This little coffee shop is very modern and homey. I love the ambiance of the place. It also supports the local artists by hanging their artwork for sale. The workers are extremely friendly; they are very knowledgeable in their coffee too. You just vaguely describe what you want and they got you. For example, I stopped by on a cold day and was already somewhat caffeinated. The worker suggested a latte that she specially made so that I would be warm but not overly caffeinated. Twas perfect whatever she made. I also liked that you can sit and do work on the back side of the building or pick from the many choices of games and just relax and have fun. This place has a great atmosphere, great coffee smell as you walk in makes you want to get a cup the minute you walk past the door. If the smell doesn't get to you, then the desserts they have displayed will. If coffee is not your fancy , she also has a great selection of tea's for you to peruse also. As you walk in this quaint cafe you are greeted by the owner of 'Fiene a young lady named Daniela, who by the way is super friendly. That is a great quality I feel where the owner makes you feel as comfortable as possible when you visit. They have this big board of all these great creations of coffee with flavors that will make your taste buds go crazy. Daniela asks what your preference is , if you would want an extra shot of espresso , to the most popular selections. Got to love that , a hot cup of goodness made the way you would enjoy. So far with my visits I am a fan of 2 of her selections, a Coconut Mocha and the Creme Brulee'. The Creme Brulee is delicious, sweets rich flavor in which your taste buds will thank me. Now the high seller, the popular kid on the chalk board is the "Coconut Mocha" Now you just read how I enjoyed the Creme, as of now the Coconut Mocha is an instant hands down winner. Daniela makes this flavorful cup with bits of coconut inside, with the mocha flavor combined with the coconut... Heaven I say... Heaven. As of now or the next visit I will have to try some of her other flavors she has posted up on her board. It will not be an easy task seeing I am already hooked on one. She also offers a coffee card, for every 10th purchased your 11th is free.. oh yea, that's what I'm talking about. I accept your challenge young lady! They also have pastries, biscotti for you to indulge in with freshly baked amaretto cake, chocolate filled croissant, danishes etc.. any of those with a cup of coffee / cappuccino and we are screaming winner. She will also be experimenting with a lunch time sandwich , almost like a melt. Yes but wait this gets better this isn't your ordinary melt, this is a peanut butter, jelly and get this NUTELLA concoction. I told her I would gladly be her test subject in her efforts to find that perfect combination. Hey me and Nutella go way back , this being in a PB&J I am in like a fat kid to a cupcake. Not to exclude the people who still love a great pastry they also offer a "Gluten Free" selections with cookies,bagels, etc.. Now mind you I love coffee, coffee shops, especially unique establishments that shows you that there is just more than a hot or cold cup of goodness. I found out that every month Daniela will show displays of different artist with their art work they put on display from paintings to sculptures. That's is pretty cool I thought, helping out artist to be, or just looking at different types of art while enjoying a great cup. Great little shop, great friendly owner, comfortable settings with an infatuation for owls. She likes owls, and has placed them throughout her shop. I was up in the area for a work offsite and I got up early every morning to get my butt over to this quintessential coffee shop to indulge my caffeine addiction. Everything here is made in house with love and attention to detail, they truly bring high quality to all who enters tongues. I am and will miss once I drive back home, their cold brew Vietnamese Coffee and the Mint, Lemon-infused Green Tea which are across from the counter in their cold storage. They come in the best glass container that have screw-tops. They also have a bunch of food items and pastries along with the all the coffee and tea offerings. The whole vibe of the shop is small-town welcoming, you feel like you are in someone's home and they are extremely happy to have you there visiting. The shop is deceptively deep too, there's the main area that leads back to plenty of seating and eventually ends with a back door to a cute patio. If I lived here, I'd be here almost everyday. I arrived in Conshy for a project a few months ago and immediately went on the coffee hunt. After trying a few places that will not be named where the coffee could be a substitute for rat poison, I was directed to 'feine. From my first step through the door I could tell that this was the type of coffee shop up my alley. Matcha, almond milk, chai, and all the other buzzwords you want to see on a well crafted chalk board in a coffee shop. The owner is passionate about her coffee selections and sources appropriately (like actually goes to coffee conventions and stuff). Lots of good gluten free options as well as a pretty dope (not healthy) ham and cheese croissant if you have earned yourself a few calories. The shop has character and the little things here make you feel welcomed such as the white wooden barricade blocking off the dish sink, the organized chaos of the empty frames on the wall, the water jug on the mantle, and the Rx bars in their little wooden basket just to name a few. I always like what they do with the little slogans on the board. Glad I found 'Feine because it fueled my morning survival these past few months. The people here were really nice which is why I decided to give this place three stars but the coffee was just not good at all. I couldn't even finish the iced latte I bought it was just that bad. As far as location it's on a main road in Conshohoclen, very easy to find. Parking was easy to come by. They have an outside dining patio for those looking to get some fresh air with their coffee. From the first glance it would seem that the cafe is small but when you walk towards the back there are multiple spaces for seating. Just in town for a day visiting friends when I decided I needed to get some work done but didn't want to end up at ANOTHER starbucks. In comes 'feine ! First, the name is very clever and helps to distinguish the place among the many coffee shops in town. The best part about feine was the hours. On a Saturday they were open until 7 pm which allowed me to get stuff done but forced some time to enjoy nearby philly. The true highlight was their service. I should've caught the name of the barista who took my order. She was incredibly nice and helped me when I didn't know what I wanted. She suggested the honey lavender espresso latte. Wow!!! I was skeptical at first but fell in love after the first sip. It's not too sweet and has just enough vanilla and lavender to warm you up on a cold Feb afternoon. Went here twice. It's gonna be my new "pit stop" after a visit to Ikea, which is just a few miles away. They have a back outdoor area if there aren't enough seats inside or if you want to have a conversation. (It seemed everyone was studying or working inside the seated area.) I debated on four stars because the muffin was kind of dense/dry, but this place wins five stars because of their free WiFi and cozy atmosphere with friendly staff (love the owl decor!!) and, probably the creamiest dirty chai (hot) I've ever had. So yeah, I don't rule them out for one dry muffin because it was vegan and I know the texture isn't always the same as the butter filled muffins I'm used to. She should stop having business meeting in front of customers. Get yourself an office. Customers can not enjoy their coffee, if the owner is in lounge area complaining about her staff, constantly talking on her phone, and/or generally being rude to customers. Place is worth going to. A little off the main part of Fayette Street most people are familiar with. Travel just 5 minutes down the road and you will find this place. Great specialty espresso drinks and a big pastry selection. The 'everything turnover' was outstanding. I've never seen one before (mind you I'm not on Pinterest). It was a phyllo dough turnover that you would expect be filled with some sort of fruit jam but instead it had 'everything seasoning' on it and was filled with chive cream cheese. I'm a bit torn about how to rate 'feine. It gets somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. On the one hand, the space and service are great. It's cozy, warm, and nice for sitting with a friend or working in the sunlit rooms in the back. (Free wifi and plugs to boot!) Plus the baristas are just chatty enough to be friendly without being intrusive and annoying. The drinks, though, are just so so. Their menu has many inventive options and I've gotten the chai and the honey lavender latte, which both were cloyingly sweet and not particularly memorable. I always get a large iced tea, they let you pick two different types of tea (I do English breakfast and mango) then brew them together and then add the ice and it's delicious!
