My wife got me a massage voucher to get worked on because I workout often and haven't had one in a long time. I had trouble finding the location and attempted to call and text the number with no success. Once I finally found the door, the woman came out and asked who I was and I told her. From there I had to fill out paperwork that was suppose to be attached to an email or on their website but wasn't there. After going over the papers, the owner I presume asking me questions about me getting the appointment booked, and then allowed me to change. My massage was cut 16 minutes and I opted to suction cup and stretching Info that I never got spoken to about, asked or received no info. read more

I was 10 days post-op (360 liposuction) when I visited Mayette for a Lymphatic Drainage Massage. Prior to my visit, I had a lot of painful knots on my sides. During the massage, she was very gentle and catered to my problem areas. I thought "man.. this massage is too gentle, I don't think it's going to work." BUT! The VERY NEXT DAY all of my knots were gone! I started shrinking in waist size IMMEDIATELY! The results were unbelievable to me. I cannot wait to go back for another massage. Mayette texted me the next day to see how I was doing, her welcoming atmosphere made it 100x better! I would highly recommended to anyone! She is passionate in what she does and is very knowledgeable. read more

I went there today and instantly I felt at ease. I walked in and I felt relaxed already. I went in for a cupping session for my left thigh. I had some tingling and numbness and after the session I have not had those symptoms come up again since I left. I honestly feel I can sleep on my back again just laying flat and not have any discomfort! read more

Mayette is absolutely wonderful! She took her time to explain things and answer all my questions. I felt much improvement, and loved her table! Mayette is very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does - which is helping people feel better! read more

WOW! Amazing! Just moved into town and looking for a new massage therapist. It was between Feel Better and another place. I am no massage rookie and have the ability to experience services from my travels around the world. I weightlift and do Crossfit and so massage is a must! I ended up going to the other place and was left underwhelmed and wanting more. So, I called Mayette and got me in right away with her. Started with a very thorough consultation and laid down the rule of communication with her during the session, which I love! She is so incredibly soothing to talk to! From hearing her talk about the muscle, she seems to know what she is doing.......BUT, when she started the session, I knew she knows exactly what she is doing. She is like a muscle whisperer! She felt pains I didn't even know was there! She felt them before I did as she says something about it before I even feel it. I came in tense and left relaxed and fulfilled. It was a blend of relaxation and physical therapy; a fusion of holistic and science. She knows muscle sinews and which way to massage them. She knows trigger points and harmoniously balanced me out. A definite returning customer! read more

Mayette did a great job. I had battled a lingering cold and had an upcoming surgery date. She gave me a Pre Surgery Lymphatic Drainage Massage. I felt huge steps better the next day. In fact, I felt much better each day after till my surgery date. Then my surgery date passed. I had an appointment with Mayette for a Post Surgical Lymphatic Drainage Massage. I limped in slowly. She has a very experienced touch. She knew what needed to be done, and did so with a magical touch. I trust her. I had family helping me in my recovery with best intentions, but always a poke or an oops, sorry touch. She really knows how to touch and massage a wound, to stimulate healing and avoid scar tissue. read more

I had surgery in La Jolla, and my surgeon suggested lymphatic drainage massage. I had it done in La Jolla once, but it was too far for me. I am so glad I found Mayette at Feel Better Integrative Wellness. She is excellent and very knowledgeable. I definitely saw an improvement with just one treatment. I will be going back for more. I highly recommend her. read more

Came here for a prenatal massage and it was top notch! Probably the best I've had. My therapist was Claudia. She was very kind and listened to my needs. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable. I will certainly be coming back here as often as I can. Great find, hidden gem. read more

