My watches have always been gifts, But I always told myself when I finally buy my own watch, this is where I'm going. That happened yesterday. I brought a couple of my watches in for batteries and band replacements and started looking around. There's a lot to choose from including Bulova, Citizen, Hamilton, Fossil, Timex, etc just to name a few. I focused on a Bulova. I wasn't sure of what diameter, Although I had an idea because my wrists are a little small. There are several sizes to choose from, I tried on a few to get the feel for them and find the size that worked for me. They were super helpful and accommodating and patient with my fickleness. I've had my diamonds switched before by a jeweler that was in Ventura years ago ANYWAYS. I'm trying to be cool and say do you have a diamond tester machine? It registered diamond but I noticed that the machine clearly says diamond/moissanite on the machine. I asked for another test and the diamond "pen" registered it as moissanite also. The jewelers that were working both said they think it's diamond that I shouldn't be worried about anything. My sales associate suggested I come back again and talk to Robert and he will help me look at my new earrings to make sure everything is ok. What about this is even normal? No human or technology could put me at ease that my earrings /diamonds were in fact mine??? Normally I would just refer to the laser engraving on the girdle of the stone but I chose a bezel setting and it covers it. This shouldn't happen, this is literally their job. Lastly I noticed that on my receipt it says I paid credit card and I paid cash.
