What can I say? Stopped here on a Saturday night because my daughter needed some crab legs. We were told we could sit anywhere, so we went to the back. After a few minutes we decided it was way too cold back there and the ceiling tiles had a lot of water damage on them, making me wonder if there was a mold issue. We asked if we could move to the table that just vacated mid restaurant. She graciously obliged. We both ordered the crab legs and chose our sides. Didn't take long before our salads came out. Mine, lettuce, nice sized with lovely French dressing. Hers, coleslaw. Next came out heaping plate of crab legs with drawn butter and my baked potato. And a bucket for the shells. We quickly began cracking those steaming hot crab legs. Sooooo good! My baked potato was on the hard side. Not like raw. But maybe had been sitting around, not at all fluffy on the inside. I heard someone else complain about it as well. The star of the show were the crab legs. No doubt about it. There had to be a pound or a pound and a half. The food has always been good when I've come. The ambiance is going down hill. It's clear the building is having some issues. Replacing the ceiling tiles should be at the top of their list. Maybe that's the least of their concerns. With covid, the salad bar looks like it was closed down, which I understand, but it was kind of covered up in the back near the stained tiles. Other than that, service was great, food was great!

We come once a year for the AYCE snow crab legs. The Sunday special is $45 and comes with 2 sides. They keep them coming and they're delicious! My son had the grilled cheese with bacon and it was yummy. Our waitress was great. Love the farmers potatoes.

Hands down some of the best bar food we've had locally. Gets busy at night, but they do have take out. Barbara was amazing.

FIBs across the street put a tomato next to the bun, which makes the bread soggy near the end. Here, the put the bottom bun, meat, then stack everything on top. The darkness or burntness made the bottom bun look burnt, which messes up the presentation of the burger. The bacon on the burger was buried below lettuce and other toppings. It overall wasn't a terrible burger, but seems like there could have been more thought and time put into the burger. Over Rockton Inn, the place before this, they have an electronic jukebox, which is cool! They also have a claw machine for catching your own lobster for $3. You catch it and they cook it for free! When we went on Sunday, they had a special on Wings for .35 cents a wing. They also had a make your own or waitress does it Bloody Mary station. I think that's a nice touch! I had the waffle fries with cheese here, which seemed a bit greasy, but they were definitely some of the best waffle fries I've had up in this area. I would totally recommend this place for others!

There was a Bloody Mary DIY bar and I don't know if this is a Sunday thing or not but it was a cool touch I am just not brave enough to try one yet but it's on the to do list. Anyway, I visited the old Rockton Inn often and was in love with their Parmesan fries but this one has waffle fries that made me forget all about Rockton Inn. I got the Whiskeys BBQ burger and it was delicious but big, I was unable to finish it. Halfway through my food I did notice the corner of my plate was chopped like it had been dropped a lot. Not a big deal or problem just an observation Overall it was a good experience and I will be returning

The main sign on the pole has definitely seen better days, and the place as a whole feels a bit run down. As you walk in, be careful of the trip hazard at the entrance--it's a bit uneven. It's a little "divey," but don't let that be a dealbreaker. It's just an observation, a reminder not to judge a book by its cover. Note to management: Some minor fixes could give it a little more curb appeal. Stepping inside, you'll see the main dining room and an old buffet area that I assume hasn't been used since COVID. It's all a bit dated, but clean and functional. They serve breakfast all day and have a full lunch and dinner menu as well. Even though it was a relatively busy Sunday morning, we were greeted and seated quickly and didn't have to wait long for our initial service. Almost before I could take a sip of my no-frills, bottomless cup of $3 coffee, our giant portions of breakfast arrived. It was an omelette kind of day for us. We placed a special order for my dad (he's got his usual), I got the Denver Omelette ($14) with jalapeños, and my stepmom ordered the Meat Eaters Omelette ($15). They opted for toast, and I got the pancakes, which were a meal in themselves. While the prices have increased significantly since my first visit, the large portions are big enough to share or take half home, which is exactly what we did. We were a little ignored and never asked if everything was as expected. We did, however, get coffee refills and eventually received the bill and some to-go boxes. Another note to management: The bell that incessantly rings every time someone comes or goes needs to go! By the time we left, I was anxious and extremely tired of the bell. I feel sorry for the employees who have to listen to that all day long! Overall, this place does a good and honest business. Aside from the bell and the slight dip in attention, we enjoyed our meal.

We started with steak bites and crab, stuffed mushrooms. Pretty good. Salads were good too. Great dressing. Entrées, we had the halibut, New York strip, and filet. All were good but not exceptional. The steak was cooked to perfection. The crab cake was okay and the potatoes were nothing to write home about. My meal also came with a side salad that was very good as I liked the addition of shredded beets! He ordered seafood linguine and the seafood was so yummy. The linguine itself was just mediocre. He also upgraded to the lobster bisque and it was good but definitely didn't taste homemade. We had eaten so much we didn't have room for dessert. The service was good, our server was kind and friendly and checked back a few times. The server assistants were absolutely amazing with keeping waters full and plates cleared. I don't like sitting at the tables here so when I made the reservation I requested a booth. We arrived and they took us to a table. I again asked for a booth and luckily there was something available. The booths here offer warmth and comfort while the table seats are cold and unpleasant. Overall a nice visit and enjoyable evening.
