Just a great cut at a good price not a salon wash your hair and charge you 50 dollars plus tip

I've been getting my hair cut at Star Barber shop for over 45 years. Although Enzo is now retired and it's been a long time since Tony or Karl worked here, you still get a good men's haircut done right. The service is quick, no frills, and the cost is reasonable. I've tried other barber shops closer to home, but I still commute 40 minutes to get it done here. read more

I just got a haircut at Star Barber shop. When I walked in, I noticed that Brett and Tommy had been 'replaced' by (I later learned) Paul and Lori. Apparently Brett did not have the 'right stuff' to operate a business -- a different skill set from cutting hair. I decided to 'give it a go' and Lori cut my hair. She did a good job, too. Very detail oriented and when I got home my wife said, "Your haircut is pretty good!". In fairness to the new owners -- and yes, Enzo is still working his chair in the AM only -- you may want to check out the new barbers (Paul and Lori) because they seem to be a smart response to what turned out to be a difficult situation under Brett's leadership. He's gone and I wish him well. Now, it's time to move on and give the new guys a chance to prove themselves to you. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! read more

10/10 barber shop. People, atmosphere, haircuts are all exceptional. Overall enjoyable experience every time I walk in. On my first visit I came hours after receiving a terrible haircut, and my hair was absolutely butchered. Not only did they fix it, but they did so free of charge. That is just one example of the top of the line guys that cut hair within the shop. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a cut! read more

Update: The once great decor of the paisley wallpaper of the 70's is now gone. It looks bare in there now. Brett is no longer there, which is a good thing. A new guy named Paul and some lady named Laurie are now working there. Paul is a nice guy, not sure about Laurie. But overall, the shop is a shadow of what it used to be. Not sure what this new owner is thinking, but I'm not sure if I'm going back there. read more
