Ever since his first visit to my home, I trusted Sam's expertise and taste and knew that he would do the best job for my windows. I didn't know exactly what I wanted for my window coverings, but he provided me the best recommendations that I am very happy that I ended-up going with. I really appreciated that Sam had a strong eye for what would look good in my house. I got roller blinds done for my kitchen counters, sliding panel tracks for my patio sliding door, blackout honeycomb shades behind my existing bedroom shutters, and new shutters for my remaining bedrooms. The window coverings look amazing. I included photos in my review, but it looks even better in person. Even my father, who is not impressed by anything, kept making comments about how nice it looks. I did get some lower quotes from other window covering providers, but I found my experience with Sam and Kara Window Coverings to be very much worth it, with much higher quality products than other providers. I appreciated how detailed Sam was in making the measurements, and he kept me updated every step of the way as the order was put in and shutters were being built. I also found his installer, Fred, to be very competent and pleasant to work with. There were a few things that happened after installation that made me respect Sam and his team even more. In one of the kitchen roller blinds, there was a tiny hole in it that bothered me, and Sam immediately replaced ordered new blinds and had Fred re-install them. A few months after install, the sliding panel track handle fell off, and within less than a day, Fred came over to fix it. Kara Window Coverings almost exclusively has 5 star reviews, and it is well-deserved. If you want your house to look amazing and have a great service experience, go with Kara Window Coverings.

On another project my timeline was slowed down considerably by my contractor, and Sam stored the products I had ordered from him for a couple of years without a peep of discontent. When a shade needed a minor adjustment years after installation Sam didn't hesitate to come back to my home himself and make the adjustment without charge, even though I offered to pay him for his time. Custom Blind & Carpet called me the next day and said they'd spoke with the rep and the rep agreed to drive out the box itself. So no freight fee. I was also in a major time crunch to get this box ASAP as we were installing new closet within 2 weeks. Somehow they were able to get the floors in store literally the next day. We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We first worked with Rick 6+ years ago when we moved into our home. He installed shutters in our bedrooms and office, and they've held up beautifully.
