The situation I was in at the time, in short, was that I hired a contractor who promised me the world, started working without permits, removed a few load bearing walls without engineered plans, took some money, and a short while after demolition left and never came back. My entire first floor was a disaster zone. I needed a contractor asap, but no one wanted to deal with something like that, the ones I interviewed either refused or gave me insane quotes. Kobe was working on my building plans at that time and recommended I meet with a contractor he knows. He connected between Eran and I and we met a couple of days later. Both Eran and Liran came to our meeting, they spent over two hours listening to me, asking questions, taking photos, writing notes and providing me with good suggestions. Not even once that I felt like they're not interested with the job. A few days later I received the most organized and detailed quote I've seen, everything was in there in writing and easy to understand. The quoted price was fair and within the range I always had in mind. I hired them for the job and I'm very grateful that I did. They brought all of their energies into this project, they assisted me with interior design, cabinetry, tiles, shopping for finishes, everything that I needed help with. They brought wonderful sub contactor's, that did a great job from the ground up, and managed them to perfection. In a matter of days I couldn't even see a bit of the mess the previous contractor left. The crown jewel was that not only they did a great job but they also finished ahead of time and on budget. I honestly can't be more happy with the whole process and I feel like I won the contractor lottery on my second try.

I just finished a THREE YEAR subdivision with the city of L.A. (a whole other story of red tape and…read moreincompetence). Along the way I was contacted by MANY real estate agents to represent my property for sale. One day I received a call from Andy Tobar of Luxury Collective (a division of KW) who impressed me with his sincerity and commitment to selling the property within three months. We signed a contract for three months beginning on December 31st, 2025 and ending on March 31st, 2026. I waited 10 days to see the listing (there was none) on the MLS for which real estate agents are LEGALLY responsible for establishing within 24 hours of the contract signing. On January 9th after I sent both Andy and Steve Julian an email asking what happened to the MLS listing I received a zoom call from Steve all apologies and claiming some sort of "glitch" in the "system". He assured me they were on top of it and went so far as to say he was going to do some additional marketing vis a vis more drone photos, etc. During the listing he received two inquiries (one of which was a lead I forwarded to him) but the interest shortly fell out. Within the first two weeks I received weekly updates from an office assistant telling me how many views the MLS had received as well as actual inquiries. After two weeks there were no more updates and all I heard was crickets. On February 28th I sent Andy and Steve another email expressing my dissatisfaction with their efforts (or lack thereof) and told them they had 30 days to get some traction and that based on their performance so far I was not going to re-up with them for another three months. No response On March 15th I wrote to both that they only had fifteen days left on the contract, that their lack of response to my previous email told me everything I needed to know: their lack of professionalism and unseriousness in selling my property. I further stated they obviously they didn't have a rolodex of developers and apparently their only efforts on my listing were solely through the MLS. The next day I received a response from Steve apologizing for not seeing my email (really?) and that he will send me a cancellation for the listing. And THAT was the only thing they did in a timely manner: cancelling the contract

Here's my experience with them:…read more First off, check out the fake reviews that Yelp filtered out. I didn't see these until after I signed the contract. I hired them because I wanted a licenced contractor to finish an ADU  where another contractor left off. I got charged a lot of money but the quality of work was completely lacking. Cabinets were not straight, the counter top was not installed correctly, appliances were not installed correctly and on and on we kept finding mistakes and short cuts  made by the workers they hired. We were given numerous excuses why this and that couldn't be done. Well come to find out all of what they denied could have and should have been done.  You'd be better off hiring the guys in front of Home Depot than using these guys. Anyway, so Gal Sharvit is the one that comes out to give the estimates and oversee the work(which he barely did).  What he did do was ask for payment before the work was complete. I thought he was the one with the licence. It turns out his father Simon is the one with the license and he never once came over to supervise the work nor did I ever speak with him. This seems illegal at worst and shady at best. Most of the time a guy named Ben was there with one of the day- laborers. He often would point out all the mistakes from the other contractor and say how his guys would have done a better job. Unfortunately for us, their work was so poor that we had to hire other guys to fix all the mistakes they made.  You can see these guys have written numerous 5 star  fake reviews for themselves. They are located under "reviews that are not recommended" and most are written within a day of each other.
