I asked if it would be a problem since I needed to get to work and if it wouldn't work I would find a different way since I could not be late. The dispatcher assured me that I would be picked up on time as he put it "i put very important next to your name." With that being said I was confident I didn't need to try and find a different way and everything would be ok. The next morning comes around and I'm ready to go at 530 waiting, looking out the window. Five forty rolls around and there is still no cab. I'm beginning to get nervous, but I figure I did order it twenty minutes early to make sure I wouldn't be late so I can wait a bit more. Now, it's 545 and still no show. It takes ten minutes to get to my work from my house, so now I call cause if they somehow missed me, they need to start coming right now so I can get there. I call and a different dispatcher answers. I tell her my predicament and ask if there is someone on the way. I get a sigh and a "we are doing the best we can to get everyone picked up on time and they are on their way to your house right now." So I get off the phone and wait yet again, hoping that they get here asap. Ten minutes pass, then finally my cab arrives. It is now 6:00 a. m., the time that I'm supposed to be at my job. The cab driver asks if I had been waiting long and without pause I say, "yes, I have. I ordered this cab last night at 9pm for 530 this morning to make sure I got to work on time. Because I cannot risk being late to my job. It is a new job, this is only my 5th day and I'm still a temp." I did everything in my power to make sure i was going to be on time and it didn't matter cause I was lied to by two dispatchers that I was safe in their hands. The cab driver then told me that there's no reason why I shouldn't have been picked up on time as they asked about my scheduled pickup and were told by the dispatch that they weren't to pick me up yet cause "they didn't have time to do my run cause it was all the way to sauk rapids and they were to do their other in town runs first." I was told by the driver that they normally do their runs to the methadone clinic first cause the customers use the cabs every day and are bigger money makers since most of them are paid for with state or insurance money and the cabs are able to charge the maximum available from them regardless of distance or time per run. What a bunch of crap. So I was made to be late to my job because of greedy drivers and a greedy cab company that blatantly lied to me when they knew damn well that they were going to do all their daily clinic runs first regardless of how badly I needed to be on time or how early I had set up my ride. NEVER AGAIN. They will never get my patronage again. I will use any other cab company or Uber or lyft or bike or walk before I trust them to get me to where I need to get. It's obvious to me that they have lost to all these other transportation methods in every way except as a ride to clinics as covered by insurance or the state and they seem to know it and have given up on customer satisfaction. To give closure on my story, I did lose the job because I was not on time for that one time. Thanks Yellow Cab. I even asked if it would be a problem getting me my ride cause if it was I just needed to know so I could find another way. They chose to lie and give me false sense of comfort. I can't wait for them to shut down as they will inevitably with the rise of alternatives that have people who are motivated by good service and have no reason or means to lie to their customers.

    To Whom It May Concern,…read more My name is Shaontay Tyson. I am writing to formally report a very concerning experience I had at the FedEx Office location at 2423 W Division St, St. Cloud, MN regarding a recent print order for business cards. I visited the store to pick up business cards for my nonprofit organization, Soul Sisterhood, and paid approximately $140 in cash for the order. When I received the cards, the quality was extremely poor and did not match what I requested or paid for. The cards were printed on paper that felt very thin and unprofessional, not the heavier cardstock that I was told would be used. Some of the cards were also damaged. When I calmly asked about the issue and requested a refund or correction, the manager became confrontational. Instead of assisting me in resolving the problem, she threatened to call the police on me while I was simply requesting a refund for a product that did not meet the quality I paid for. During this interaction, the manager made a comment that was extremely offensive and inappropriate. She stated, "You people always want something for free." This statement was humiliating and discriminatory, especially in front of other customers in the store. As a customer and a nonprofit founder, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism. I believe this situation was handled very poorly, both in terms of product quality and customer service. I am requesting that FedEx Office: 1. Conduct a review of this incident and the employee's conduct. 2. Address the discriminatory comment that was made. 3. Ensure that customers are treated fairly and respectfully in your stores.
