1st time at a Mexican restaurant in Indiana and it was an amazing experience.... I am a fan of hot spicy food and Mexican cuisine is one of those who excel in it. Went to this place with the family. The menu had some many different items that will require endless visits to try 'em all!! All the dishes we ordered we delicious, portions were enormous with a speedy service. Place is huge and very clean with a variety of seating options... indoors & outdoors overlooking a pond with a fountain. Also they have a fish tank full of colorful fish... we had fund and enjoyed our time

The service was great, super fast, very efficient, food was amazing every time we went. Atmosphere was great, definitely be coming back!

Food is good - lots of selections on the menu, but many of them sound extremely similar - just switching out an ingredient or two. Nonetheless, I've never had anything from here that I didn't like. Service is friendly, but slow. Especially if you're in a larger group - we had about 8 on our last trip and watched a table of 4 come in after us, getting their food well before us, and were packing up to leave as our food was brought to the table. I recommend getting the cheese for the chips - of course I recommend it everywhere, but it doesn't disappoint here! There is an indoor and outdoor play area for kids, right next to a little man-made water feature.

A plate of partially eaten beans & rice. Note the beans are soupy, paste-like rather than refried beans.

I'm from Southern California (please don't hold that against me) & this is Southern Indiana (we moved here 6 weeks ago), so I don't want to be too hard on this establishment BUT I HATE IT!! Guacamole was whipped (no chunks of avocado, tomato, etc) & looked/tasted like paste. My granddaughter had tacos w/carne asada. She asked for hard shell, rather than soft. The shell she received was pre-made, like store-bought, rather than fresh. She ate half of a taco, her rice & part of her beans, which reminds me...the BEANS ARE WHIPPED! The weirdest thing I've ever seen!! (I have included a photo.) My wife had flautas...the dish comes with two, rice & "beans." She only ate one flauta & the rice. I had huevos rancheros. Great portion of eggs (4!!) but they were overcooked--REALLY overcooked. The dish comes with rice & beans, as well as your choice of floor or corn tortillas. I requested the flour (4!!) & ate one with the rice. Couldn't eat the "beans" or eggs. I don't eat meat, so I depend on beans mostly (eggs occasionally) for my protein. Unfortunately I didn't have any protein at Fiesta Acapulco. I let the manager know that we were not happy with everything (I was nice, I promise!). After we spoke I thanked him--his reply was, "no problem." Odd reply after hearing that we weren't really happy with the food. The waiter (a really nice guy) took off the guacamole & huevos rancheros from the final bill. I really appreciate that!! I REALLY wish we had loved the food so I could have written a glowing review!! Obviously it's the type of Mexican food I'm use to when we lived in California. The parking lot & restaurant is packed this Saturday evening, so Hoosiers MUST love it--genuinely happy for them!!

This is one order of the shrimp cocktail- to go.

I've been going here since the Apple Center days. The food keeps you coming back. The chips and salsa are great. The burritos are delicious. I love the fish tacos and fajitas. Recently a friend got me hooked on the shrimp cocktail. Bud!!! They make it with big grilled shrimp, tons of avocado and cilantro , the the sauce has just enough spiciness with a little ketchup thrown in for that classic cocktail sauce taste. Bud!!!! So much flavor in every bite. I'm making myself hungry now.

    Chips salsa and queso!

You order at the counter and find a seat. They didn't give us any numbers but still found us without any issue. The salsa bar was definitely a highlight and what drew me to this restaurant. They definitely adjusted the heat in the salsas to appeal to the most people, giving warnings of very hot and extremely hot. As a spice lover the hottest one was around a medium by my standard, but the flavors were excellent. We asked for some chips to sample the salsas before our meal arrived. They tasted homemade and very good. I ordered the chicken and pastor tacos with everything (cilantro, onions, lime) and also tried the pork tamale with green sauce. My bf had a chicken burrito. Everything was excellent, but the tamale was just a tad dry, but did taste homemade which was a plus. The tacos were well seasoned and the burrito was huge so we had leftovers. The food came out fast and before we left we also ordered a mango smoothie and mango with tajin/tamarind which was the perfect sweet treat. La Campirana is an absolute gem and one you should visit immediately!
