Wow, was I ever pleasantly surprised. After navigating through their phone menu (all I had to do was press 1) a human actually answered! He said someone would come to the house in an hour!! OH MY GOSH!! The guy was an hour late, but he CALLED me to TELL me this! HOLY COW, and he had an excuse, the roads were icy, and I can verify this because I was outdoors early this morning, and it was so bad I nearly slipped and fell 3 times. So anyway, the guy arrives, and he has a Red Sox cap on, which is a risk in this neck of the woods. Vermont, if I had to guess, is 60% Red Sox fans, 40% Yankees fans, so yeah, we were happy about his hat. He is courteous, polite, young and cute (my sister's comment) and he petted the barking dog. He found the problem in 4 minutes (broken power cord, weird) fixed it, and left. No charge! Wow, does it get any better than that? We were all so pleased that we had a celebratory Sidecar. The customer service agent tried diligently to help us trouble shoot over the phone, to no avail. She put in a work order, I then told her I had some folks coming to stay in a day, could we get it fixed by that time, oh, did I mention, it was 4pm. No promises but she was going to do her best. Within an hour a very nice service tech dropped off a new box, waited to make sure we got it up and running and we were good to go. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

After several failed attempts to manually open the garage door to get my car out, I went into panic mode. Seeing that Overhead Door Co (the company I have always used) was closed and would not open until Monday morning, I just cut my losses for the weekend. On Saturday, I was out with a friend and happened to pass by Limoge & Sons. After a quick google search I saw they offered 24/7 emergency services. I gave them a call and the dispatcher couldn't have been any nicer, she got my number and told me a technician would be in touch with me. Within minutes a technician, who also couldn't have been nicer, gave me a call and went over all of my options: said someone could absolutely come over the weekend and quoted me an emergency service visit, he also offered for someone to come on Monday and quoted me a regular visit (both options seemed very financially feasible, in my opinion). I opted to wait until Monday-- yet another friendly employee called around 11am to see if it was a good time to come, got here around 11:20, assessed and explained the issue, fixed the problem and was done within 20 minutes. I am so impressed with how friendly everyone I dealt with was, how speedy the service was, and how inexpensive everything was. Also provided a wonderful opportunity to support a local business! But what I found myself…read morefocusing on in the first couple of hours of our disaster was the professionalism, expertise and kindness of the team from PuroClean. Within a half hour of calling late last Saturday evening, the PuroClean technician was at the door. Before leaving that night, he gave us his personal cell number and said to call him if we had any questions the next day - Sunday. We called; he returned our calls twice and answered all of our questions. And the same technician returned Monday morning and the next several mornings as well to check on the dryness. It wasn't clear early on whether there would be insurance coverage, so we appreciated that PuroClean was thoughtful in determining which sections of drywall, built-in cabinetry and flooring needed to be removed to expedite drying. We spoke several times with the PuroClean office personnel in the following days, and they, too, were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. If we ever have another mishap, we would absolutely call PuroClean. Just very nice people providing remarkable, competent service.
