I'm starting to think the FedEx drivers delivering from this location are delivering packages with their eyes closed. For some reason they are consistently delivering packages to my neighbors home (who I can't stand and don't trust) and not my home. Both of us have house numbers clearly on our door. I had $10,000 worth of photography equipment that I use for work just delivered to my neighbors home after I took off work and waited all day to be able to sign for these packages, only to find out it was "delivered" and signed by someone not me. After knocking on doors I found it at my neighbors house and the package was OPENED!!!! How is this ok?!?! read more

I'd give this location, its staff, and FedEx overall zero stars. I placed a vacation hold for packages; attempts to deliver were still made. When I called during this hold time inquiring I was told "it's a glitch, contact the sender".... Returned to find a 'final attempt' door tag on my door with no date it was left and information on how to get my package. Called FedEx, they told me I could have it delivered next day to a holding facility literally down the street from my address', great please do! Well, the next day I recover 2 emails of "attempted delivery but business was closed" - hmm the holding facility def not closed so I called again, they told me it was attempt at be delivered to my home - no chance those attempts were made, I was home all day and outside doing yard work most of it. And my cameras show zero fedex activity. Tons me I could pick it up at the fedex location (40 mins one way...) and yes! It is definitely there, I confirmed and they are holding it. Drove thee, waited ten mins to be told it's on a truck for delivery to the holding facility..... "when you call the 1800 number, they don't communicate with us"..awesome...waited till morning, nope never delivered to the holding facility. I came here needing to leave a refrigerated item. Although it already had the freezer packs around it, I incorrectly thought that it needed to be held in a refrigerated place, but my package was already taken care of. That's my dumb mistake here. This location does not refrigerate items. The woman at the desk was helpful with helping me understand what I needed to ship my item. What was not helpful is her telling me that they don't have a DIRECT number to this place. How do customers get their questions answered ahead of time without going through FedEx's useless site? I had the worst experience with this location! The drivers don't bother stopping by. They send a notification of attempted delivery that never happened! I took a sick day at work , I called customer service a day before and asked them to leave instructions for a driver to ring a doorbell. I canceled all my plans, I stayed home. My door was wide open! The driver didn't even bother to stop the truck by my house!!! Unbelievable! I wish there was something I could do to make FedEx management to read these reviews! Drivers saying they tried to deliver package when I have cameras all over and no signatures were ever required so why are they not leaving package .lol what a joke. I don't normally write reviews for places like this, but this location is AWFUL. I walked in with two boxes to send out. The person at the counter told me I'd have to buy a roll tape and packing materials in order to seal the boxes. I was a little annoyed, but that's fine if that's their policy. The next person walked in with boxes to pack, and a different employee gave him a roll of tape to use from behind the counter! The employee who had made me buy my tape looked up peevishly and said she hadn't known they had tape. Of course, because I already opened and used mine, I couldn't return it. Then she PUT THE TAPE I BOUGHT BACK ON THE RACK FOR RESALE. I said, "Um, if you're just going to resell it, can you not charge me for it?" And she took it off the rack. Then the charges came out to about $20 more than I had expected. I mail these same materials around the country a lot, so I have a pretty good feeling for how much it should cost. I was told that "that's just how much it is" and asked them to please check again. On closer inspection, they found that they had put in the weights for the boxes incorrectly which is what caused the high price. Imagine if I hadn't said anything! The employee I interfaced with was clearly very new, and I'm not unsympathetic to that. But she wasn't alone in the shop, and surely someone else should have been assisting if she had no idea what she was doing. read more

