I recently had to find a new grooming spot since the place I used to go to is a bit too far from our new location. No shade at all to them I absolutely loved the ladies there, but the commute just wasn't sustainable anymore. After a little searching, I found this hidden gem tucked next to the RV lot on the corner of Valencia and Kolb, right across from the gas station. Honestly, it feels less like a grooming appointment and more like you're dropping your fur baby off at a birthday party. When I went to pick my dog up, I saw her interacting and playing with other dogs something I had never seen her do before. Of course, she didn't start whining until she saw me (classic), but it was the cutest thing. You could tell she felt completely comfortable and at ease. The ladies there are genuinely kind and welcoming. From drop-off to pick-up, they were warm, attentive, and clearly care about what they do. That matters. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a groomer who treats your dog like more than just an appointment slot. read more

A dog, with dreads like Bob Marley, found a sucker to care for him. I believe the groomer's name was Lori. She took this unknown personality - no hx or shot record - into her work place, and a Schnoodle emerged a couple of hours later. This was a couple of months ago while we were experiencing 100-and-plenty temps two months early. We have 2 husky mixes . They both weigh over a 100 pounds & they can be difficult at times. The first time we took them I just knew they were going to with them act up & we would be getting a phone call. Nope Pothos & May were awesome. I needed a dog sitter quickly before the Thanksgiving break. Me and my boyfriend found a stray and wanted to keep him but we were visiting family in Tucson and couldn't keep him where we were staying. I am having trouble writing this review because it is mixed. I have a GREAT groomer for my 2 dachshunds, Renee. She is amazing. She really cares for y pups and makes them look amazing. They love her. But this weekend I was boarded my oldest dachshund and dropped him off Wednesday as we were going out of town for an early Thanksgiving. I got a call on Friday afternoon that he had gotten into a bunch a treats as had bloody diarrhea. Why are treats at the level a dog with only 2 inch legs coujld reach. They assured me he was ok. I called on Saturday morning LOTS of time let LOTS of messages and no one returned any calls. I was a 1000 miles away and couldn't find out how my baby was doing! I thought someone would be at the kennel since they had dogs boarded. I have to wonder if that is true since the phones were never answered. I finally reached out to the groomer Renee and she called the owner April and was told April would reach out to me. She DID NOT. I waited all day, nothing. On Sunday, I reached out to Renee again. I could not sleep Saturday night because I could only assume my dog was dead and they were afraid to tell me over the phone. Renee assured me he was ok. She went in on her day off, took pictures of him, and said he was doing better. April finally called Sunday and made lots of excuses. Trying to blame it all on Renee and the staff working the kennel. She took no responsibility as the owner/operator. I will never board there again. I suggest you don't either. I am torn because Renee is so amazing. I was on vacation with my mom who also takes two of her dogs there for grooming. She has vowed never to go back. I am torn because Renee is so great. I wish she could work at a more responsible establishment. read more

I've brought my Bernese Mtn Dog here a few times and they always do such a great job! My girl never seems anxious when being dropped off which clearly shows how well they treat her and how much the staff genuinely care about the dogs that are in their hands. OMG! I wish I was staying in Tucson! My parents live in Saddlebrook and I drove and hour each way to get my puppy groomed before our flight. I WISH I could take these groomers with me to Florida! I have never seen groomers take SUCH amazing care of my little Teddy Bear puppy!!! I , of course, was overwhelmed by the fact that their Easter Special even existed. The picture is so cute AND Shannon actually sewed a little Easter Bunny pouch and baked homemade treats in the shape of bunnies to fill it. I had started this review the DAY of Queen's grooming because I loved them SO much, but, sadly, my 9lb Queen was bitten by a rattlesnake the very next morning. She was bitten in the paw and was in critical condition and in the hospital with a very slim chance of surviving. It was truly one of the hardest things I have ever been through. I believe that that Queen, because she looked SOO cute from her grooming appointment )and managed to keep her flower in her hair) made her SO cute, that I'm sure they gave her special attention. I would NEVER take my puppy anywhere else for grooming and/or boarding and can't wait to come back and visit AZ so I can take her back to them. Also, because of the fact they board dogs WITHOUT kennels, I would not hesitate to leave Queen here if it ever became necessary. They love your dog(s) like their own! We don't live here. We're passing through as full time RVers. We always have to rely on reviews and referrals to ensure we can make the best decision for services like this. We're always careful with our precious little fur son, so we were grateful when we can find a good service. We've used the services here, twice. Once for boarding and grooming and the 2nd time for just grooming. Here is what worked for us: Our groomer, Shannon was pretty speedy. She quoted a time and was able to get it done in less time. She offered a great holiday special and took a cute photo of our Pookie The price is fair Here is what did not work: This was sort of far from our campground over on the West of the 10 by A mountain. We weren't sure about the 'common play area' for our Charlie. He's a senior citizen and isn't into all of that. We're fans and we'd return to this grooming service when we come back this way again! read more

