We ordered delivery, which came in a reasonable amount of time. Main complaints are that the Crab Rangoon pieces was practically empty inside. If we wanted fried wonton, we would have ordered that. Then the crispy noodles are gross. Seem like things they order in bulk instead of making in the restaurant. Don't think we would order again from them. I've always liked their Chinese food. I think it's some of the best in the city and the prices are great. The only thing I would say negatively is they changed their steamed dumplings from super doughy ones to wontons. :( read more

This was a really good place to eat when they first opened a few years ago, but once they built a customer base they became very stingy with their portions. I love the mongolian beef but lately it has been almost entirely onions and literally 2 or 3 small pieces of beef. Not worth the price. I wish I could upload the pic I took of my last meal. We just moved to a new area and I am always hesitant to order chinese delivery. The only way to find out if it will be good is by checking it out. I had ordered over Grubhub and I'm not sure if that slowed down the delivery however I'm sure next time I will call on the phone. The food arrived in about the time that Grubhub said it would and it was very great! I had ordered something called Noodles Peking style. I know that I like Peking duck so I thought I'd give it a try for just over $5 it was a HUGE bowl of noodles. They were very tasty too. I also loved that my combination plate was good too. There wasn't so much sauce on my chicken that it completely obliterated the rice. I think the fried dumplings could have been fried just a tiny bit more but overall the food was good and the driver was super friendly so I was very happy with my order and I will be ordering again. read more

I called about 30 minutes before close on a Friday night for a carry-out order. The gentleman who answered the phone was extremely friendly and made sure to tell me that there was an additional charge for fried rice with my meal. I got the General Tso's Tofu, which was absolutely delicious. The gentleman on the phone confirmed that I knew where their location was and told me it would be ready in 10-12 minutes. The order was done right on time, and I'll definitely be going back here in the future. One word: FINALLY! Finally, there is a decent Chinese place around here! After trying the worst around here and Speedway I was about to give up! But.. what's life without Chinese takeout? I ordered the General Tso's.. YUM though I ordered Mild (you never what there version of mild is) and it wasn't the most flavorful/spicy. Went here for the first time as grub hub gave me a valuable coupon. I ordered the general tso, steamed dumpling and chicken mei fun (thin noodles). I figured it would have been like any other chinese take out restaurant but I was wrong. Food appeared freshly made almost. The General Tsos was lightly battered/not soggy, steamed dumplings had no frozen taste to it (wanted to be healthy over the fried ones), and the thin noodles were light as well. All this was a bit over 20$ without no coupon and all had large portions. They do have healthy options if you wanted. I would say this is as good as it gets in terms of take out (they also have roasted duck as well which is not usual). Can't compare them to the dim sum spots on Lafayette but thats a different market altogether. Better than Best Taste on campus but not too far a drive. It's worth it. read more

Ok I see a lot of good reviews about this restaurant. I got my food delivered and it took forever. I ordered the garlic beef, vegetable rice, and the shrimp egg roll. The garlic beef only had a little beef in it it was mostly vegetables. The vegetable rice was made with white rice and not very blended together it tasted awful it was so bland and unappealing. The fortune cookie was either stale or undercooked either way I could bend it and it was hard it felt like rubber. It was my first and last time ordering from here. read more

Plenty of food and yummy. I got the fried dumplings, pork fried rice, and sesame Chicken. The dumplings had a thicker dough but that worked in their favor for soaking up the flavorful dipping sauce. The pork fried rice was fresh and very tasty. The sesame Chicken was really good. It was not overly fried and good meat. Anytime that I'm ordering Chinese food I choose Fei Da, honestly they aren't the best but they are consistent and reliable. You know what you're expecting and that's better than spending a lot of money somewhere else for a meal that you definitely don't like. They used to have this delicious broccoli that was served in a sweet sauce but it's since been removed from their menu. So now I'll typically order egg foo young, general tso's chicken, and boneless spare ribs. If you're looking for a quick pretty ok bite to eat that of Chinese cuisine I'd recommend this place. If you're wanting to sit down somewhere nice and have a great dining experience I would say do a little more research. The inside is not well decorated, the tables and chairs aren't consistent and the floor looks dingy. The parking is also very limited, maybe 3-4 spots because they're located right on the corner so it's a bit tricky. read more

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit how often I order from here? Single life!!! Chinese takeout can be a scary, nearly-shit-yourself experience so I'm here to say: you're safe! Anyway, this is probably some of the best Chinese takeout I've had in Indy. I can't speak for the meat options, but the fact they they have several vegetarian options that include protein is already a step above most takeout spots. I think we're all aware of OrderUp's insane delivery charges, but luckily dropping $20 for what you think is 1 meal actually ends up being like 2-3 meals thanks to Fei Da. Us college folks can appreciate that! The egg rolls are good too, I usually get the shrimp. The Tofu Family Style (fried bean curd much like inari and a ton of veggies) with veggie Lo Mein is my go to. One thing I can say about location is: I have no idea what it looks like! Never been there in person haha. Not yet at least. Important thing is: food is hot AND fresh, and you won't be calling into work the next day with a debilitating bellyache. read more
