They finally got someone to help me reload the boxes back into the car. FedEx consistently delivers the worst possible service, which is to say that they don't deliver any service at all. Missing packages, drivers claiming they tried to deliver but had a problem - I've heard everything from a dog attacked them (untrue) to no one being home (untrue, and why should that matter anyway? No signature required) to they couldn't access the house (untrue) to there was too much snow (absolutely untrue). Management is useless. Worst. Company. Ever. read more

This is THE WORST business!! My package was supposed to be delivered yesterday. The driver stated they tried to deliver (which they didn't because I was there ALL DAY) . The driver put that the address was the wrong address. Some guy called from FEDEX to ask me what my business name is and I told him. The guy said that my address was correct on his end and he will make sure I got my packages today. Fast forward today and the driver lied and said he tried to make the delivery but my address is wrong AGAIN!! Now no one is answering the phone. I went down to the FEDEX shipping center and the people working there told me that they don't have access to the FEDEX system and that I have to go to a different location so they don't have to deal with my issues! FEDEX driver's are liars and the people that work in the shipping building will not help you!! I will FOREVER use UPS moving forward, as should as everyone else!! Oh and when you google the address to the shipping center on Camino Entrada and you get the picture of a guy throwing the finger with the INCORRECT office times is not professional!!! read more

I don't know what it is about FedEx in this town overall, but every location, specifically this one, is always so rude. From delivery drivers to the people you have to call when the door tag doesn't say where the box is located in Santa Fe to the actual location where it's being held - I literally always feel like I am being reprimanded for picking up a package and not having information that was never provided, like I work there or something. I'm always picking up office packages and half the time they will be released to me and the other half of the time they won't because of policy, despite setting up the management of deliveries for our office online. It's absurd. ***Use UPS or USPS. These people are the worst.*** read more

Fedex is usually great but service from their Santa Fe facility is horrendous. I waited all day for an important package that required signature, and got a text saying that they attempted delivery, but absolutely did not. There was no door tag either. I suspect the driver (not the usual one I was told later) tried to deliver to the wrong address or maybe just lied to shorten the route or improve metrics. After many calls, tweets, emails and PMs, got a call from the Santa Fe faculty and they wanted me to drive across town to pick it up. Isn't Fedex supposed to be the delivery service? Helloooooo! Then they tell me it will be delivered tomorrow - I asked for a delivery time window and they told me "probably after noon" and before 8pm. That means I have to sit around and wait for them to do their job for another 8 hours ...and hope they actually do it. This Santa Fe operation is obviously mismanaged. Maybe somebody from HQ will see this and give this facility an operational enema. It needs it. read more

I ordered food for a dinner party with guaranteed FedEx delivery on Friday and it is now Tuesday afternoon and I just got the pleasant FedEx Scripted apology call of sorry we missed your delivery because we could not find your house but will try to make it tomorrow now Wednesday. I included additional delivery instructions but stupidly they don't get printed on the drivers delivery label. I explained my box contains perishable food and has been sitting in FedEx Santa Fe, NM warehouse since 5:30AM last Friday for 6 days. FedEx requires food boxes to be marked Perishable plus a sticker indicating there is dry ice in the box. FedEx should have known the contents. When I explained the contents and all the problems they caused me and they checked it was obviously ruined. Interestingly UPS comes to our house multiple times each week with zero problems. read more

FedEx is usually good with delivering my packages. This package is an express delivery so 1-2 business days. I received a notification that it was on the truck for delivery today. At 8:40 I got the notification that my package was delivered to my place of employment and signed for by M. Sanchez. Here is the kicker, there is no one at my job with the Last name of Sanchez first of all, second, I drove my happy self to my job which is 30 minutes away from where I live on my day off because this package is very important, hence the express shipping. I looked everywhere for this package, the mail room, the back door, with the front desk, with the store. Nothing. The first person I spoke to said that I could go pick it up at the shipping facility. I just called back to find out where it was located, and they told me that I could not pick it up, that the manger put notes saying for me not to be sent to the location and it would be delivered on the 3rd because of the holiday. So, this express shipping that was paid is pointless as I will be receiving my package within the same time frame of ground shipping. read more

Went outside this morning. Found a package that wasn't mine. FedEx had left someone else's package by mistake. So I called the ship center. The first guy I talked to just didn't seem to be able to understand. I explained to him that FedEx had mis-delivered a package. He asked if I wanted a pickup. I tried again. He asked if I wanted to have something delivered. I explained again. He basically said FedEx didn't make mistakes delivering packages. I hung up and redialed. This time the young women who answered understood, but wasn't able to help. I gave up. Basically FedEx was completely uninterested in the fact that they had mis-delivered the package, and didn't want to be bothered picking it up! I find it difficult to believe that a company with that kind of attitude will be very successful. read more

I've always liked FedEx for business to business shipments, but run far and fast if you're residential because they simply DO NOT CARE about residential customers at the Santa Fe distribution center. (Which I think shares this same address) On Dec 7 2011 I was due to receive a package that was shipped 2nd day. When an exception occurred saying 'Delivery not attempted' I called and was informed that the drivers were recalled at 5:30, whether or not they completed their routes. On Dec. 8 my package was once again on the truck. Now one might expect that they would start with the deliveries that were not completed the day before. WRONG! Dec 8 passed, and another "Delivery not attempted" was shown in my tracking. When I called customer service again they said the only thing they could do was note in their files that I really need my shipment. I requested that they hold the package so I could pick it up myself, and was informed that because they HAVEN'T EVEN TRIED to complete the delivery, that it was against the restrictions of the shipper. My options are to either hope that FedEx delivers, or try and get the shipper to release their restrictions on the package. In summary, if you're a business enjoy your fantastic FedEx service. If you're residential, sorry you'll get your deliveries IF there is any time left after we do business deliveries. read more

