I feel so fortunate to be within walking distance of this coffee bar, because a) the coffee is great, b) they often have soy whipped cream, c) they have vegan donuts, and d) they are all so friendly and play great music. My favorite coffee place. This no-frills outdoor cafe offers consistently delicious drinks, pastries, and other snacks, as well as really friendly staff all at such reasonable prices. Fellini's provides the most delicious and most affordable latte around ($3.55 for a 12 oz, as of July 2019)!! I'm not sure if he was trying to impress the young woman he was working with or not but he wasn't polite. First of all, the baristas are a very friendly bunch. They try to memorize everyone's drinks to the point I don't have to tell them anymore. They really seem to care and take pride on the coffee that they make. It's a very nice local business, and the owner is also very friendly. The music that they play varies but it is always very good. The designs on the lattes, mochas and other drinks that they make are superb. Their assortment of pastries is very vegan friendly, and delicious. This is a nice place to sit down, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee with family or friends. 5/5 stars. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. I am always tempted to stop by in the mornings on my way to work for delicious, fresh biscotti and the best lattes I've had outside of Peet's or Caffe Trieste. The coffee is smooth and strong, temperature is just right (never lukewarm) and they have cinnamon and nutmeg shakers available (along with all sorts of other goodies to add, if that's your style). Not to mention yummy pastries...definitely need to try their vegan donuts. Their mexican mocha is also incredible, not too sweet. It is not an overstatement to say a Fellini latte will make your day! read more

When we moved, I wanted to be close to this place because on the rare morning I do get coffee on my way to work I like going here. They have lots of vegan pasteries and their coffee is solid. I typically get a 3PSoyL - aka a triple shot plain soy latte. It works. The crew is always on point and friendly and it's what a coffeebar should be like. read more

The chai and the employees here are awesome! I don't visit often, but if money were no object, I'd have a soy chai (hot, iced, or frappe - all awesome) every day! They actually make their own base/mix, so it has real cardamom and other spices. read more

Just an all around great little spot. Unpretentious little building - orders placed through a walk-up window. This is not your cool hipster coffee shop with local art on the walls, indie music playing and tattooed baristas. It is also not where you should plan to spend your day nursing a mug of coffee and writing a paper. It's a place to grab and go, or sit briefly, though you'd be sitting mostly in a parking lot. But if you go there with the expectation that it is exactly what it is - a coffee cart to grab coffee - it is lovely. The people are friendly and the coffee is good. read more

Last Saturday morning I drove by on my way to Bart and realized I had a few minutes to spare! So why not get coffee on my way to work? I pulled in and walked up to the window. I waved like, "oh, thank goodness you're here!" The two girls working looked at me and one snapped and said "We open at 7." and turned around. It was 6:56. My train left at 7:06 so I had to leave because they wouldn't serve me before 7... Their coffee is good but I'm not paying $3 a cup for that kind of service. read more

Been here the past two days as my daughter attended orientation at Cal. Pleasant service both days by different individuals. Must have is the blueberry cheese Danish! This is a cute place right off of University Ave. There is plenty of parking that you don't have to pay at the meter! #winner the staff is very friendly and pretty fast. I ordered an iced coffee and really enjoyed it ( I always order this if I have never been to the place before) The only thing that would be a downer is if it rains because you have to stand outside in line. I absolutely love their Mexican mochas. They do take awhile to perfect, so be patient. I stopped for one this afternoon, and the one barista had her hands more than full: register was down so it was cash only, there was a bit of a line, and I ordered one of the more complex drinks. She got a bit of help halfway through. He must be either the owner or manager, but either way, their drinks are great, service friendly and upbeat. read more

I like this place in terms of location and parking. The coffee is not the best, and their cappuccino is 90% foam, but the waitresses are typically nice and I like being outside when it's sunny. They should add more tables and chairs though, especially cause in the afternoon they are all under the shade. read more

Amazing coffee and esspresso! Quickly became my favorite stop for a latte in Berkeley. They use the good milk (none of the Berkeley Farms weird stuff the rest of the coffee shops in town use). High quality, fast service, and it's fun to sit at the tables outside. read more

I go here a good few times a week on my way to the Bart station. Consistent quality for their latte- I judge a coffee place by how well they foam their milks- and this place does it right. Smooth like velvet. Great selection of pastries including a delicious roasted veg quiche which is to die for-as well as a colorful array of vegan doughnuts. Great work! read more

For many years I worked as a barista at a high end coffee shop on the East coast. I was a coffee addict and a coffee snob. The years have passed and I've realized that Coffee is not a good substance for me to consume and caffeine makes me a little agro and anxious. That being said--I do love a good cup of decaf from time to time. It's been hard because as a former barista and still coffee snob, decaf usually tastes like crap no matter how you cut it. Not here. This morning I had the best decaf latte I think I've ever had in my life. The milk was the perfect temp and texture--not burned and I'm sure that was a 22 second espresso shot because it tasted like the real thing. Thanks Fellini's for bringing me back to the days of excellent coffee drinks without the anxiety that regular coffee produces! read more

I love Fellini! The lattes are out of this world, and the regular coffee is damn good too. everybody who works there is great, and after going maybe 5 times, they start to know who you are. My favorite coffee outing: wake up not too late on a Saturday or Sunday and walk over to Fellini. Pray they have veggie quiche left (these are amazing, I am going to urge you to try them, but hope that you don't because I want them all for me!). Order a 8 oz single latte, a veggie quiche (hopefully) and sit on their lovely patio and enjoy this perfect combo. What could be better? read more

I usally to go to Fellini's everyday. Until recently I use to get a vegan scone twice a week. Over the last few times I got one, it was stale, and not eatable. I spoke with what seem to be a manager there, and told him about my experience. He basically responded that I should heat it up in the microwave next time. I believe this is a bad customer experience, and I will never go back there again. read more
