I have been seeing the gals at Canine Territory for a few years. The owner and staff are so wonderful! Unfortunately my days off, Sunday/Monday, they are closed. That being said, when I have a random extra day off, they have ALWAYS have accommodated Tater for a bath and nail trim. He is an English Bulldog and a scared baby. They are so kind coaxing him in. They call when he's ready, and he's so clean and smells so good!!! They are even able to trim his nails as short as they can. This is so important because he is mostly an inside Bulldog, Tucson and he's 8. Just wanted to say Thank you to the owner and staff at Canine Territoy. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

We stopped for a nail trim. Their window says drop ins welcome for nail trim (no appointment necessary and we are not existing clients). We were greeted immediately and the gal took our dog and quickly trimmed her nails. I believe it was $10-$12. VERY reasonable especially since our vet just significantly increased their nail trim cost. We will be stopping by once a month. read more

Unfortunately after 12 years of receiving services for our furry family members, we had a very traumatic experience. Our healer/boxer mix went for a bath and nail clip recently and when I brought her home, after three hours she was incredibly stressed and excessively thirsty. She spent the next two days unable to eat and stayed in her bed, only getting up to go to the bathroom. I was so concerned about her, correlated it to her spa visit, and also attributed it to my five year old nephew's absence. Something did not feel right, the light was no longer in my dogs eyes, withdrawn and depressed, slowly our dog seemed to come back to herself the third day. By chance a client who I hadn't seen for a while, and whom I had referred to CT contacted me and told me a terrible account of her sweet poodle while being groomed at CT. Apparently CT puts dogs in confining kennels under heated fans to dry them after bathing. Her poodle hadn't been properly attended and was literally cooked by the heated fans. She had to be taken to the the vet next door for excessive dehydration, then rushed to the emergency vet for days of intensive care. She lived but never thrived again and died shortly afterwards. Her brains were literally cooked. I feel so terrible that I put my own dogs through this excessive dehydration torture and for the terrible torturous end of my dear friend's sweet girl. Please before you leave your pets with CT ask to be given a tour of their bathing facility. Dogs should not be put under heated dryers unattended for extended time and without water! I will not patronize this business again and I intend to report then to the BBB. read more

Love this place for a nail trim! No appointment needed, they always make time when you walk in, and its just $10 (cash, not sure if there's tax if you pay credit). Also, if you ask, they'll finish the nails with a dremel so they aren't sharp. Super quick and everyone is very kind to my little maniac of a dog. The grooming tables are always bumping, so it seems like they must be great at that too! read more

I went to Canine Territory to get my dog's nails trimmed. No appoinment is necessary and it's only 10 dollars. They were quick and did a good job. I got all three of my dog's trimmed the same day but brought one in at a time. They are two hard for me to handle all on one trip. On the last dog's visit I added a tip for all three dogs. A day later I checked my bank account on line and the nail attendant wrote in a 25% tip on the other two receipts. I have never had that happen. If you do business here be careful. We have three dogs, two low maintenance and one all hail the high maintenance queen, a silver yorkie. Ann, the owner, is awesome! She always sends our drama queen home looking perfect and fit for her throne. The two low maintenance and slightly unfriendly dogs do extremely well with her and her staff. One pup is frightened of everyone, including her shadow, and does well when being bathed and groomed at Canine Territory. The prices are fair which is why appointments can be a few weeks out. Sometimes if you are in a pinch, they can squeeze you in to help you out. The great thing about appointments is Ann checks her voice messages, calls you back and makes it happen. The best part is, if you get voicemail, she tells you when her first appointment is or how far out she is scheduling, which makes life easier when trying to plan. read more

I could not be happier with my Leo's grooming experience!!! My terrier mix is a rescue and an absolute nightmare to get groomed. Everywhere I've gone in the past, I've gotten a call to pick him up 15 minutes in. He is absolutely terrified of the groomer and shrieks like a banshee so nobody would put up with him. It got to the point where I couldn't take care of my baby how I wanted to, his nails were curving and his fur was getting matted. The staff at Canine Territory were patient, understanding, and did everything possible to work with me to make sure my sweet little boy got taken care of. This grooming salon is across town for me but well worth the drive, I will never go anywhere else! The cost was extremely reasonable, but the care they showed my dog is absolutely priceless. They understood the poor thing was just scared and knew exactly how to get the job done, whereas so many others gave up on him. I can't thank Canine Territory enough. The very best! No one but Ann can get near my dog's nails. Arlo is very low maintenance, I take him to a "do it yourself" dog wash about once a month then we go to Canine Territory for a pawdicure. FABULOUS! Ann and her staff always do a great job and are meticulous and detailed. They take pride in their work. I have a Great Pyrenees, two small dogs and four cats. Brought my pomeranian here after moving in within walking distance.. I was unimpressed with the overall attitude of the staff, not sure if it was an owner or not, but upon entering a business for the first time I expect a certain amount of sincerity and kindness- didn't get any of this at the time.. also was sad to see my pom had strange "nicks" all over her torso, dark spots as if the grooming had been very uneven. She always has the same hair cut at every groomer I bring her to and I have never seen this.. Overall the prices were average and the service seemed to be too. I would go here again to give them another chance but wouldn't be overly excited to do so. read more

My dog is a Golder Retriever so he needs regular grooming. The people here do an excellent job getting him washed and trimmed up. Far better than the "big box" pet stores in town. The only time I won't go here is if they are too busy and my dog needs an immediate grooming. read more
