Tag left at my mailbox to collect a package. I called the Fed Ex Ship Center number who stated that the package would not be left at my doorstep unless someone was home. Fed Ex suggested I come by after 4pm up until 7pm to collect the package at their location. I ran my weekend errands, ending the day with a hike on up to Elmsford to find out that the package had been delivered - while I was out and left at my doorstep. Thanks for the scenic route, guys. read more

They change the shipping address, unauthorized, based on antiquated address map that they don't update by using USPS databases. They claim that the customer was not home or the business was closed - a lie - and keep rescheduling for later. Their website does not allow updates. Shame on FedEx! DONT CHANGE THE ADDRESS SPECIFIED BY THE SHIPPER. WHAT YOU DID IS ILLEGAL AND STUPID. YOU SHOULD BE SUED. read more

Had a scheduled a delivery for Saturday 8/1. Checked tracking after 5 pm when I didn't recieve delivery. The note from tracking stated that dirver couldn't make delivery as address was incorrect. I called and finally got through to customer service and was told the same. I confirmed with FedEx they had the correct address. They asked for directions. I asked if driver had GPS and was given excuse that the address doesn't appear on GPS. I explained that we get FedEx delvieries on this street and to this address all the time. Waiting for a call back from a supervisor. Delivery was required today. Now I am being told that the delivery will be before 1:30 pm Monday 8/3. This is unacceptable and is causing major issues with acustomer of mine. THE DRIVER NEVER MADE AN ATTEMPT TO DELIVER AND FEDEX JUST DOESN'T CARE. read more

This place is the absolute worst. I didn't really read the reviews because I have been going to this place for years, shipping packages for both business and personal reasons. The service was a little gruff. But at least the people were good and professional. I shipped an overnight package for business purposes on Thursday, August 14. Tracking indicates that it never left the Elmsford facility. This worker named "Mustafa" told me I wasn't comprehending the tracking information. When in fact, the manager was able to discern that the package is located in Newark. This location seems to hire seriously uneducated, unprofessional, unkempt individuals. The good professionalism has gone down over the last 10 years. Stay away from this place. And to the manager Kandice Hemmit: either learn how to manage this location better or maybe find a new line of work read more

FedEx Ship Center - This is your FedEx. No gloves, and doesn't know how to wear a mask. Oh and he's not very bright either. - Shipping Centers Near Me - Elmsford, New York

It stinks that we can't choose who delivers our packages. Lately I've been having a lot of trouble with FedEx. Today case in point. They sent a picture of my package being delivered. But it's not even my house. I don't even know where that is. And when you call, all you get is automated. They don't even let you speak to anyone. It would be nice to track down where it was actually left read more

Because I cannot get a hold of a live person. I cannot get to the front door.. there is no way I can be stationed by the door for an extended time, and by the time they knock or ring the doorbell it could take possibly 10 minutes... they will leave a tag and be gone. I cannot drive to the FEDEX location. They will do this day in and day out.. I need to speak to a Customer Service Rep. So i can work this out. The phone AI is horrible.. You lay off so many people.. I just don't understand how companies run today... without serving the customer needs... read more

Was given three different dates and all 3 were not delivered. I waited all day for them to come and no one showed up.

My FedEx account gives explicit delivery instructions ("leave at front door"), but they frequently leave packages elsewhere.

The level of incompetent, dishonest stupidity from these people is beyond reproach. The UPS on Brush avenue in The Bronx gives these people a run for their money, and that's a kind assessment of the clusterfack of a delivery operation that these people claim to run. 4 days with a package and now they're simply lying about its delivery time frame, with no actual truthful information as to what is going Ridiculous!! read more

GARBAGE!! I thought USPS was the worst nope FEDEX is! When you track delivery they give you a time with a window and you wait and wait and they never come @ the time they tell you then they change the delivery hour to package being delivered @ end of day. Why even give me a time if you're not delivering @ said time. The fedex customer service is horrible you can never get through to a live person. Why does FedEx exist? I've had nothing but bad experiences with FedEx with every single delivery. If I can put zero stars I would. read more

FedEx Ship Center - Door tags - Shipping Centers Near Me - Elmsford, New York

Garbage delivery service. ALWAYS says delivery attempted but never actually comes. I get my mail, I get my UPS packages, I get my Amazon packages but FedEx? NEVER. I ALWAYS have to go pick it up. They say delivery was attempted yet there's no tags on my door. Every time I have a package coming they leave a huge window of possibly delivery times so what do I do? I sit outside the ENTIRE day and they NEVER come. It's been years of the same issue and I'm tired of having to take time out of my day to drive 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back. What's the point of paying for shipping if I can never trust that it will be delivered? How is it possible that when I have several packages from different carriers scheduled for delivery on the SAME day, I get every single one EXCEPT from FedEx ? read more

