    The new sink and faucets.

    A huge shout out to our customer service rep, Ashlee Rodriguez. On January 24, 2023 we went to Ferguson to purchase a kitchen sink faucet along with a matching RO system faucet. On January 30, 2023 the installation for the new sink and faucet began. The project has been a disaster and nightmare with the contractor. The entire plumbing system had to be reconfigured to go from two drains with the old sink to the one drain new sink. I had to run to a business for the contractor who could not hook up the RO system. I called Ashlee and kept her abreast of the situation. She went the extra mile to provide the plumber with schematics along with the help line number and where we could go for a part. It was a frustrating experience. To date the RO system is not hooked up and we had to purchase a new one. Hopefully this project will be completely completed and functional soon. I want to sincerely thank Ashlee for providing us with all her assistance. She was extremely professional and kept her cool for the many times I had to call her. Thank you Ashlee, your assistance was truly appreciated. It's nice to see, there are people in the workforce who care about their customers.

    Undercapitalized fly-by-night operation with no inventory. You can expect to wait months for delivery then be disappointed when it finally arrives destroyed in shipment. After 2 months waiting for our Miele dishwasher, UPS abandoned what was left of it on our doorstep and drove off. The appliance wasn't even strapped to a skid, looked like it had been pushed out of an airplane. The entire experience of dealing with Ferguson's was nothing but frustration. Save yourself the headaches of dealing with these incompetent shills, and instead purchase from Best Buy or some other retailer with local warehousing that has inventory available for immediate installation. Sure wish we had done that to begin with, even if it meant LG instead of Miele. It's been a couple years now, and the LG has worked-out great and cost 40% less to boot. Took under 24 hours from time of purchase to complete installation by Best Buy.

    Thought they were professional at first, and got the bait and switch. EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE, even talking from the top of the top. I got something that looks disgusting, with greasy oil and liquid bead marks. They said that this is normal. I have ordered many appliances to know that this is not the case. Photos are below, this is considered new to them. What I consider new is the vent packaging below. Same brand diff covering packaging from everything else I ordered. Was concerned about my Package and he basically told me to go away in a sense. GUYS THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR HIGH PRICED ITEMS!!! I will change my review if they apologize for their rudeness. I will write a FULL in depth REVIEW SOON including emails and text messages.

    Damaged Sink

    We went to Ferguson Kitchen and Bath to choose a replacement for our 17 year old Kohler Executive Chef Kitchen Sink. The sink is cast iron with an enamel finish. On June 16, 2020 we placed an order through Ferguson for the same model to replace the existing one because the finish is wearing out. The sink was ordered directly from the Kohler factory because there were none in inventory. Our sales person Terry at Ferguson was knowledgeable and helped us choose the accessories for the sink. The sink arrived in 3 weeks and after the plumber removed the old sink we found that the sink enamel finish was damaged in 2 places. Consequently the old sink was reinstalled and a replacement ordered. 3 weeks later sink number 2 arrived and it had the same type of damage. Once again a replacement was ordered from the factory and after another 3 weeks sink number 3 arrives and it was also damaged. All 3 sinks appear to be damaged by insufficient packaging. The outer and inner boxes were crushed on the corners and the Styrofoam packing around the sink was broken. I realize that the sink is very heavy but the packing and shipping should take that into consideration. After 3 damaged sinks and 9 weeks we were done with Kohler. Our sales person Terry worked with us to order a sink from another manufacturer. One week later the new sink arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend Ferguson if you want professional service. However, the accounting department took two weeks to refund the cost difference between the sinks to my credit card. I posted a review of the Kohler product on their Yelp site with a 1 star review.

