This is as good as it gets, Mayette is a real healer. I went with rotator cuff issues and a thrown out back and both times I have walked out of their healed and fixed up. Not only is Mayettes consultation chart thorough but so is her massage! Nice building, excellent room location, cute decor, thorough consultation, good music, great massage. She really listens and feels where you are in pain. Her nails are trimmed done perfectly so her pressure is perfect with slow deeper tissue. She is immensely knowledgeable about the body so if you feel pain in a certain area, she might work from a different attachment sight to help release the area. She makes you feel safe, comfortable and relaxed on the table. Her energy is great and she's so genuinely nice. She has the perfect amount of dim lighting, comfortable bedding, and a nice heating pad. She even has a Thai area for Thai massages. Her massages are worth the $, unfortunately at this time, I just don't have the $ to see her as often as I'd like. Getting a massage is one thing, but getting a massage that is catered to your needs by someone who truly knows what they are doing is another thing. I went in thinking I knew what type of massage I wanted/needed, but Mayette was very concerned with knowing what I wanted to accomplish by getting a massage and that led to a different massage that was better for my purpose. AND, the massage she recommended was less than the one I initially wanted. She could have just gave me what I wanted and made more money, but she didn't. That says a lot. I recommend her to anyone. I was in an accident and my whole body ached. I was confined to my bed for a period of time then having to use a wheelchair and my muscles had atrophied. I had so much pain in my entire body but specifically my lower back, shoulders and hip area. It was difficult to lay down or sit comfortably. It was awful. I went to one of the massage places advertised on yelp that had many good reviews. The girl had no idea how to massage the pain away, it was a waste of time, energy and money. Through conversation, I found Mayette...and relief. From entering her door, I was immediately welcomed. Her place is quiet, calm and soothing just as she is. Mayette asks what's going on and listens - really listens when you say this hurts or this is sore. She is sincere when she says she will help ease the pain away. She has this incredible way of laying her hands on you and locating pain, following it and finding the source and working it out of you. Mayette is extremely knowledgable with the human body, she knows where the tendons and muscles are and how to stretch or work out the tension, knots or what have you, that causes you pain or irritation. She was able to work my atrophied muscles so I could bend, move, sit and lay with comfort. I went home feeling like I never was in an accident and that feeling lasted several days - to my amazement. My accident was a bad one and being confined to a wheelchair was tough. My body would quickly atrophy and I would see Mayette and Feel Better. As my body healed, I "graduated" to crutches and new muscles or lack of, would start hurting. I can honestly say there is no one other than Mayette who I would trust with my broken bones, to fix my aches and pains. After reading previous reviews, I decided to call and schedule an appointment. Mayette assured me Regina would provide excellent service. WOW, was she spot on. Regina is friendly, knowledgeable, and listened to my needs before jumping in to the massage. A few minutes into Regina exploring my neck and shoulder issues, I mentioned I was open to trying cupping to get the relief I need. After a few minutes of work she stepped out and returned with the cups. Thank goodness! She used the cups and her magical hands to give me more relief in 90 minutes than I've received in 8 months. really bad customer service and client relation. I bought a mothers day gift for my mom to get a massage for one hour and my mom showed up a little bit late (office is extremely difficult to find). The owner claimed my mom had to be there 20 minutes earlier but the owner never told my mom that....she claimed she sent her an email and when i asked her she sent the email to the wrong person...should have followed up with a phone call or text.. The owner decided that my mom should only get a 30 minute massage and did not credit her back the other 30 minutes or tell her to come back another time. She claimed she didnt have time to finish her hour massage because she had to change the sheets...which takes like 2 minutes to do..didn't even offer my mom to come back for the remaining 30 minutes or give half of a refund..showed no care for the client, just wanted money, which ended up costing her me as a client, my mom and the array of people i know that i could have referred her. read more
