Welcome/Greeting: 3 stars I was immediately greeted and checked in but she called me by another name at first and did not give any other welcome or orientation. Relatively clean and functional but only one toilet and no "amenities" like other waxing centers might have. No complaints but no bonus points either Service and service provider: 5 stars Kristin is wonderful and there is something amazing about EWC wax. Less pain than other facilities. Don't get me wrong, it's not a walk in the park but definitely better. And I have less irritation and recovery time after coming here. Check out: 5 stars Smooth and easy. I also love their products and did get something to take home with me for maintenance. Zero sales pressure, which I appreciate. Price: 4.5 stars on par with other facilities and maybe a bit cheaper than some. But you do see it with the little things. Julie was so warm and welcoming and wasn't scared by my issues (like I was). The salon itself is very cool, with tons of different beauty vendors located inside. The Waxing Spot is located in the back and has a little sign outside of its pocket door. The owner was kind and does all of the waxes herself. She's been doing it for over ten years and is super efficient. Important note: they do big strips of wax at once to get the hair off quickly. This is a quick and efficient way to do waxing, but is also more painful. If it's your first wax ever, I'd say go to a place that does the small pieces of wax for an hour or so (takes a while but helps ease the pain), but everyone else will love it here. After waxing, she also used tweezers to make everything perfect and it was clear she cares about her work. Thank you!

I scheduled again with Jomar this week. He did not disappoint!! Deep tissue this time was perfect. (This makes me feel all sorts of feelings! Why can't things stay the same and continue forever and ever?) However, nothing is forever, darling. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. Indy Massage Company is one of my favorite places in Indy, and I continue to love visiting this place when I can.
