The young men who came to pack and move me, (I'm 73 and handicapped)…read morewere very polite and did the best they knew how to do, except for leaving a big pile of pooh in the toilet without flushing it. That was unpleasant. The rest of this is about the company and the training these young men did not receive. They arrived around 10 am and I showed them the small apt that needed to be packed. Packing should have only taken about 3-4 hours, except they had not received any training in working smart rather than hard. They did work very hard, but they did not know what they were doing. My impression was that they had not moved anyone before and did not know how to pack boxes, or even to put pictures and other wall accessories into boxes. Being in a power chair, I thought it best to stay out of their way, so I was very surprised when it ended up taking them until 4:30 to get the truck packed. They grabbed supper and we headed out to the new place where they unloaded and were done by 7:00. I watched them carry in paintings and other pictures, wall accessories, 2 at a time as well as other items not boxed. They worked very hard, and I give them an A for effort except for a couple of things. #1) They left a cupboard and a drawer untouched, and left items in drawers and on shelves as well as scattered around the apt. I had to pay someone else to pack up the remaining items. #2) They left the toilet full of poo, and when I returned the next day, it surely did smell. I give the company an F. My charges were high, and to top it all off, I received a call this am telling me I owed them for another half hour. I told the woman I would call back, but she wasn't in this pm so I left a message. We'll see how this plays out, but there's no way I'm paying them another dime. I don't mind paying big bucks for a job well done; but the lack of training, sending me 2 inexperienced young men without an experienced person to advise them and help them, is not the way to earn a big fee. I am VERY SORRY I CALLED THIS COMPANY AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYONE IN THE FUTURE. I certainly would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN if I am unfortunate enough to have to move again. There are several other moving companies locally who I'm sure would do a much better job without overcharging for their service. BE SURE TO CHECK AROUND BEFORE YOU SIGN ON. I have not yet had the opportunity to unpack as I'm still waiting for the inspection on my home, so I don't know what I'll find when I open the boxes. While this posting has placed me in San Francisco, and while I'd love to live there, this move was from Ft Walton Beach, FL. to Navarre, FL, about a 20 minute drive up the coast.

This is the worst moving experience I have ever had! I had a 3 man team of Quintin, Mark and Bill…read more Let me just start of by saying that if I could rate Quintin alone I would give him 4 stars, but for Mark and Bill 0/10 recommend. They showed up on time which I appreciated, but then came to realize that majority of my items were damaged allegedly in transport according to Bill which is questionable because I later discovered that Bill was a liar. Around 3pmish, he decided that he didn't want to help me anymore for whatever reason when my coffee table legs were still missing and I was told that the movers were responsible for helping me assemble all of my furniture so then Bill tells me he's going outside to make a phone call after he made a slick comment telling me to just buy another coffee table. Quintin comes into my apartment saying that he would do the final paperwork with me. A couple moments later I get a call from the manager and he tells me that he was informed that I "refused to sign the paperwork" which is a boldface lie because I never once said anything like that and I let him know that I was in the middle of signing the documents with Quintin. When I realized he made up this lie just for his own personal agenda to go home despite screwing over a single female Air Force member I asked the manager who I could complain to for the poor customer service I received. He asked me what happened so I told him about Mark and Bill's unprofessionalism. Mark had no respect for my home, he used my toilet without asking me (I wouldn't have said no but its's the principle), put his drink in my freezer without asking, sat on my patio furniture texting instead of working and plugged his phone to charge into my outlet as if he pays my electric bill. The manager said he would handle it and I unplugged Mark's phone handed it to him and told him not to ever plug his phone into people's outlets without their permission with no remorse or response for his actions. Quintin was kind enough to actually show some human empathy and left his contact info in the event I find my coffee table legs so he could personally assemble it for me. I have yet to hear what the manager has done to resolve this, but I will ensure no one else has to ever go through what I did today.

They did replace the TV with an off Brand. They damage my wife bureau and Spencer himself. gave us his word, he would replace it. That was a week ago. Called and left a message, NO return call. I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with All My Sons Moving Company…read more They arrived three hours late without proper communication. While packing up my old apartment, they broke the living room light fixture and did not fix it or take responsibility. When we arrived at my new place, I was suddenly told I would be charged $1,000 for only eight items. This was never clearly communicated beforehand. I felt like I had no choice but to pay because they were essentially holding my belongings hostage until payment was made. It only got worse from there. When unloading, they told me one of the dressers was "too heavy" and that I would need to unload it and bring everything inside myself because they weren't going to do it. I paid a moving company to move my belongings -- not to do the labor myself. Once everything was inside, I discovered: * My dining room chair was completely broken and unusable * My couch had two holes in it * One of my dressers had a front leg completely snapped off They didn't offer to pay for any of the damage just said they would contact the workers and get back with me. They claimed the dresser was already damaged when they arrived, which is absolutely untrue. I have pictures proving it was not damaged beforehand. I contacted their supervisor as instructed and sent photos. He was no help at all and simply responded with "sorry" while insisting I had been told the pricing -- which I was not. The entire interaction felt dismissive and incredibly unprofessional. This company was late, damaged my property, overcharged me without proper communication, and refused to take accountability. I am highly disappointed and extremely frustrated with how this company is managed. I strongly recommend choosing another moving company.

They also showed compassion and found us the most economical yet expedient shipping options. So blessed to find this store open late and helpful in our need for mailing goods way past USPS limited and silly office hours.

They arrived on time with a team of four guys and two trucks and got the job done quickly and efficiently and really took care of our things. The had to navigate some narrow stairs and a bit of indecision about where things would be placed, but did it with smiles and ensured that we were happy before the job was called complete. We've done a lot of moves, but this team was the most polite, hardest working, and efficient crew we've met. No added charges, no surprises.