When I found this place I love how close it was to me and how friendly the staff and kitty groomer was. My experience was amazing, I asked for a lion cut and the groomer delivered and even provided some cool follow up services. I was asked if I wanted bows on my cat and I said yes, she had two really cute pink bows after a few hours I noticed these bows were still on (my cat is a master accessory remover) so this was a surprise. when I went to see how these were on I saw they were on using a rubber band... I had to cut off the fur attached to these bows. my cats fur was knotted and the skin on area was so inflamed because of how tight they were. Just some feedback on these bows... they should be clips or just not used / offered at all. I'm not writing to discourage anyone to use them! Please do they are great! Always a go-to place for both of my kids for years. One of my kid was more difficult than another but Celesse always did a great job per your request. The place is flexible with your schedule also. I had to drop them off early for work and pick them up a little late and they have no problem with that! Two things I thought would be awesome about this place is it had very good reviews and was close to me. I really wished I would have had the same experience as all the great ones I see on here. I have a small fluffy dog and took her to get groomed here first time they cut her hair too short but not big deal I'm a super understanding guy it'll grow back. I will describe the groomers for reference to the owner in case they read this, the second time a pregnant girl with tattoos cut her around her private area and she had really bad razor burn on her nipples and they didn't even trim her body body for whatever reason. I was very upset but just hoped it was a one off thing. Unfortunately I decided to give them another try because I truly believe lo it wouldn't happen again. This time a black girl with very short hair and scrubs was the groomer, I told her to please be careful with her as last time they had cut her etc. my dog is small about 11 pounds fully grown usually takes 2-3 hours at groomer. This time they kept her for about 5 hours which I thought was super weird but hey I've hear some groomers take that long too. Picked her up she looked great and they said all was good, later that day I was hugging the pup like a baby and felt a little bump on her lower back. They had basically cut her with the clippers there waited for it to stop bleeding/scar hence the reason for beeping her so long. Needless to say I was furious and my biggest issue it JUST TELL ME YOU INJURED THE DOG. First time they hurt her they played it off second time they lied, kept her long and just stayed quiet. I truly wish this never happens to anyone but just want to tell people of the things they withheld from me. My dog is fine but I had to take her to the vet, if they lied/withheld information I wasn't going to argue with them etc. posting this to inform people of my experience. I understand injuries can happen in pet grooming my biggest issue was not being told so I can get the appropriate care for my dog plus the second time they injured her it was pretty bad as seen in the photos. read more

