Incredibly disrespectful... can't say I'm surprised considering the Ferrari stereotype. I'll stick with my McLaren.

The Sales Associate inform me that I have an A and B service package available for use. Six months later I used the A service they offered. Now it's time for me to get service B. I called the service department and they said they don't see B service available for me. The service department suggested I contact the Sales Associate and receive clarification. The Sales associate stated, "We gave you B service prior to you purchasing the car!" I stated, that wasn't communicated to me, what was communicated I have available A and B service. So I requested to speak to the manager. The manger stated the same, the B service was already provided and included when you bought the car. "If you don't have it in writing," "I can't do anything for you." "Would you like to buy the service package?" I politely got off the phone with major disappointment. Recognizing Knauz service after purchase is unethical. I would recommend purchasing a vehicle from another Mercedes Benz Dealership. Where you know the level of service will be provided after you purchased their vehicles.

The team (Tim-Salesman & Jason-GM) did reach out to us and apologize; however, Dan Raba, Sales Manager) Who Jason said would get back to me never really did. He played text games like a 12-year-old schoolgirl. Even when I called and left him a message, he never actually called me back. Not what I would expect out of an adult Sales Manager. Dan should be lucky he does not work for me, as he would be gone for his lack of maturity and ability to follow up with customers. Anyways, the Honda of Libertyville Team did pull through in the end by not being able to locate the floormats and purchased a really nice high-end matching Ford Bronco floormat. Better than expected. In all fairness, they initially tried to play the game of we will get you the carpet mats, or if you remove the review, you can get the high-end mats. I explained to them that I'm kind of about principle, in case you haven't noticed. Strong-arming does not work for me. That's not going to happen, in case you can't tell. I said, put yourself in my shoes during this experience, how would you feel? They said point well taken. So in the end, Team Honda of Libertyville pulled through, but they just got off to a really, and I mean really, slow start. In all fairness, without this post, I'm not certain how things would have ended. But they ended well. The End - Semi-Upset Customer ********************************************************************************************************************** I had a terrible experience with Honda of Libertyville and want to warn anyone considering buying a vehicle there. On March 28, 2026, I purchased a used 2024 Ford Bronco from them. When I first saw the car, it had carpeted floor mats and sunroof covers in the trunk. During the financing process, the dealership took the car to "detail" it. When I got home later that day, the floor mats were gone. My son reached out to our salesman, **Timothy Koszczuk**, about the missing mats, and his response was dismissive -- suggesting we "check the we-owe." There was no "we-owe"; the mats were in the vehicle when we bought it, and the dealership misplaced them. I then spoke to the sales manager, **Zeeshan**, who said he'd look into it but never followed up. After that, I emailed the new general manager, **Jason Bulthuis**, on April 1st, 2026. He didn't reply until I called him on April 3rd, 2026. To his credit, he apologized and agreed the situation wasn't handled properly. Jason said he'd have his used-car sales manager, **Daniel Raba**, take care of it, and even offered to buy a replacement set near my home rather than making me drive back. That sounded great -- until they both stopped responding entirely. GHOSTED AGAIN It's now been well over two weeks, and I've received zero communication despite further calls and emails. Every person I dealt with there has failed to follow up or take responsibility (over a lousy set of $150-$200 car mats on a $45,000 car). Once they make the sale, it seems customer service stops completely. I'll never buy from this group again. Do yourself a favor -- take your business somewhere that values integrity and follow-through. Honda of Libertyville has shown me they do not. I hope the owner of Honda of Libertyville (Murgado Automotive Group, led by CEO Mario Murgado) sees this and knows who he has working for him. Absolutely pathetic !!! Tarnishing his trusted name over a few hundred bucks. Just wait until I pay to have a Blow Up Rat placed outside on the sidewalk protesting on a Saturday, how crappy the service is. I wonder how many deals will turn away. Well over $200 worth, I'm sure. The End - One Angry Customer

10 STARS IF I COULD…read more I am writing to share an account of our truly exceptional experience during a recent vehicle acquisition at Karl Knauz BMW, which significantly surpassed our expectations. Last Friday, my husband and I commenced our search for a new luxury vehicle with initial explorations at Audi and Porsche, allowing us to gain preliminary insights into available options. Our subsequent visit to Karl Knauz BMW in Lake Bluff, however, proved to be remarkably distinguishing. We had the distinct pleasure of being assisted by Luke Georgiev, whose expertise and client-centric approach were exemplary from start to finish. He demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge regarding BMW vehicles, readily providing intricate details that often go unmentioned. His consultative style, characterized by genuine support and an absence of sales pressure, was particularly refreshing and greatly valued in today's market. Beyond Luke's outstanding service, the dealership environment itself was meticulously maintained, exuding an atmosphere of professionalism and organization. The entire process felt seamlessly efficient and respectful, perfectly aligning with the high standards one anticipates from a premium brand such as BMW. Following our initial visit, my husband promptly contacted Luke to arrange a down payment, thereby securing our chosen vehicle. He returned over the weekend to finalize the necessary paperwork and complete the vehicle pickup. The concluding stages of the transaction, including our interactions with Freddie in the finance department for documentation and Eddie Meurer from Service for accessories, were all handled with commendable efficiency and professional courtesy. Our overall experience with Karl Knauz BMW was exceptionally positive, and we are thoroughly pleased with both our new vehicle and the impeccable service we received. I wholeheartedly believe they've earned a significant raise/recognition to reflect their exceptional performance.

When you're selling a classic "restored" car, it should not look like a 50 year old vehicle. Gauges not working, turn signals not working, no information on the engine, suspension from the 70s, and there's was more wrong. This place may be ok for newer vehicles. However, if you're looking for a classic vehicle, look somewhere else. UPDATE: Since the reply to my original post wants to try to discredit my concerns, I guess now I'll justify a little more. First, the add no longer says "No expense was spared". Also, now states "older restoration". Looking at the pictures, from the same add mind you, is it 1 of 134 or 1 of 324? A list, or explanation of what was "restored" may help. As far as driving the car. The reply was 100% correct. No restore is perfect. Therefore, even if the body needs some work, you still drive the car. You don't know if gauges work, how the suspension feels, or if there are any wobbles or noises without driving. If it runs excellent, and everything works as it should, you then decide if the investment is worth the money needed to get it to where it needs to be. I'm not going to continue justifying my review. Please, go see the car. I can send you the original add for the car to compare. A more professional response would have been something like. "I'm sorry the vehicle didn't meet your expectations. We pride ourselves in depicting our vehicles in a true, straightforward manner. We will review the add and make any needed changes. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We look forward to doing business with you in the future."
