No shade at all to them I absolutely loved the ladies there, but the commute just wasn't sustainable anymore. After a little searching, I found this hidden gem tucked next to the RV lot on the corner of Valencia and Kolb, right across from the gas station. Honestly, it feels less like a grooming appointment and more like you're dropping your fur baby off at a birthday party. When I went to pick my dog up, I saw her interacting and playing with other dogs something I had never seen her do before. Of course, she didn't start whining until she saw me (classic), but it was the cutest thing. You could tell she felt completely comfortable and at ease. The ladies there are genuinely kind and welcoming. From drop-off to pick-up, they were warm, attentive, and clearly care about what they do. That matters. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a groomer who treats your dog like more than just an appointment slot.

Not too long ago, ownership changed and it has been consistent in expertise. The pricing is also consistent with other Tucson groomers. Highly recommend!!

We had a decent experience with this groomer the first two times. Unfortunately, on our third…read morevisit, our poodle came home with noticeable razor abrasions and small cuts on both sides. While I understand that accidents can happen during grooming, it was concerning that this wasn't mentioned or documented so we could monitor the area or seek treatment for potential infection, if necessary. My elderly mother, who picked up the dog, didn't notice the abrasions right away. When I saw her the next day, I immediately noticed both sides were cut. Upon speaking in person with the manager, she insisted it was just "allergies" and offered no apology or refund. This was very disappointing, especially since my mother recently moved here from South Carolina, where she had a groomer she absolutely loved and trusted. I would avoid this place given their lack of transparency and accountability.

Before you take your beloved pets to this groomer please keep the following facts in mind:…read more 1. This groomer does not require vaccinations nor does she check for vaccinations for the pets she grooms. I found that shocking upon setting up my appointment as every other groomer I have taken my Golden Retriever to requires them for safety/health reasons. 2. This business is ran out of a mobile home in a residential area. See photo below. 3. My Golden Retriever was infected with fleas after this grooming. He has never had fleas in his life. 4. I contacted the owner with concerns and she immediately dismissed my comment. She stated that he didn't get fleas from her business but it was possible he got fleas from another dog that she was grooming. I am happy to say my Golden is now happy and healthy. I ended up having to take him to the vet and another groomer and spend almost $300 dollars more to have this problem fixed. It was heartbreaking to see my little baby suffer. Please take all of these facts into consideration before taking your furbaby.

I almost never leave one-star reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so other dog…read moreowners can make an informed decision. I'm new to Tucson and needed boarding for my Golden Retriever while I took a two-day trip to California. After seeing good reviews for Dirty Dogs, I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, the experience was full of red flags from the very beginning. Every time I called, my calls went unanswered. Instead, they would text me immediately saying everything had to be done online. I'm not great with online portals, so I asked if I could just come in and complete everything in person. I was told no. It all had to be done online. It wasn't until I texted that I was about to use another facility that someone finally called me. Since my dog had never been there before, she needed a temperament assessment. I wanted to bring her in a few days early so I could see the facility and make sure she was comfortable, but I would have been charged for that visit. They suggested I simply do the assessment on the morning of boarding, free of charge, so I trusted their recommendation. The morning of drop-off, I received a reminder text at 7:53 AM saying dogs had to be dropped off between 6:30 and 8. Since I was going to arrive around 8:15, I called immediately. I was told, "Well there are reminders (plural) that are sent and it's okay, but I would be charged a 15 dollar late fee because the dogs would already be kenneled. I decided not to argue about the ONE reminder since I would be leaving my dog alone with these people and didn't want anything to happen, I accepted responsibility and didn't argue. ******The real problem ****** happened when I arrived. I pulled up to the facility, walked around looking where to enter, an employee walked up, took my dog's leash out of my hand without introducing himself, didn't greet me, didn't greet my dog, and immediately started walking her inside. When I tried to follow, he blocked the entrance and told me I wasn't allowed in. That's the moment I knew I couldn't leave my dog there. As a dog owner, handing your pet over to strangers for the first time requires trust. I expected at least a friendly introduction, someone acknowledging my dog by name, explaining the process, or doing something to help me feel comfortable. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WOULD BE WATCHING MY DOG?? ANY NORMAL human with half an heart sees a Golden Retriever and wants to pet and greet her!! These are supposed to be people who work with and love dogs???? Instead, the interaction felt rushed, cold, and unsettling. I made the decision right then to cancel my Labor Day trip. losing the trip was disappointing AND COSTLY, but I don't regret that decision for a second. When the owner called me afterward, she told me she had reviewed the security footage and that the employee had followed normal protocol. I listened to her explanation, but when I tried to explain why the experience concerned me, I felt interrupted and corrected rather than heard. To make matters worse, I was still charged 170 dollars! I knew I would be charged for booking, but figured she would work with me! All I got was "you can still drop her off between 4-6pm" (whatever the drop off time was). I want to be CLEAR: **** This review isn't about the money. It's about trust. ***** When you're asking someone to care for your dog, especially for the first time, trust is everything. Unfortunately, I never felt that trust was earned. One final piece of advice, pay close attention to the reviews. Many of the older positive reviews appear to be from before the current ownership and many focus on grooming rather than boarding. Maybe this place works well for some people, but based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend boarding your dog here. This lady loves to post the videos on here to justify her actions, I HOPE TO GOD SHE DOES, because ANYONE who loves their pets will see how COLD this exchange was. && lady, POST THE AUDIO!!
