It's a very small gym. Staff were very friendly, but there is barely any equipment and again, the space is tiny and cramped. The membership is $50 a month ($57 if you include all the fees) which is so outrageous to me and that doesn't even include classes? I don't know, I was very excited by Femme being a women-only space, but I feel like they're abusing that to up-charge women for a gym I wouldn't pay more than $30-35 with their offerings. I would definitely consider returning if they lowered their prices. But compared to other gyms in the area, this just doesn't make sense financially. read more

I used to come to Pham all the time when I used to live in the area. I went here for a few years and enjoyed how protective they are of keeping this women's only environment. Even with the delivery man or with workers who came to fix issues within the building. They were very good about making sure everyone felt comfortable. I did have some issues where the paperwork and the specifics of my contract. We're not always honored. For example, when I moved away, they were trying to charge me however, I had to point out to them a couple times that do the distance I was moving away as per my contract I shouldn't owe anything else. Now it would have been ideal if these were things that they were aware of and not things that I had to remind them of. But overall, I had a very positive experience here. I think if they had increased their hours or offered a more varied selection of gym classes, they could really open up anew Market here. read more

I joined this gym in my venture to find an all women's gym. I give it a 9/10! The staff is amazing & so friendly, the facility is always very clean & they offer robust package options (personal training sessions only, gym membership only, class packs only, or a mix of all the above!). Docking them one point ONLY because the gym is fairly small & it is a bit pricey. I do personal training with the amazing Glenda twice a week and after 4 weeks I already feel a huge difference. cute very small gym! feels really homey and is definitely very clean. I visited because I am looking for a new gym and am new to lifting, and I hate thinking men are looking at me or other women when we're squatting. unfortunately this facility doesn't have a squat rack, or a smith machine, or hip abductor machine, or any big heavy weight equipment really. I think it would be wise for them to invest in more weights for women like me that don't feel comfortable lifting heavy in a male dominated gym. UPDATE: the owner has informed me that she's been meaning to add heavier weights and barbells, a squat rack and smith machine, etc. but of course because of COVID those plans had to be put on pause for the moment. i'm excited to see these changes and will definitely be visiting again once the new equipment comes in! read more

I had been a member of Femme for 9 years and I absolutely loved it, until the management changed recently. Tara was really nice *until* there was an actual issue that needed to be solved. I hate saying it but I have never encountered such an unprofessional and unethical person who crosses all limits for money. I didn't need even a dollar to be refunded, but needed a respectable considerate customer service experience. Not the service where after being a member for 9 years, I am told that she,Tara, only wants members she is "comfortable" with and it's better for me to just "leave the gym." I went for vacation and froze my gym membership for a few months.They lost my freeze form, and kept charging me, which added up to almost $500 on my credit card. When I went to Femme, I was surprised and heartbroken by the way Tara responded by accusing and insulting me (I have witnesses for that). she started writing everything that was coming out of my mouth, (like a lawyer), making it feel like an interrogation, asking me if I was "sleeping for months" because I didn't realize my credit card was being charged. I would have to write an essay if I mention all the things she said, that just shocked me. Long story short, management is polite until you encounter an issue. They will tell you to your face to get out, after a decade of membership. sorry Femme, but people deserve much better if they are paying $65+ every month, instead of $20 in other gyms. read more

I started going to Femme during the pandemic and the environment was always kept clean and safe. The members and the staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Tara the owner always puts the members first in every situation. I am a total Zumba fan and they have the best Zumba instructor and Kim is a superwoman who makes sure to work on every muscle you have in your body. I hated going to the gym before but once I signed up to this gym end of October and I have taken 166 classes because their classes are amazing. read more