So I came to this business twice for lymphatic massages post op to feel it out and give it a fair chance. The first time I noticed that the owner & woman who does the lymphatic massages does come off a bit strong, bold and opinionated and lets you know how she feels and this could be a deterrent for some. She was adamant about my food choices when I mentioned my friend and I were going to enjoy wings at epic wings downstairs nearby after the first session. She didn't like that idea and made it known but I'm a believer in all things in moderation are okay and that occasional meals you enjoy won't ruin your results after surgery. I came back a second time as I'd already made a deposit for the second session. Shortly after arriving we started chatting and she asked about what I had eaten that week when discussing swelling issues (but only being 12 days post op it's also expected the body will swell) and when I mentioned I'd had pasta 2-3 times that week she expressed displeasure and said she has the right "to fire a client" if they aren't doing what she feels (her opinion) is right for their body to heal. I did share that I'd been eating healthy meals in addition but she was very opinionated about it. Mainly I was taken aback by her saying she can fire a client, as I think we can all decide if we want to come back or not or work with someone. I said if she's uncomfortable I could leave but she said it's fine and she would work on me and eventually we moved forward from that conversation. I am paying for a service and expect that service to be done to the best of her ability. And to be fair she is good at her massages I will say that. But I don't think it's professional to threaten to fire a client who's paying good money for your service and to support your business and their recovery as well just because you don't agree with their eating habits ect. That is not why I came for services. Yes, educate clients and give them knowledge because that's helpful but it's a bit over the top when you go beyond that point. Not everyone is going to take your advice or agree with you so do they deserve to not receive the service at all? Either way you should do your best to help them heal with what you can do and what they came for. Mayette is knowledgeable about the lymphatic system which I can appreciate and hearing how it all works and her service is decent. But the way she comes across so strongly and opinionated can be harsh. She's entitled to her opinions but I don't see how dismissing a paying customer who seeks help is appropriate. Seeking lymphatic massage post op is being proactive in your recovery. If you care about your clients so much than it maybe best to use a different choice of words so customers aren't uncomfortable or caught of guard. In the beginning of the conversation before the massage I was thinking does she not want to work on me or want to fire me over what I ate this week? I was unsure how to proceed initially but we got past it. You can give your opinions and educate clients but there's a better way to go about it and be open to the idea that they may not agree with all of your viewpoints and that IS okay and they don't deserve to be punished for it. I wish her the best and hope she understands where I'm coming from and can maybe approach conversation a little differently and less judgmental in the future. read more

Mayette is fantastic! I recently tore my meniscus. I had terrible pain from returning back to my high demand job. I was unable to sit, stand or walk. Mayette stayed open late in order to accommodate me. She is kind and skilled in a way I cannot describe. Thank you mayette for your love and support. She even took the time on her day off to check in on me. I love her already. Go see her. She is more than a massage therapist. She is a wonderful human being. read more

Awesome experience l! Just what I needed! Mayetta was very experienced and had confidence that made me feel cared for!

ANGELA was amazing!!!! I am SO picky when it comes to massages and angela was simply incredible! My upper back and shoulders are so tight and knotted from being a makeup artist for the last 14 years. After working all week, I desperately called in hopes of getting a last minute massage. ANGELA thankfully told me she could take me in an hour and a half later. It's always hard going to someone completely new (especially when you have really high expectations). I told her my issues and what I wanted and let me just tell you... she delivered!!!! I was soooo pleased and satisfied with the massage I received, I really can't wait to book with her again!!! Thank you ANGELA!!! read more

I initially saw Mayette back in May of this year due to my low back pain with numbness/tingling down my left leg and overall bodily pain as I work long hours sitting down. In addition to my pain, I also have severe stress which prevented me from sleeping. That is why I needed to find a really good CMT. Upon meeting her, I instantly felt very comfortable. After my initial session, my body felt so relaxed and Mayette was able to help me relieve my pain. She is very knowledgeable about what she does. I have been seeing her twice a month now and it's the best decision of my life. read more

Hands down, (no pun intended!) Mayette gave me the BEST massage ever! I am in the industry & have had innumerable massages. She listened to my needs, focused only on the areas I actually needed and used a variety of techniques in her toolbox. Including, cupping! My absolute favorite! Very hard to find experienced LMT's in this area that do this. Her stretching methods are out of this world. She is amazing & kind & very knowledgeable. I will continue going to her & referring her! read more

