He removed the cyst and I am soon glad I had it removed there, I can't imagine another clinic working so hard to make me feel so comfortable with the procedure. I went to Melrose Optical because they were close to home. I have never been treated with such disrespect to my intelligence. I paid over 600 dollars for my glasses. I always get the top of the line. Apparently there top of the line is having to replace my lenses every 3 1/2 months. They give you 3 free lenses replacements, but why is that? Maybe they need to re evaluate the lab making the lenses. My lenses have been replaced 3 times due to multiple scratches. I use the glass cleaner and a cloth. I do everything the way I have been, since I was 15. I am now 50 so, I have experience! Melrose Optical wants to place the blame on me. Yes, they told me it's the way I clean them. Then they even had the odasity to say it's the heat from me cooking. Is that even possible, maybe if I stuck my head inside the oven. I don't think so, because I have been baking for years. I even have a ten year old pair of glasses, with no scratches on them! I am beside myself and when l called to complain. They just brushed me off and had no empathy. All they could say is you already had 3 lenses replacements. Why is that?? Your lab does not know what they are doing. Then when I got my first pair of lenses, I seen numbers on them. I was told by the Optical shop that's normal for bi focals. Then the 2nd replacement they had numbers and none on the 3rd. So I called to question it and they said "we calibrate our machine daily." So if there are no numbers there that's normal. Really, because I was specifically told they needed to be there for the bi focal. Then the gal at the office told me next time I order. I can get a better scratche coating. I was told I already had the best. I always make sure of that when I get knew glasses. I will NEVER EVER order glasses from Melrose and Albany Optical again . All they care about is a profit to them. They have NO customer service skills at all. That also brings me to the eye exam bill I had. My insurance did not.cover it, so I paid 160 out of pocket for the exam. At the time we were on a budget. They kept hounding us for the money. They Were very rude if the payment plan was not on time. If I could give a 0 for customer service,I would. I am not stupid. I don't appreciate being treated with lack of compassion and empathy to my complaint!

The PA - at THAT TIME- under-treated my spouse and myself. There is some new staff NOW and the whole place is redecorated, & the bathrooms are clean &approachable. Yet what matters most is the professional treatment. The NP and Dr. Eliff are very professional & caring. At this time, I have full confidence in this clinic! Was told 7-10 days for my new pairs of glasses to arrive, I ended up waiting 2 days short of a month. Called a week after my appt and they said the order never got sent to the lab, and that they would expedite the order, it was another 2 weeks after that that I ended up calling them to come pick my glasses up, they never called me once.... Would I recommend? If you have no issue waiting 3 times the time frame they tell you, yes. If you are looking for a fast and easy process of replacing glasses, other places are MUCH faster.
