The parking is in front of someone's house which felt a little unusual. It was raining and there was quite a lot of big puddles to navigate to get to the garage door. I gave it four stars because I think there is some places to improve. The tables that you sat at feel little sticky, even after they were cleaned. Maybe a better way to advertise their merchandise. It was over in the corner. I only order one beer in that beer is killer so I think their beer is on point for the one I ordered.

The cidery is looking for another location to relocate to as it sounds like the rent may be getting too steep to stay. I can't say that for sure but at any rate the lease to stay isn't getting renewed. They hope to relocate within Tacoma. I certainly hope it will happen as Tacoma won't have a cider taproom once Incline closes. Apparently they will continue to do production in cans so you can get them at certain grocery stores. I have had a lot of fond memories of coming here to hang out and have their ciders so it will be sad to see it close. I have mixed feelings whenever I hear the relocating statements to breweries and adjacent to the brewery apocalypse are the cideries and how so many are closing due to rising costs and a shift in consumer preferences. Some places do resurface in a new spot and others despite saying they will reappear are never heard from again. I want to be hopeful we will see Incline with a physical location but I also know it's a grim time for the adult beverage industry. So this past weekend 9/19/26 we did one more visit to enjoy Incline's ciders before closure.

My favorite things are that they are dog friendly, let you bring in you own food, and have really good tasting beer blends that add extra flavor and options. They also serve beer, have three TVs that are playing the most popular games, and often partner with the community to host events like book club meetups, paint notes, fundraisers, and parties. For those not beer inclined, they have 2-3 wines, local ciders, and house-made seltzers. They are kid friendly too and have various board games to play to keep entertained. I tried to give him a card and he just said "just let me know how many you've had before you leave, I trust you!". You really feel like you're at some sort of family get together. Oh, and the views of Rainier from the patio are stellar! Unlike almost all other breweries in the PacNW, this one is not stocked chock full of insufferable, apathetic, hipster and post-hipster types. The crowd here is largely blue collar: truckers and farmers, Carhart and coveralls, construction workers and men-at-work signs. Which, again, is refreshing for a brewery. Beer is for everyone, not just beardos at coffeeshops with macbook pros that "work in tech". My only qualm is that I feel like the beer is just OK. They specialize in unfiltered brews, which I like, as it gives a full flavor to most beers you may not get, if they're over filtered, another one of those balancing acts that those workers of brewing magic deal with. I started off with a Amber lager, full tasting with the crispness of a lager, a flavorful change from the usual amber ales. The place had a cool old dudes vibes due to all the memorabilia and the old van in the shop, but definitely wasn't just an old dudes place, as a few of the younger crowd was enjoying a brew while working remote.