    I have owed A-1 this review for a while, but that it's taken me this long to write this may be more…read morehelpful in the end. Because by now I've had the chance to live with the work A-1 has done for some time and I while was ecstatic with the job when it was finished, I'm honestly even happier with it now. Originally, I reached out to A-1 to do the countertops and backsplash of a kitchen renovation. As you can see in the pictures, the backsplash is a mosaic tile and that can be somewhat difficult to work with. But this was no problem at all for A-1. Their attention to detail on both the countertops and backsplash was superb and they turned out amazing. The backsplash is the highlight of the kitchen and everyone who sees it compliments it without fail. Meanwhile, the countertops are perfect, excellent quality, durable, and the perfect choice for the room. My experience with the kitchen tile and stone was so good, I came back to A-1 for a guest bathroom remodel. Again, as you can see from the pictures, this involved a lot of tile. It also involved removing a tub, a door, installing an entirely new sink, and reworking the entire shower. A-1 handled every facet of the job from the planning and install of the shower and all the tile, to bringing in the sub-contractors for the plumbing, drywall, and electrical. And just like those working for A-1, their subcontractors were all professional, highly skilled, and budget conscious. Everything in this bathroom was re-done, the floor, the walls, the toilet, the sink, And from the shampoo box that is now the centerpiece of the room, to framing out the new LED medicine cabinet, the marble tile has turned what was a dark, cramped guest bath into something that is now inviting, open, and a subtle highlight of my home. But best of all, it's functional. I know this because since these jobs were completed near the end of 2022, I have come back to A-1 once again to now remodel my entire master bath. And as that has been going on, I have been living out of this guest bathroom. To me, that's the real test. Not just how it looks in the pictures, but how it lives day to day. And the functionality, especially in such a small space, has really paid off. I cannot recommend A-1 highly enough. Issac has put together a great team and they are one of the unsung gems in town when it comes to all things stone and tile. From helping with the design, to making sure the materials are quality, to securing trustworthy subcontractors, to their attention to detail, I cannot recommend A-1 Design Stone highly enough. And when my master bath is ready to go, I'm confident I'll add another glowing review about that as well. Thank you, A-1!

We've worked with them twice now after leaks led to surprise remodeling projects. Isaac and his team at A1 Stone did an incredible job installing our shower, and they did an exquisite transformation of our kitchen. Isaac listened to our design ideas, helped us refine them, and executed them with superb craftsmanship. He was here every day of the project, either working with his crew or checking on their progress. When we needed to work with other trades, he helped us coordinate them in the right order, and the contractors he recommended for that work were also uniformly excellent. We have more renovations to do - thankfully voluntary - and we will absolutely be doing them with A1 Design Stone!

    IKEA used to be a go-to destination - busy, well-organized, and genuinely fun to browse. Lately,…read morethough, it feels like a shadow of its former self. The showroom feels noticeably empty, both in terms of foot traffic and staff presence. Though the upstairs display walk through areas look decent and recently rearranged/changed, it still feels empty. Where there used to be employees readily available on the floor, you're lucky to spot a few in certain areas. If you're coming in to return or exchange an item, you may casually stand around for a bit until staff comes from the back to tend to that area. Displays of merchandise feel like an afterthought compared to how carefully curated things once were i.e.: a cart full of items vs them being displayed and organized. The biggest disappointment? The cafe downstairs.. I've visited a few times recently and it's been closed or non-operational each time with kiosks showing an error screen or "CLOSED". It used to be a highlight of the whole trip - I'd always look forward to grabbing a little meatball sundae on the way and making an afternoon of it. Instead, I now find myself in a long long line waiting for one of four self-checkout stations to open up.. (the previously staffed registers are no longer a thing and other self-checkout lines are blocked off)..only to look over and see the cafe kiosk dark and unattended. It really takes the joy out of the visit. That said, there are still some redeeming qualities. The as-is section remains a solid find for deals, and apparently you can now shop it online - a nice touch. The space also has free WiFi, so if you're looking for a low-key study spot and the restaurant upstairs happens to be open, it could work for that. Overall, it feels like IKEA is operating with reduced resources, and it shows. I don't follow there business much so I'm not sure if they're struggling but hoping things turn around not only for the customers but for the staff too!