If I could give no stars I would. First time there with my dog after this place was recommended to me. I spoke with the groomer and asked for an Aussiedoodle Puppy Cut. I also noted mats on his head and ear area and acknowledged that area could be shaved. After FIVE hours my dog was completely shaved down to the skin! No communication during that time letting me know what they were going to do. I didn't even recognize my pup when I picked him up! This was just pure laziness on the part of the groomer and/or trying to handle too many dogs at once. There's no excuse for lack of communication. Never again! Sadly, this "mom and pops" style groomers lost our business. The services offered are great, but my dog is "rambunctious" to say the least and has heightened energy when he goes to the groomers. Last time he was there Fall of 2020, the lady who groomed him mentioned that he "nipped" at her, which is out of character for my pup! When I took him home, he was limping slightly and his toenail had been cut very short!!!!!! I suppose his nip was a reaction based on his nail being cut so short. This morning, I spoke with Maggie to make an appointment for my dog. When I first called, she placed me on hold quickly, then said we had a bad connection and asked that I call her back. When I called back, she asked for my dog's name. She then set the phone down (did not place it on hold as she had done on the previous call) and I overheard her conversation to other staff there. Maggie asked " if anyone wanted to cut a really bad Yorkie and sort of chuckled"...one person responded no, I just can't today! And laughed! Then I was offered an appointment for tomorrow at 1:00. I let Maggie know that I would have to call her back, mainly because I was surprised by her unprofessionalism. I called back minutes later and let Maggie know that she can shred my dog's file because I had overheard her conversation with the groomer(which I suspect was very intentional). No authentic apology was offered it as simply a "oh, I'm sorry!". This is not the way to treat customers especially in an industry that is considered a luxury and not a necessity--especially during a pandemic!!! I hope the owners seriously consider the impact that staff have on their business both POSITIVE and NEGATIVE. I have taken my high anxiety dog here twice now and they are great with him. He used to come out of groomers trembling and scared but when he leave here he is confident and handsome. He is a doodle and has strange textures do his hair so his cuts don't usually turn out gray at other groomers, but they do a great job. I love this place! read more

They have a cute little play ground for the dogs and two gates which make it very safe so I never have to worry; she is always in great hands. I just moved to town and did my research on groomers in the area before I picked a place. I have two huskies. One has high anxiety around other dogs and the other gets aggressive. I called Lynn and she told me not to worry, she'd make it work so that my dogs weren't near other dogs. Lynn and the other groomer did an amazing job on them and really took the time to make sure they weren't uncomfortable. The cuts look amazing and they did everything I asked. Really bummed with this place. I had high hopes. I researched quite a bit before taking my new sheepadoodle to the groomer. I really liked the thought of this place because they don't use kennels. I thought that was awesome! I also saw some pictures of doodles they have groomed that turned out awesome. I was a little concerned when they didn't ask for shot records at drop off... especially since all the dogs are in contact with each other. Then... the haircut. My puppy's head was shaved. Like a reverse Mohawk... with long hair on the sides. I wanted to cry when I got to the car and saw what was happening. I asked to keep it as long as possible with a teddy bear cut. I brush this dog daily (1-2 times) to ensure he has NO mats. So i don't understand why it was shaved. It looks like a mistake because the rest of the head is longer... it's just one swipe super short down the back of the head. The hair is shaved SO short but only in the middle. Not blended at all. I get angry every time I see this. I am personally going through grooming academy, but wanted to find an awesome place to take him to so I wouldn't mess him up my first try. I ended up sitting with him in the backyard for a while blending the top of his head. Im really sad about how my puppy came back and will no be returning. Revised to 2 stars bc I do acknowledge the time and effort she put into my dog on his first grooming session. She did a good job on his body and legs and was able to trim his nails well. read more

This place has been less than a ten minute drive from me for years and I can't believe I never took my dogs there until now. This place is perfect! I have two older dogs, a standard poodle and wheaten terrier and minimal stress is of utmost importance to me. This quaint little business has a nice yard in front and do not crate their clients. The environment was very welcoming and you could tell the staff love animals. I liked seeing the other dogs out and about, and not quivering in a crate somewhere silently in the hushed back area where no one sees. Anyone who must regularly groom their pets know exactly what I'm talking about, and this place is the opposite of that. My dogs came back looking great and distinctly calm considering they were just groomed. They even gave each of my dogs a bag of gourmet treats at the end. I will most assuredly be back.