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS!! The amount of unprofessionalism, lack of customer service and lack of common knowledge that I just endured at this location was upsetting. The sales associate JENNIFER was very difficult to deal with and subsequently threw a tantrum when I was trying to explain how it's impossible to have an updated address on my license currently being that I just moved and furthermore we're in the midst of an pandemic. I came 30 minutes from my residence to pick up a package and even tried to show everything on my phone I.E Address & tracking number for corresponding package. To which she replied "WE CANT TAKE ANYTHING ON PHONES". I asked why not being that everything currently is digital in the year of 2020! After waiting 15 minutes for her to explain to the manager HILLARY how she strongly feels i shouldn't be able to receive my package, Hilary came out and allowed me to receive my package. Awful experience at this location. I walked in and there were two "customer service" people and no line. I figured, since I had a simple transaction that it would take no time at all. Boy, was I wrong. The two "customer service" people were too involved in their conversation to even acknowledge my presence. I stood at the counter for at least a minute waiting to see if they would even acknowledge me. No such luck.. Since I could tell that their conversation (which did not sound like a pressing issue) was apparently more important than my business, I walked out. They didn't even acknowledge me as I walked out until I sarcastically said "thank you" It wasn't only that they didn't help me that was the issue. This is the worst FedEx I've ever been to. The lazy young lady behind the counter is either a liar or incompetent. Only she can tell you which one. She was put off by the size of the package I brought in, which was within FedEx guide lines. She measured one side of it and stated it was simply too big for there facility. (probably one of the biggest in Bergen County) This package was not freight, just a large package. After being on the phone with the person I was dropping it off for, I brought it one town away to Ramsey. The small FedEx Kinkos took the package with smiles on there faces!!!, gave me a receipt & I was on my way. If there is a manager of any kind at the Mahwah facility, he or she needs to remind employees there sole purpose as a business is to accept & deliver packages. The good news for me is that FedEx ground delivered the package 6 days later as promised. read more

I never write reviews but this one has me steaming. This is the fourth time in the past few months that I have received extremely poor service. They flat out lie to their customers. I was expecting delivery of a package from Apple. I missed the first attempt at the home as they came at 11:30 am and no one was home because I work. The door tag they left states to come to the fedex ship center after 4pm to pick up the package. I show up at 7pm and NO PACKAGE. "It's still on the truck" is what they tell me. So why don't they tell the truth to their customers and state the realistic times when the package will actually be back at the shipment center???? They weren't even willing to find out where the driver is or when he is expected back. I waited for one and a half hour and the guy still didn't show up. So I left with no package. I drove an hour just to pick up the damn package and I leave with no package. The next day, the fedex guy didn't even attempt to make a delivery. The tracking info states attempted at 8:43 pm (Yeah right!!) I reviewed the security feed of the cameras on the property and there was no fedex truck or guy anywhere near the property. At 6 pm I called again just to confirm because the tracking number still said my package was at the mahwah facility. The lady told me there was no room on the truck and that I would have to come get it if I needed it today. I rushed there aggravated because it is over a half hour drive from me and I did pay for two day shipping for a reason. I gave the man my tracking number and he told me oh that just got a scan at 7pm. It's out on the road for delivery. So annoyed. I hate fed ex. Waste of time. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I was on line at this center dropping off a package with a prepaid label, from a medical diagnostics company, patiently waiting. The woman at the counter on 7/19/19 at 3:15 pm was angry and saw me with my package and told me to just put it on the counter because it was prepaid. I told her I wanted to make sure everything was okay with it and get a receipt and she said I didn't need one because it was a prepaid label. I did as was told, but, as a result got no receipt and now have no tracking #. Now it is 7/23/19 and the medical company I was sending the package to still does not have my package and I have no way to track it. I called Fed Ex, 800 #, as Mahwah Fed Ex is unreachable and they are looking for my package, but it is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. Don't bother shipping from his location, I dealt with a truly horrible employee by the name of Jennifer who was rude and incapable of doing her job with any type of courteousness. I have never seen someone so absolutely miserable, and clearly she felt the need to spread her misery to everyone she came in contact with. She was short with another employee as I was walking in, and proceeded to be unacceptably nasty to me as well. I honestly think she should be removed from this position, customer service employees should be pleasant people who are willing to help, not people with horrible attitudes looking to take out their anger on customers. On Thursday February 8, 2018 I ordered the galaxy 7edge. The delivery date for this item was for Friday Feb 9, 2018 to my house before 8:00pm. I waited for this package up until I had to pick my kids up from school... After picking my kids up from school friday I sat in front of my house to see if the pacakge would come. When it never did I decided to track it. When I tracked it, it said that I had missed the delivery and would have to wait until Monday for it to be redelivered. I decided to pick it up that night after picking my wife up from work. We had to drive all the way To the FEDEX in Mahwah, NJ. When we got there we gave them all the information they needed and they proceeded to give us the package. My wife signed for the package grabbed the box and as we was walking out the first double doors my wife noticed the package was not wrapped correctly. I grabbed the box from her and noticed it had been open with the flaps folded within each other... I opened the box and there was only a plastic bubble. No phone was in the package at all. We turned back to the counter and asked for a manager. They told us there was nothing they could do and gave us a 1800 number to call. Someone in FEDEX stole my wife's phone read more