Yesterday was heavenly! I was in utter pain from moving from the high desert to Temecula. My lower back made me walk like a zombie and the simple action of putting on pants was painful. I broke down and scheduled a massage. Fortunately Mayette was available the same day. A bit difficult to find (above & to the left of the Wings n Things/there's a staircase/elevator to the second floor/her office is inside), but secluded is the best! I thought I should have knocked when I opened the door. It was like walking into a different world. The attention I got in the beginning was JUST what I was looking for - every area was rated and Mayette explained her technique. I'll be honest. It wasn't what I expected. But when I was able to walk away PAIN FREE and able to put on my pants without a second thought: she knows her stuff! I even asked about her membership plan (as I tend to either suffer from intense back pain when I'm not working out OR muscle soreness when training). What impressed me the most was that she went against convention. When most people get a massage, they expect a whole body touch fest. I had absolutely no aspirations for this. 60 minutes wasn't enough time for the work I needed. I THANKFULLY got exactly what was needed (plus the specific recommendation for the other areas of concern). I will look forward to becoming a member, and a regular. Mayette, you are a miracle worker. Easily the top 3 massage therapists I've experienced in my life (and I tend to seek this luxury monthly)! Don't ever doubt your skill. You've made me a very happy person to have found the RIGHT therapist for me. I look forward to my next visit. read more

Mayette is simply amazing! I've never encountered a more knowledgeable massage therapist. I wouldn't even call her a massage therapist. She's a health care practitioner who is highly skilled in a multitude of therapeutic modalities. She tailors treatment to what your body really craves/needs. I felt completed supported in her care and I highly recommend her services to anyone whose body needs a little TLC -- and let's face it, all of us fall into that category. read more

I went in to Feel Better yesterday to have a massage. I walked in with some pain and left 100% pain free! I have had many massages over the years and can honestly say Mayette's was the BEST! Feel Better is a restful, beautiful, peaceful place! I will be back!! read more

I want to thank Mayette for helping me with my upper and lower back issues! Her technique was like no other massage I have ever had. I was in a lot of pain in discomfort and was nervous about getting a massage but she was able to do it in a way of relief without me being bruised or calling her bad words in pain as she did it! Haha I will be recommending her to all my clients and friends. She educated me in why it hurt and what I was doing to cause this pain and how to keep it from getting this bad! Thank you for giving me relief and I will be back! read more

I have a mixed review. I went in for pain management and relaxation. I was told I had to choose one. I chose pain management. I have been to many massage therapists previously and have received relaxation and pain management in the same session. I feel when your most relaxed that's when you can actually work the muscles. But everyone does have their own approach. She mostly worked one specific area that I told her needed work. At the end she blamed not being able to relieve much was because I couldn't do the deep breathing correctly. Which quitter frustrated me to blame the patient and not be able to help me much at all. I left feeling like I already need another massage. :/ and I had done an online deal for $60 and was charged $65 which isn't a huge deal but it's more in accurate advertising - gets you in the door initially and then charges you more. I am disappointed. I also did feel it was weird that there was quite a bit of lights on during the massage and love music playing rather than spa music. She had said to let her know if I don't like the music but at that point I didn't want any further delay in the massage itself by spending time changing the music. read more

Couldn't be happier with my massage from Regina today! My body was long overdue for a massage and I can honestly say this was the best one that I have ever received. Regina focused on all the right areas and used techniques I had never experienced before to relieve tension in my lower back, IT bands, and calves. I walked in tense and uncomfortable and left feeling completely relaxed. She even took the time (after Feel Better closed) to recommend stretches to address some of my tight muscles. She went above and beyond to make me a happy customer, I will definitely be a returning customer and highly recommend her to anyone seeking relief. Thank you! read more

WOW WOW WOW! Top of the line. Mayette is amazing. I am super picky about massages due to major back issues and sore muscles from years of sports and crossfit. I went in one time for severe back pain and she was able to fix it significantly. She listens to what is going on, makes sure you feel comfortable, and ensures that you walk out of there feeling much better than when you came in. Mayette is very friendly and definitely sets the tone for an amazing massage experience. If you want to feel like a new person, Mayette is the lady for you! read more