An all women's gym? Yes, please! I'm always so shy about working out in front of people, especially doing weight training (since I'm still learning how to properly weight train) so this seemed like the perfect spot. All new equipment. Usually the exercise floor is pretty quiet, most people use the cardio machines. The changing room has an amazing water fountain with easy water bottle refill station. There are two little changing booths with curtains. Yes. Don't have to feel awkward changing in front of every one. Nice clean bathrooms and showers. The lockers are oddly shaped (some are in L formation) but do their job! Remember to bring your lock! But I don't even use the lockers because they have TWO (yes, TWO) group class rooms where there are CUBBIES for you to put your belongings so you can keep your eye on it. Also, this is great for me because I always need my water bottle and inhaler close by (sucks to your ass-mar). If you love group fitness classes, this is the perfect gym for you. Again, everything is new. The one room has a whole barre studio set up with all the equipment you need for a proper yoga or pilates class (they provide the mats but I like to bring my own). The other room is HUGE (spans the whole back of the building) and there are piloxing (pilates + kickboxing + dance), kettlebell fusion (again, equipment is provided), plenty of Zumba classes, Zumba toning (again, provide the sticks for you!), and more! On top of this, all the instructors are AMAZING. Amanda, Nina, Alissa, Carol, Colleen, EJ, I mean, they're just awesome. I love their classes. They all give me such a great sweat and are so super friendly plus encouraging. And knowledgeable. The ladies at the front desk always greet you with a smile and wish you a great day upon leaving. If you have any questions, they got answers! Also, they got some great, fun merchandise up front since they seem to have a partnership with FemmeBot clothing. They got such cute gym shirts (I may have bought a few myself including one that says "all i need is yoga+coffee"). Another perk? The other members are all super friendly and nice. This is the happiest place on earth for me. I love the people, instructors & classes that offer a variety of workouts. Lots of time slots for classes to work around anyone's schedule. I just started working with a personal trainer and am so excited and motivated. Everything is super clean. I take more classes than using the gym equipment but there's plenty of that too. It never gets super busy so you have room even though the gym is smaller than a more commercial chain. The owner and front desk staff are awesome and helpful. i was so happy to come in today to join an all women's gym and literally the second that i walked in, the owner was talking to a woman and they just stared at me for 30 seconds before saying hi. the second that i walked inside, the vibe was already so off and i'm naturally so friendly and bubbly. they took my information and showed me around which was fine as it was standard protocol. nevertheless, it wasn't about their standard protocol, it was more about the ENERGY in the building from the owner (the girl at the front desk was super nice). i workout 5-6x a week (4 years) and i was super ready to join for a 6 month membership where i even had the app downloaded + made a profile days before coming inside to see the business. however, the whole interaction was so weird that i called and told them to delete all my information because i didn't even want to use my free one day pass. afterwards, i went to retro fitness which is one minute away and the women staff at retro fitness were waaay more welcoming, took all my information, followed standard protocol, had so much more equipment, showed me around, lower monthly price for sooo much more, had sooo much space inside, surprisingly wasn't packed with people, etc. it makes me giggle because i went to an all women's gym thinking that it was a "judgement free" zone but i literally went in there and felt MORE judged than ever omg hahahahah (surprised but not surprised). the owner had a weird vibe when i was inside but when i called and told them to delete my entire profile, she was suddenly nice on the phone lol. overall, i would totally recommend retro fitness for women even if you go super early in the morning. retro fitness was packed with happy women everywhere and all smiles honestly but check them out for yourself! i also neverrr write reviews! ‍ read more

