We were seated and chips and a very tasty salsa arrived. I ordered a beer and cheese dip. Beer and mug were ice cold, as they should be. We enjoyed the cheese dip with the salsa and chips I ordered burrito fajita, and my sister the ground beef chimichanga. Both arrived quickly nice and hot. Both thought our meals were good. The place has the typical Mexican restaurant look and feel to it.

After the monotonous bowling excursion to the local family entertainment center, I needed a nice,…read morequiet, comfortable atmosphere to realign my cognitive chakras - this was the perfect place. On this initial visit, I opted for the authentically named, Burrito Indiana. It was a foot-long steak burrito with rice, beans, and veggies, smothered in white cheese sauce. It was a ton of food for $10. The entire family of four ate for $40, and we all took leftovers home for dinner. The waitress was very attentive and polite. The atmosphere was quiet, featured mexican-styled graffiti and paintings, and had these really interesting faux mini-balconies along the top of the wall. The chairs were carved animals, fruits, and nature scenes - all extremely colorful, collectively working to establish the fun and colorful atmosphere. I saw several offerings on the menu I plan on trying in future return visits. A definite must visit on your next trip to downtown Newburgh.

But I was seated immediately, and my server had my drink order out quickly. This is a step above your typical greasy spoon diner. It's quite nice, a little loud at times, and if you wanted to have a cup of coffee and listen in on the conversations around you, easy to do. I ordered one of their breakfast platters - country fried steak covered in sausage gravy (yum), scrambled eggs (light and fluffy), hash brown potatoes (excellent) and a short stack of pancakes. Special praise on the pancakes - they were perfect. This place is great. Prices are VERY reasonable for the portion sizes. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

Hands-down the best experience I have had at a Taco Bell!…read more I have to admit that I stopped eating at Taco Bell for a long time. I don't mean this location, I mean Taco Bell as a whole. Recently we decided to give it another chance. I brought my family to this location and had such a great experience we have been back several times. If you have a larger sized group like my family expect something to be wrong. The biggest difference for me was that the staff was quick to pivot and correct the mistake. We have been repeat customers several times since then without issue.