There is a serious lack of integrity at the Elmsford, NY FedEx location. Our packages are regularly listed as either attempt delivery, but business was closed, or correcting address for redelivery. This often happens two or even three days in a row. Aside from the inconvenience of the delayed delivery, we have paid staff to stay late awaiting packages that never arrive. We have cameras in our entry and on the street in front of our building that prove that no FedEx vehicles attempted delivery, additional confirmation of these fraudulent claims are that there are no notices left on the door relating to the attempted delivery. Based on my experience with this location, it appears they work when they want to, and just make up excuses for their driver just skipping some addresses. Due to the experience with this one location, we rarely use FedEx for shipping things and tell vendors shipping to us to use other providers when we can. It is deplorable that this one location can so drastically tarnish a brand that may otherwise be good. I seek to change this locations behavior and will seek other platforms to try to solicit this change. read more

I've been waiting a week for a replacement debit card because this FedEx just can't figure things out. I fly out tomorrow and have no access to my money. The bank paid them $30 for overnight service a week ago and if they'd just sent it with a stamp in regular first class mail I would have had it a long time ago. FedEx, on the other hand, lost it and never left a door tag or even attempted delivery. The bank sent another overnight on Monday to be delivered by noon on Tuesday. Again I waited all day to get a notification that it was delayed in Newark. Wednesday I've been waiting all day again only to get the tracking change to "delayed." There's been no attempt. My building has a fancy intercom with a camera and delivery access codes. No door tag, no attempt to deliver, no notification in the app, nothing. I called FedEx and the first person said it was ready to pickup at a walgreens 2 blocks away, so I go there. It isn't there. FedEx hasn't been there yet today. Calling fedex on the way back they say it's in Elmsford at this ship center and want me to take a bus to get the package. So I go back up to the apartment and get my stuff to go get the next bus, but on the way out find there's now a door tag saying the debit card's being held at walgreens (again, no attempt to use the intercom system or delivery code) So I go to walgreens again and find that FedEx has delivered there, but not my debit card. Calling FedEx again they now have no idea if the debit card will ever be delivered to walgreens today or tomorrow or if it's still in Elmsford and they forgot to put it on the truck. I'm going to have to call the bank and have them cancel the card and ship a third one to the hotel and specify that under no circumstances should they use FedEx. I've used fed ex to ship on eBay for years and now I understand why they're cheaper than USPS: branches like this one. I'm changing all of my shipping policies to USPS or UPS. I apologize to everyone who's had to deal with fedEx because I used them as a shipper. read more

They make a 10:30am delivery on time maybe one out of seven times. Poor phone service to find out what's happened to your delivery. Overall this is a company that fails to do what you pay for. Yet another package not delivered as promised. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday. It requires a signature, so waiting at home all day for something that never comes. Hard to tell if Fedex in Elmsford is the mastermind behind stealing a very expensive perfume I ordered, TWICE. Hoping NM opens an investigation into what has happened and whether it's their warehouse or FedEx that someone is being help accountable and gets charged with theft. New employees beware. Makayla Brown is the manager I had orientation with whom was responsible for telling me my watches was not going to be a problem when it came to coming to work. Two weeks later December 26, 2020 I was told about a policy of no smart watches, that policy did not exist it was not communicated to me In any way since day one, not in my hand book not by any manager. I received a text message that I was on paid suspension and someone would contact me, they never contacted me. Next message from them was sending me a schedule and that was it. They never tried to contact me or resolve the situation by denying me access to the building for wearing my heart monitor watches. They can say I did my work and can tell you I was a model employee and hard worker. FedEx ground likes to change policies and make up rules as they go. They got upset and fired me because I spoke up for my self and spoke up against a policy that they tried to enforce that didn't exist. At FedEx ground, I was only employed for two weeks and got treated completely horribly. I was given the OK to wear my heart monitor watches. got fired because I would not take them off and I was denied access inside the building. I was at the 300 ground FedEx location. Terrible service. The package was received at 5:44 am . 3 minutes later the package was listed as attempted delivery business closed. It's a private house . Package was in Elmsford NY . Today the package was delivered to West Harrison NY . 15 minutes from my home. If you tried to deliver it you should have had the correct address. Customer service is a " I'm a sorry service " They were taught well how to type I'm Sorry. Then they tell me the package had a different address than what I told them . I asked for a copy they refused. I could have went to retrieve my package. Damn thing cost over $200 . Own up you made a mistake. read more