FemmeFitness is a beautiful all female gym facility! I been a member since the opening and there's no place like home. The place is clean, spacious, and well maintained. There's a variety of classes-Zumba, Zumba Toning, Strong by Zumba, Kettlebell, Barre, Yoga, Femmebod, and Warrior-just to name a few. The lights in the main fitness room (power studio) make you feel like you are having a party while working out-especially Zumba classes! And to top it all off, instructors, trainers, staff, and members are super friendly and encouraging. I absolutely love Femme Fitness! Pros: All women, great staff, huge selection of classes. I love the ladies that work here. All are very personable and sweet! They take the time out to get to know you by name. I feel like I've been here for years (it's only been 3 weeks) because they greet me by name every time I walk through the door. Abby is the best Zumba instructor ever!! I've attended the weekend warrior class with Kim and she definitely gets your weekend started! Nina is the sweetest, I've never been to her Zumba class (yet) but I hear she is great as well! She's also (on her own will) helped me on the floor better myself on the machines. The front desk ladies (Tinasha and I forget the other young lady's name with the long curly/wavy ponytail) are also amazing. Again.. I know joining was the right decision, I love it! Cons : if only the hours could be a little earlier and a little later. I could get more morning workouts in if they opened at 5/5:30 vs 6am. The close time of 9pm Monday thru Thursday , I can work with (although 10pm would be better).... I just wish Friday's were a little later considering I get off at 6, I can't make it there and complete a workout by 7. The weekends I wish they were open until 4 or 5 at least. However.... Putting myself in the shoes of a worker there, I completely understand the importance of getting off work sooner than later! One other con is not many machines. So far so good, I've never had an issue getting on a machine when I wanted to, however there are plenty of times I get the last machine left so I'm sure one day I will have an issue with no machines available when needed. I've been at FemmeFitness for almost 5 months and this place just keeps getting better. I cannot fathom why there are ANY reviews less than 5 stars for FF. The community here is wonderful and amazing. I'm going to speak candidly here: I'm an eating disorder survivor so gyms can be incredibly overwhelming for me. From the second I walked in the door at FemmeFitness and signed up for a membership to now, I have felt nothing but support from all the women that come to classes at this gym and from the staff. My personal trainer understands my background and makes sure that I am eating and training appropriately and responsibly. For a woman with 15 years of struggling with an ED in her history, this is HUGE for me. I can't express my gratitude enough for the community that exists here. I would have never even thought about becoming a certified Zumba instructor if Nina hadn't mentioned it during one of my first weeks attending FemmeFitness classes. The encouragement to grow and stay strong together at FemmeFitness makes this community second to none. I cannot recommend this gym enough. I truly enjoyed this gym for the first few months that I attended. Everyone "was" super friendly. I had an amazing personal trainer and really enjoyed a few classes and most importantly working out on my own. Shortly after joining I noticed the constant revolving door of fitness trainers/class leaders and office staff. The energy quickly shifted and now the greetings were always attached to an UP SALE! I.E. "So happy to see you... did you know we have a new trainer, would you like personal one on one training? Did you know we have 10% off clothing, why not try the small personal training classes... why not try..." This gym was no longer a good fit for me and I have been trying unsuccessfully for the past month to CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP! Two closed door meetings with a "manager" person, I filled out a lengthy form explaining why I'd like to cancel and a week later I received a very contentious phone call from someone named Susanne. She insisted that I explain in detail (again) why I'd like to leave the gym... along with an offer of a free training session. I just want to leave! I was also told that the only person I could discuss this issue with was Susanne as the owner "did not deal with daily operations stuff". I am still receiving a monthly charge to my account from FemmeFitness! BUYER BEWARE!! If you don't mind being badgered while working out and believe in signing up in perpetuity, go for it! read more

First found out about FemmeFitness from the Yelp Event here (Zumba Strong). Decided to come back and have been trying the group classes for about ~1 week now and I just love everything about FemmeFitness. A female-only gym that is totally not like LR or C**v3$. The studio classes are pretty much like dance parties. There are lots of fun group class sessions happening here throughout the week such as Barre, Yoga, Zumba, and what have you. The instructors are super helpful and encouraging. My body is super inflexible and I used to dread group classes because I'm so "bad". But here at Femme it's just a totally different feeling. Everyone is at different pace and we're all trying :) This place is super clean and perfectly designed for women. The staff are super nice and friendly. Even though it's a 10-15 mins drive from where I live, I'm always looking forward to go back. Word of advice for the Yoga and Barre sessions: sign up for the sessions ahead of time since they fill up quickly and the space is kind of limited for now. read more

I specifically joined for the yoga classes, but then fell in love with Zumba. In addition to these 2 classes, I also participate in small group training and personal training. So the gym is beautiful and clean buttttt I was looking for a new place to go to group classes , I tried this place twice . They failed to tell me that I could pay for classes without having a membership ( because they wanted me to pay a membership instead of 8- 10 dollars classes every time I want to work out ) also when I was talking to the women at the front desk she basically said to me why am I here cus my body is so tight and looks good but not in a nice way like a "why r you here way " strike 1 . Second class I went to the trainer was 10 mins late almost and then came in and said oh wow there's only 3 of you here we'll have to cut the class short that's the "rule" (excuse me your kidding ) and then stood in front of me the whole class so I couldn't even see in the mirror if I was doing it right (like really ) . Strike 2 . They repeated called me on 3 different occasions to say "hi your new I know you've never been here do you wana come in for a free class , we saw you signed up via email " when I have been there twice already strike 3 . Also the first time I went the two front desk women were talking about a trainer for the group classes and also personal training that she never shows up / when she does she doesn't do her job , as a new paying customer (me) is sitting right there ‍. I had such high expectations for this place I wanted to call it my new home buttttt I'll just stick with my other place cus they treat me better and I actually get what I pay for even tho it is 33 dollars a class . A huge plus for me is they are open till 9 and have late classes. Classes are included in your membership. I am really happy with this gym so far. The classes are really engaging, which is important because that is their focus. I pay around 55 a month for the premium membership so I can book classes ahead of time. I take several barre classes, yoga and pilates which would cost a lot more at a studio. My only complaint is that they don't have a stair master machine in the workout area. Otherwise, the facilities are very clean and the energy here is positive.