Awful!!! Use another carrier if you want to receive your packages! Waited all day for my package to arrive and to my dismay when I checked tracking it said delivered. I called immediately fedex 800 number as there is no local number available. They said they could see the driver mis-delivered my package and they would pick it up and redeliver. That NEVER happened. Call after call to track it down. I was told they would contact me. That didn't happen. I drove to the local center to speak to someone in person, they then say it was delivered to the correct address. (hmm fishy) and proceed to treat me like I'm an idiot and somehow missed my package. Thankfully the person that it was delivered to dropped it by two weeks later! I continue to receive their packages also, though our roads are clearly marked. They literally DON'T CARE! and as far as I can tell are straight up crooked. read more

I went to shop at the hobby lobby in Santa Fe today and was greeted by a fed ex delivery person going out the wrong door and was less than one foot apart when he turned the corner. I told him he was going out the wrong door and he said that he knew that in a hateful way and then told me to have a good day. This struck me as if he was stating an opinion or making a political statement. His behavior was totally unprofessional and unacceptable. I talked to the manager at hobby lobby and spent less than 30 seconds with the manager before she let me know end of subject. I am a faithful hobby lobby shopper but never expected to be treated so poorly by a hobby lobby manager! FedEx and hobby lobby are off my list, they are Both non existent to me. read more

Employees are very rude, never greet the customers. When I have dropped off pre paid boxes they don't even bother to ask me if I'd like a receipt. I had to verbally tell them I wanted a receipt. To which the employee sighed like it was inconveniencing her. Hello!!!! This is your job!!! I have recently started using this to ship items I have sold on Mercari. I have had numerous messages from customers that boxes were damaged. I believe this cause when I have personally dropped off boxes I have watched them throw my boxes around like it's not a big deal. I am going to stop using them for business and going to go back to USPS, even if I have to drive 25 minutes out of my way. I refuse to do business with them again. If I could give them a lower rating I would. I had two identically addressed packages arriving today. One was delivered to the correct location. The other was delivered who-knows-where. How a driver who is so stupid as to not recognize that two packages with the same address should be delivered together is beyond me. As soon as I realized that the second package had been delivered and signed for, yet was not delivered to me I contacted FedEx. Their overseas customer service representatives advised me that they would contact the driver and I would hear back within 2 hours. I called three times somewhat more than two hours apart, but never received any response. I paid for Priority Overnight service because I needed to have the DigiKey parts by noon so I could deliver my product on time. Now it's not clear that I will even get them tomorrow. I received an email indicating that my package was delivered to my door at 10:56. I arrived home at 11:10 and there was no package. I contacted FedEx three times and was told that a local representative would call back within two hours. I still haven't heard back from them. At this writing FedEx is holding firm and saying they delivered the package behind my gate and I don't even have a gate. Of note, my address is on the mailboxes, and on both sides of the pole that holds the mailboxes. So how my package could be delivered to the wrong address is beyond me. This is not the first time this has happened - it's the second time in two weeks! read more

My .5 pound envelope was guaranteed to arrive today before noon and requires a signature. So I patiently wait at home and at 12:15 call FedEx (sic) to inquire about the location of the envelope as tracking tells me it is "en route" and was at the Santa Fe dispatch this morning. Fedex customer service promises me a call back within 2 hours.... nothing, nada. As it approaches 3 pm in Santa Fe, FedEx is nowhere to be found or contacted. Do yourself a favor and avoid FedEx when receiving anything in Santa Fe. Sending via Fedex from the folks in town seems to be more reliable ....but receiving? My whole day is wasted hoping FedEx will deliver much needed contents that should have arrived 3 hours ago - at the very latest. Sunshine outside and tracking tells me the envelope is in Santa Fe - so no weather excuses and I am on an easy to reach route. read more

Always liked FedEx. We moved here 6 years ago, and have had nothing but trouble. For the first 3 years, at least once a month a package would be out for delivery, then an exception would be generated to the effect that there was no such address, and the package would be returned to the facility. Then delivered the next day. After that stopped, there were multiple "exceptions" for weather delays after a package was out for delivery, when there wasn't a cloud in the sky. For the last year, the trick has been: "Exception: returned to facility for inspection" -- delivered next day with no sign of any damage, original shipper's tape in place. Two weeks ago: "Exception: business closed or recipient not available," but package did not require signature and there is a standing order in my account to leave package at door. In the last week, three occasions where a package was out for delivery, then returned to the facility without explanation, and delivered next day. I understand it may be hard to get good employees in New Mexico, but UPS doesn't seem to have any problems, they've been perfect for the last 6 years. read more

Our FedEx Express driver is off (ie creepy). He comes to the door whistling and laughing to get my dogs barking and then laughs away. I ask him to please stop and he laughs, while cupping his hand to his ears (ie he can't hear me because the dogs are barking), then he laughs again. He has complained to my husband and I that he has to walk 10 feet across dirt rather than gravel at my house (he yelled this into the window one time) and complains that he has had to drive over dog poop and it gets on his wheels and he smells it all day. I have complained to the 800 number but the local Santa Fe office does nothing. I have requested for them to hold my mail and I will pick it up (30 min each way to pick up). The 800 folks can't even seem to ensure their unstable employee is not on my property. Welcome to Santa Fe (the down side of living here).
