I show Kayti different photographs of what I'd like and she uses them all to create a beautiful, shiny, and unique color... somehow making it more beautiful than all of the pictures combined. She and Jen always look like they have so much fun creating what I want! Kayti is honest about the processes, too, telling me if something will cause damage based on what im asking for now, my past hair processes, and hair type. She has skill, training, experience and a great personality. She doesn't talk down to you or make you feel like you're not cool enough to be there. HACK JOB. It's my fault, I had a pretty busy week so I put…read moreoff getting a haircut until the last minute and went in on a Friday afternoon asking for my dead ends to be cut and my hair to be shaped back to what it was. Literally nothing special or different. Well she sprayed my hair down with a water bottle not even washing it and I should have known then. She hacked off so many layers, it was so choppy and horrible. I had my ends rounded and she cut one HALF so sharp it was like a V. My hair wasn't even the same length on each side! I don't have super thick hair but when I left I definitely felt it so thin which again I didn't ask her to cut much length off or layers so why if I put it in a high pony was it so much thinner? She kept checking with me with each decision and like don't you know how to do your job? She seemed very unconfident in her ability and well it definitely showed. I was in shock and just paid and left immediately calling better salons around and the following morning I had to get 2 more inches cut off and styled back to something not embarrassing. How she let me walk out that door with a smile on her face is beyond me. Also their "Ricky Bobby" skit is pretty terrible. I wish I had enough money so I could put a fake name in the system to look booked and not actually work. Silver lining is I went to a different REAL stylist the following day and my hair is mid length now but much nicer. The stylist told me that for front face angle bang pieces you don't cut behind the ears and the girl at Cost cutters definitely did.
