I really had always loved the rug which was in my childhood home in our living room. I remember crawling on the ever so soft high piled pale and beautiful rug as a toddler. With such sentimental attachment as it reflected my Mothers personality which was vibrant but also soft and classic..I asked Aaron what could he possibly do to save it. He said he would try and treat it with kid gloves in the several step process of trying to restore and resurrect it. He promised he would communicate as time went on as it was so fragile and old and taking a risk. I am so happy to give this Company my 5 out of 5 star recommendation for the superior job they did at using their wisdom of many years on dealing with rugs as well as some out of the box ideas as to preserve its textile authenticity and age. It came back to me with very few imperfections that I thought could never be repaired and bright and beautiful and most importantly intact. Like I tell most…read morefolks, it is expensive to have any kind of work done by anyone on your house's plumbing, and Chuck's is no exception. That being said, the work is complete and correct and you don't have to worry. That is important to me. If you ask the plumbers when they are done their job to guess at what it is going to cost - add $500 at least to what it will actually cost. I got a guess of $1300 to $1500 for an all day job. It came in just over $2000. Alot for a leaky faucet, but it was far more exptensive when you got right into it. Part of the high cost was that the worker had to call for advice on some of the repair which slowed him down. More hours = more money. In the end, as I said before, it was completed and correct and I don't have to worry about it becoming a problem again in my lifetime. Sometimes S@#t happens and you just have to roll with it.
