My groomer for the past eight years retired and I was nervous to find a new one. My husky has some typical stray/husky issues. I explained to the staff that one of his back legs acts up and he tends to be apprehensive of people. They kept him there for over four hours to give him breaks and keep him comfortable. Reasonable service charges, good people, my cat had a great experience. It was easy making an appointment. My cat, who has very long hair, had developed bad mats on her chest. Kelly did the grooming and Bailey assisted. They shaved her mats off and gave her an overall grooming with brushing. Tons of undercoat. Had her tail and belly brushed and she didn't even flinch, let alone complain. Most cats hate that. They were telling me of the last feisty cat they had which actually bit Kelly on the finger. Our 3yo Husky malamute hasn't been to the groomers in a while and with this AZ heat coming we knew we had to do something. All other places were booked out, not accepting new dogs or we would have to do daycare just to get her groomed. But guess what, We finally found our forever groomer! There was so much room and it was safe to have to leave our baby for most of the day. Because Ra'Ra has a special temperament, we don't trust just anyone nor does she lol. She had sensitive areas on her body and is overly anxious at times so we were a bit nervous how she would handle an all day grooming because she was so raggedy looking lol. It was a lot of deshedding and taking breaks for both Ra'Ra and her groomers so we definitely understood the need for an all day thing. Now we know to keep her from getting that bad and she won't have to be there all day going forward. Now when it was time to pick up our sweet girl she looked SO GOOD!!!!! Omg so soft, her fur just moving with her, her paws make her look like a cute little poodle feet lol I love it! They even filed her nails and didn't cut them, thank God because I have an aversion to them being cut due to previous bad experiences we've had for her. I have used several Eastside groomers in Tucson over the last 2 years and though a couple are OK with most breeds of dogs, after having raised standard poodles and OES years ago I am shocked at the lack of knowledge in groomers here in Tucson! I've been meaning to write a review for a while now, but have forgotten to do it for the longest time. I took my boyfriend's Siberian husky here since 2021 and they really are the best in town. Milo is a wonderful dog however he does come with his husky quirks. They accommodated him and did so much more! Milo gets scared walking on smooth floors so they would help him get around from time to time. He also has hip dysplasia and arthritis in his leg so he needs to take breaks. They would always give him breaks whenever he would get tired. Also, they were also really good about getting knots out of his tail that I always had difficulty getting out on my own (partly because Milo would never let me brush his tail). My boyfriend now lives in a different state so unfortunately Milo won't be getting groomed here anymore, but Kelly, Bailey, and the rest of the staff have really heightened my standard for groomers. I probably won't be able to find anyone else that did as great of a job as this team. You can really tell they care for the dogs. read more

Massively dissatisfied! first time in. New Client. Was not greeted friendly. Called after 3 hours and said they had not even started on my dog. I asked when would he be done and they said i don't know so i asked can you find out. They then proceeded to tell me 45 min. meaning they will be rushing the grooming. went in to pick up my dog and was greeted by the apparent owner yelling at me . She said I was telling her she didn't know how to do her job. That is not what I said on the phone. all i wanted was if you could not get to my dog that i told you had separation anxiety that I could have came and retrieved him or rescheduled. I stated you had him 3 hours just doing nothing. Then she proceeded to tell me that he had never been groomed because of his behavior but he has been groomed and when you keep dog for over 4 hours he probably was hungry and having anxiety. She said she had a video which I did not approve them filming my dog. the cut is uneven and when i put him in the car he drank a ton of water so not sure if they even gave him water. read more

I've been bringing my oldest dog to Top Paw for years, and now that I've adopted another dog, they both have been groomed here several times. At first I was very happy with their services, but my dogs are very scared of this place now, and their haircuts aren't the greatest. The first cut they gave my youngest pup was adorable, and when I asked for both dogs to get that same haircut on the next visit, I picked them up to find that they were both shaved all the way down. That was disappointing, but we decided to let their fur grow out so they could try again next time. When I asked for the cute haircut on the next visit, she was snappy with me and said it wasn't possible to do the cut that I was asking for. I know this isn't true, because they had done it once before. Again, I picked up my dogs to find them both cut super short and not what we had discussed. Honestly, I can't see myself paying nearly $200 every visit just to be disappointed with the results and have my dogs scared to death to return. This place was amazing. I have a difficult dog when it comes to grooming. She's weird and doesn't like to be touched which I get but it makes brushing her and grooming her very difficult. They got her and it took about 3 hours for a wash, deshedding, trim and nail file. She took the longest while drying cause she doesn't like the dryer but other than that she came out looking adorable and the people there were really nice. Let me tell you a little about my dog, as well as Top Paw Grooming. My dog is 12 years old and she is not good with other dogs... at all. She also gets extremely anxious while around other dogs. Luckily, Kelly and her team are extremely sensitive to this fact. Each time Panga comes in, they greet her so lovingly (and my dog even gets excited to see Kelly, but then I think she remembers where she is ). They make sure no other dogs are out when they take her back, or if there are dogs out they will carry my puppy. Kelly and her team have always done a great job with Panga's grooming, as well as my dogs quirky personality! My dog has had issues other places with groomers, but never has here. They care, they are cognizant of any issues going on with my puppy, they ensure the cut is done to my liking & always ask how I would like it. We gave Top Paw a try back in May. We just moved to town and were not excited about having to find a new dog groomer. Our shipoo is a blind senior dog and usually gets very anxious when he goes to the groomer. We were surprised and delighted to find that when we went to pick him up from his appointment at Top Paw he wasn't shaking and losing his mind, as he usually is when my husband goes to pick him up, but seemed much more relaxed and hardly nervous at all. Prices are very reasonable. They are a VERY busy shop, so I would suggest calling two to three weeks in advance of when you actually want an appointment. They followed the grooming instructions my husband gave them to a tee. We would definitely recommend Top Paw and look forward to taking our dog there again. read more
