My daughter and I came in for our appointment and from start to end it could of not felt so racist and filled with microaggressions, the tech was some blonde who was nothing but cold and and short with my daughter. The tech talked to my daughter in such a tone it felt so uneasy which come to find out my gut feeling was right! Reason being is when we got to looking at glasses the manager John could of not been so cold and rude! He said under his breath that my daughter and I were "being too picky" and that he "cant do this because he is getting annoyed" after hearing that I decided to pay extra close attention to him and the level of microaggressions the manger displaced to my daughter and I was just plane disgusting! Never coming back and will go somewhere that doesn't care about skin color

I was told I had "Dry Eyes" and then "Fuch's Disease". Both diagnosis were wrong. Concerned with…read moremy peripheral vision loss (which was being ignored), I skipped the 3rd appointment I had scheduled there within 8 days and went to a different ophthalmologist. I was told I was having surgery the next day for a detached retina. I had the surgery the next day as the longer a detached retina is untreated, the higher the chance of loss of vision or even blindness in the eye. The staff nurse at Buffalo Eye Clinic was also rude, and asked me why I was back for "dry eye" to which I replied, it's not dry eye - I am losing vision. Don't trust this place. I requested to talk to another doctor who was even worse. She made fun of me and interrupted me as well. They tried to push bifocals on me after saying many times I did not want them. She said "well if you want to be inconvenienced then." Instead of respecting my preference of not having reading glasses. I do not struggle with seeing while reading. There were not notes from my past visits explaining my situation. I have a lazy eye and stigmatizing, near and far sighted. I have spent years getting the right type of glasses and know the bifocals and provisions are not for me. They did not hear me at all, just interrupted and made fun of me. I am 44 and have worn glasses for 10 years. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Horrible experience. We will NEVER be back. They do not care about the patient. Old staff was completely different.
