those little touches of attentiveness that really make a difference. I decided to keep things classic and ordered the Asada Tacos. The service was remarkably swift my order arrived in under ten minutes, which is exactly the kind of efficiency I adore. While the initial presentation was a bit more understated than I anticipated, the flavor was a total 8/10 triumph! The staff was also incredibly accommodating when it came to my preferences; they brought over a lovely selection of chips and sauces, but were perfectly gracious when I mentioned I prefer to avoid the heat. These are truly some of the best tacos I've had the pleasure of trying lately. I will most certainly be a regular here!

You have to buy a basket of chips, but it's very inexpensive and so worth it for the salsa bar! Lastly, the Al pastor is the bomb. The inside is really nice, the owners are so gracious and remember us when we come back each time. Don't sleep on this place--it's perfect for a weekday dinner or a weekend date night!

The restaurant is sleek and has a cool vibe, but we immediately realized it was not going to be what we thought of when we saw "street tacos" mentioned during Google search. It's more of a metropolitan American Soul fusion place, with a heavy emphasis on loaded, uniquely flavored tacos instead of traditional Mexicana. The server was wonderful in explaining their menu and gave multiple recommendations, which I went with all of her great suggestions once I told her what I was craving. My husband didn't enjoy his appetizer, saying it tasted too sweet instead of savory for him, but the server was great at being aware of our plates and took the appetizer off our bill when she noticed he wasn't eating it without us even mentioning it. I got three different tacos, and the only one I didn't enjoy was due to the Mac n cheese that was stuffed in it. It just didn't taste or feel right having a taco with macaroni that was pushed in so densely that it became a sponge. The other two were great! My husband gave his burrito a 3/5, as he felt it was too much one note. Overall, don't come here if you're looking for upscale Mexicana, but instead want to enjoy interesting fusion flavors and fun cocktails. Great place for a group outing or celebration!

Driving through…read morehere, you see the blight and the abandonment of this area of Indianapolis since the decline of manufacturing. Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10.
