While I understand that accidents can happen during grooming, it was concerning that this wasn't mentioned or documented so we could monitor the area or seek treatment for potential infection, if necessary. My elderly mother, who picked up the dog, didn't notice the abrasions right away. When I saw her the next day, I immediately noticed both sides were cut. Upon speaking in person with the manager, she insisted it was just "allergies" and offered no apology or refund. This was very disappointing, especially since my mother recently moved here from South Carolina, where she had a groomer she absolutely loved and trusted. It was his first professional grooming, and they said he did a good job-which I was so nervous about, given his age. I could tell immediately that they were completely in control. Not only did they make my puppy calm and relaxed, but they put me at ease too. You can just tell that they are completely knowledgeable, and know their way around a dog. Even when I picked him up he was completely calm and didn't seem like he was traumatized at all. The place is older, but it is clean. My main concern, as with any loving pet owner, is that my puppy is treated with kindness. Both women were more than kind and lovely. I will be taking my boy back for more grooming in the future.