I've been going to Mayette since my surgery March 3rd. She's by far one of the sweetest people I've met. Very informed about massage techniques. Not only are her massages amazing she also explains everything too you so you are aware of what the massage does, what the benefits are, and how it will help you. Her building is extremely clean and has amazing vibes. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get a massage. I will continue going even after it's no longer needed for my surgery . I started going to Feel Better Integrative Wellness December 2020 due to the fact that I was going to have liposuction BBL surgery in 2021 and was in need of a lymphatic specialists close to home. I was very impressed with Mayette. She is very Professional and a sweetheart as well as amazing at what she does even if it just a normal massage she knows her stuff.. I am still going to her and will continue to do so even after my surgery. So anyone in the Riverside area looking for a lymphatic massage or just regular massage she is the best and absolutely amazing person you need to see. read more

REGINA!! I worked in grocery and other manual labor jobs and went in with excruciating back and knee pains that I had been putting up with for over a couple years. I haven't had a massage in 15 plus years.. this place was clean, relaxing environment, Regina was very professional and knowledgeable. There was no awkwardness at all. I knew I was in pain when I went in, but until I left I had NO idea how much pain I was really in.. I left and was relaxed and felt relieved.. I will be back for more! read more

I had the best prenatal (Mommy to be) massage today. I spent a few days looking up yelp reviews for a few places in Temecula. The owner answered to my yelp message within a hour. She was quick to respond back to any questions I had and was very kind. The owner booked my massage to be done by Claudia. Claudia mentioned to me that she has taken additional classes to do prenatal massage and tips to help me. Which is a plus for me! She gave me great tips on stretching to help between my future scheduled massage appointments. The atmosphere was great and I loved the scent they had in the diffusers. It was quiet and relaxing. It was great that Claudia asked before my massage if I had any trouble spots and any other concerns. I am having a lot of back pain with this pregnancy and she worked her magic. I walked out of there with no pain and beyond relaxed. I was ready to go home and take a nap. Overall, I would recommend this place to any mommy's to be. I will be booking a massage for my husband and update my review based on what he thinks for those curious on getting a regular massage. read more

Mayette was so welcoming and accommodating, and I feel like she will really help me and my tense muscles! I am already telling my mom to book a visit! This was not my typical Swedish, 'spa day' massage- I was here because I was in pain. She really could feel my body and find all the nooks and crannies that were hurting. Thank you Mayette, and I'll see you soon!! read more

After suffering with back and hip pain for three weeks due to overdoing it in the gym, I was looking for pain relief. Mayette's Yelp reviews were fantastic and she was able to fit me in on her schedule the same day I scheduled the appt! (I previously contacted a local chiro and was told he couldn't see me for a month, and another massage therapist who returned my phone call about scheduling an appt. one week after contacting her.) I couldn't isolate the source of pain through stretching, foam rolling, and using a lacrosse ball to try to ease the muscle tension, but Mayette found it -- the psoas! After one session with her, I feel a million times better and am able to get back to working out. As a workout and running fanatic, I don't usually go for "relaxation massages." I prefer someone who can help relieve pain or tightness from training. Mayette is, by far, the best massage therapist I've seen. She is so passionate about helping people that she took the time to explain all the modalities she uses and how they can help, as well as techniques I can do at home. I will definitely be going back! read more

I am new to the area and had been in search of a new massage therapist to help with a nagging injury in my lower back that I've had for years. My search is most certainly over after my visit to Mayette at feel better massage. The experience was a ten out of ten. From the moment I sat down I knew I was in great hands. After reviewing my preliminary questionnaire she asked very poignant questions to get a better understanding of exactly what was hurting and what was the root cause. After a quick and efficient understanding of the background she gave a phenomenal message. She was great at listening for what was the right level of pressure at the right places. She was also great at keeping me engaged but not letting things get so chatty that you are taken out of the experience. I will be going back on a regular basis for this exceptional service! read more
