This title company is by far the worst title company I've ever dealt with. Our escrow officer went on vacation and no one else would return calls or emails sent to her "team". They sent incomplete paperwork for signature with no instructions. When you do get ahold of someone they either can't answer basic questions that they should know or they play stupid. That's not the worst part, they outright LIED about when they were sending the wire transfer for our transaction and when no money showed up, they couldn't even produce a tracking number......so once again, we are having to follow up and jump through hoops just to get basic information. They are either lazy, incompetent, or both. They should pay me for the headaches they have caused. read more

We sold a house in the Redding area and we went through this title company. The escrow officer handling the sale was Michelle Padilla. We have experience with selling houses and have gone through many title companies and know how they should work in a professional manner. Our realtor agrees with our evaluation of FNT's service and concurs that neither of us will never use their service again. The issues we had was that there was little to no communications on the part of FNT both in them sending us information (with no context, explanations, or helpful things like highlighting where to sign a 30 page document) OR in returning calls. We only got answers to questions when we happened to call when the loan officer happened to be in the office despite leaving several messages. Never was a called returned because we asked for it. Never was any document reviewed with me. There was never any attempt to have any kind of conversation to ensure that we were on the same page and questions were answered. Documents were sent (as mentioned) without any context and often with errors. When it came time to sign the final documents the escrow officer was not available to answer questions and we had to guess and use the internet to figure out what some of the terms meant. 24 hours after the closing, we still had to call FNT to find out if the property closed only to get a casual answer that the property did close. Lastly, when we had the opportunity to give feedback, they were not receptive. read more

Not only did they not get our sale closed on time, they made errors in both the calculation of the agent's commission and the net proceeds that were due to us (seller). Even more aggravating is that once we caught the error, it took over two weeks for them to correct their error. Will not recommend them and suggest you look for another title company. read more

Fidelity is one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Here's the nutshell version of what you can expect if you do business with this company: 1. Zero communication 2. Incompetent employees 3. Delayed closing with no reasons given as to why 4. Continued zero communication 5. Office and County managers who are unwilling to do anything about poor service 6. Negative attitude from employees who simply don't do their jobs 7. To be called names such as b#*&h, nasty, push, or worse. 8. Pay full-price, top-dollar fees for all the above After opening escrow (Michelle Padilla) I was not contacted by her or anyone else in the company until about three days before the projected close date and then only after I contacted her for status. When I did speak with her she sounded irritated and annoyed that she even had to have a conversation with me. When, after yet another week of zero contact and a full week AFTER the projected close data (which I had never had any communication as to WHY that wasn't going to be happening) I emailed Michelle for further status I was emailed back by another escrow officer informing me that Michelle was on vacation. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this new person and asked yet again when the transaction would be closing. I was told "a couple of days'. Another week went by with zero contact and not closing I called the office manager and ultimately spoke with both her and the county manager. I told both of them that, as a business owner myself, I was utterly disgusted with the complete lack of communication and substandard work that Fidelity was providing and that if I ran my business in such a manner I would long ago been our of business. Both managers seemed somewhat sympathetic yet said there was nothing they could do and, in essence, that it was just too bad. When I attempted to go in to sign documents Michelle met me with an attitude right out of the gate. This surprised me because I had been expecting some for of an apology for the poor service and delayed closing. As if having an attitude while collecting money from a paying customer who has already been delayed and given incompetent and substandard service wasn't enough, it got even worse. When Michelle left the room momentarily I happened to notice an open email on her computer as it was sitting directly in front of me. There, right before my eyes, were no less than three emails calling me 'b#*&h', 'a nasty thing' and 'pushy' HOW COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I will be taking up this matter with the Insurance Commissioner's office and the Department of Corporations. Oh, and my attorney will be in the loop as well. read more
