Fantastic We had the big pretzel with cheese sauce, I had butterfly shrimp and husband had Half rack of ribs. Waitress was pleasant and quick. The vinegar slaw was great! And the pretzel outstanding! All the food was good and served in reasonable time at high noon.

Nice place. Interesting mix of barbecue and Cajun. Swamp platter was a good mix for the appetizer. The decor was very Mardi Gras esq. low mark for only having 1 diet choice for drinks. Most of the food is fried. There was a lot of foot traffic.

I can't speak for the dinner experience as its currently quarter till one in the afternoon. For lunch, this place is good. Wasn't overly busy at all. Nice atmosphere, though I hate how every place around here pipes "country" through the radio, with a lot of dark woods to set the "mill" appearance. My wife and I tried the gator tail appetizer as I was too scared to try the gator tail dinner. Tasted like a cross between chicken and lobster. We both really liked it. Had it served with honey mustard. That was followed up by the main course. Tiff had a catfish dinner. Two decent sized catfish fiddlers with two sides. Her opinion was, "awesome, worth coming back." Being nearly an hour and 40 minutes from home, I'm not sure how soon but will likely be soon. I had a cup of gumbo. I wasn't overly hungry so I didn't order the bowl. Having never had gumbo before, I can't vouch for authenticity but I can say that it was great. Not too spicy and carried a lot of flavor. It is a very heavy soup. I found even the small serving to be filling. If you happen to be in the area (not likely unless you live here) or just feel like taking a drive, don't be afraid to check it out. It's worth it.

The restaurant consists of three floors, all decorated amazingly. We were seated in the basement area and had a wonderful server named Jordan. We started off with drinks. I had a non-alcoholic strawberry garden fizz, my husband had a tequila old fashioned, and our son had a Shirley Temple. For an appetizer we shared the Maine Lobster Caprese. Next we ordered the Nando wedge and French onion soup. For our entrees we enjoyed the Maine Diver Scallop Bucatini, Agrodolce Wild Duck Breast, and our son had sides of macaroni and cheese and Parmesan Truffle Pommes Frites. While we were absolutely full after these courses and had parts of our meal boxed to go, our son insisted he had an extra stomach for dessert. We ordered the Lemon Tart and Creme Brulee. We had the bourbon soaked cherries that came with the crème brulee put on the side. The menu selections, the ambiance, the staff, and especially the food were all amazing. We can't wait to come back with other family and friends. *I did forget to snap a few pictures of some of our dishes.

The croquettes had a lot of interesting flavors and textures - again, worth sharing with a group. The burger and fries was just okay. The brocollini was nice and citrusy. I really enjoyed the flavor of the brussel spouts. The brazilian cheese bread was also delicious (reminds me of the ones from fogo de chao). Otherwise, our server was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

I couldn't wait to try it out after I saw it. It wasn't super busy when I was there but was really impressed that the gentleman seating patrons chose the perfect spot for my daughter and I. She is in a wheelchair and the booth he set for us had a nice amount of room on the end so she was able to scoot nice and close to the table. They have paper on all the tables and bring out paper plates and plastic ware for you to enjoy your cheesy garlic toast and appetizers on. Our server was amazing and very attentive. She brought out that cheesy garlic bread and it was delicious! It didn't take long at all after we finished our bread that she brought out our appetizer. We chose hush puppies and there was a nice honey mustard type sauce that was served with them. They weren't the best hush puppies I've ever had but certainly not the worst either. My daughter loved them and she normally doesn't care for them. It wasn't long and our meal came out. Her catfish and Cajun fries were piping hot. My crawfish etoufee and white rice wasn't quite as hot. It was very tasty but could've been a smidge warmer. We didn't safe room for dessert however they do have options if you are so inclined and have saved room. The one downfall, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that it isn't very wheelchair accessible. We had to use the restroom when we were there and it was a little difficult to maneuver thru all the closed doors to get where we needed to go. That would be the only thing I would suggest working on! Otherwise this place is excellent! I cannot wait to come back and try some of the other dishes and drinks!

I'll give them 4.75 stars, but they did fantastic so I'll round up for this place. First, we walk in the door and Zack walked past and complimented the boss on her snazzy shirt and a few other staff were friendly too so the vibe was nice to start off. We were then led to our table to discover Zack is our server for the night. Another compliment on the bosses glasses, okay she did look great - Thanks Zack! Drinks come out super fast and we get our food ordered. Zack was great helping with Alpha Gal and later following up with the kitchen staff that they had in fact not put butter on my fish - another win. I ordered the red fish special (I think) with a baked potato and the boss got the Harris Platter. Zack recommended blackened and was so right, delicious! I tried her fired catfish and that was delicious too, but would have dipped it in hot sauce, but the cocktail sauce was so yummy with a nice horseradish bite - delicious and maybe better than hot sauce (slander I know). That 0.25 off - well the hushpuppies were kinda gross and bland. This is the south so quality hushpuppies are a must. Ask for Zack, you will not be dissapointed.

I came back again the next day for lunch. When I came back Saturday we got the crab bites and they were very good. Had the crab legs for the second day in a row and they were still 10 out of 10. Can't wait to come back. For as popular as this place is I do think they could upgrade their tables a little. Our server on valentines afternoon was great and took care of our group of 11. Their house wines are Woodbridge which is actually under the Robert mondavi label.