I just wanted to express the lack of professionalism at your 404 Fieldcrest Facility In Elmsford. This facility should be an embarrassment to the Fed Ex brand. From how they answer the phone to their in person service is at this location. I hope someone really looks into replacing their entire team there, with the exception of one person by the name of Linda. One wouldn't even believe my story with the number of unprofessionalism incidents at this location. From the delivery person claiming he/she attempted to deliver my package, which they never did, phone representative with the biggest nastiest attitude, (Annetta) like you inconvenienced her, to the managers hiding behind closed doors pretending to be busy to talk to a customer (Mark OS' .ALD) to just avoid issues. (Which are really in the back just joking around). Just shows the lack of customer service this facility has. My experience was so horrible, that I hope that any company I ordered with in the future, will never use Fed Ex and use any other shipping company! read more

Since all the other reviews of this place are terrible I suspect that this one will do nothing except make me feel better, but that's okay so here we go. The "Delivery Manager" feature that they claim lets you customize delivery is the most useless waste of time and energy. Why do you even offer it as a service. It is completely ignored. I had a box of wine that was supposed to be delivered while I was out of town - someone over 21 needed to be there, and no one was available, so I got a notification that delivery was attempted but could not be delivered. Totally understandable and expected! That's precisely why I clicked on the "customize delivery with FedEx delivery manager!" link and signed up. Turns out, there was an option for it to be delivered to the Duane Reed down the street from me. Perfect! Let's do that. The next day: delivery attempted, package undeliverable. Uh, okay. Maybe they don't want to sign for alcohol. Let's choose the other option: vacation hold. Great! They will hold it for me until I'm back. The day after that: delivery attempted, package undeliverable. I explicitly gave them 2 viable options using the services they offer and and both of my requests were plainly ignored. I was excited when, 2 days later, I got an email saying it had been delivered to Duane Reed after all! Hooray! Except it wasn't. They did not have my package. Yes, the tracking info said it was delivered. When I called, they said "oh yeah, it was delivered, it was "delivered" back to the shipper." THAT'S NOT WHAT "DELIVERED" MEANS. If the tracking info had said "RETURNED TO SHIPPER" I wouldn't have run around like an idiot bothering confused and busy Duane Reed employees for a nonexistent package. Don't offer services you can't follow through on. Very irritating experience. read more

If I could give -5 stars I would. I have been waiting now for 3 days for a package with no luck. We live in an apartment a floor above a store and a restaurant and even though I gave them explicit information as to find our apartment and the fact my wife and I have juggled our schedules around so that we are home, we still keep getting the answer "No one was there to sign for the package". FedEx Ground is becoming a joke in this area;the drivers know where nothing is, are known to leave packages in open vestibules and so on. And, based on the overall score they will not be surprised by this review, either, but they don't seem to care. FedEx has outsourced this type of delivery service to obviously the bottom feeders of the industry. Save yourself the hassle...spend the extra money and use anything else. The only thing good were the customer service people...they were professionals at apologizing for the ineptitude of the drivers...but, if I had as much practice as they obviously have, I, too, would be a virtuoso in the art of the apology. read more

For the most part, I have gotten my packages in a timely manner. The staff isn't too friendly but at least I get my stuff.

Not very helpful, I had to ship something from work, 1 person in front of me, asked what size box would work, he suggested a box that was twice as big, I asked about packing, he told me I could purchase bubble wrap for additional money. I probably wouldn't need the wrap, if suggested a proper sized box. read more

Thank you for leaving my package in pouring rain. I appreciate it. Sometimes it's just so hard to walk a few extra steps to put it under the front door roof. -- original review --- Very upset with FedEx. First claimed that they have delivered the package 2 days ago, then corrected themselves saying, "oh, it's still in custom" (how can you deliver something that was still in custom = "= ). Then today, it stated that they were unable to deliver the package, because no one was home. OUR WHOLE FAMILY WAS HOME TODAY! No one rang the doorbell. It claimed that they left a note, THERE IS NO NOTE ANYWHERE!!! We checked the front door, side door, mailbox......what note? This is not the first time. There's always some kind of unpleasant situation when the packages were mailed via FedEx (I.e. Missing, late delivery, box wrecked......) read more

Literally the worst delivery service in the universe. The driver stops in front of the house for 10 seconds, never gets out of the truck, and leaves. I run outside and he drives away. Been waiting on a delivery for days. Sitting either outside or in the front room staring at every car that passes by. Seen USPS, UPS, Amazon multiple times. Sometimes twice on the same day. Seen Fedex deliver to my neighbors but they just toss and run before I can go out to talk.. Then like clockwork before 5p I get a message saying can't deliver because not home or business closed.. I HAVE SEEN NO DELIVERY MAN COME TO MY DOOR OR KNOCK OR EVEN DRIVE UP!! THERE HAS BEEN NO DOOR TAG LEFT AT MY DOOR!! Was able to get a 4th attempt by speaking to the warehouse in ELMSFORD, NY directly and they know I will definitely be home waiting, BUT it happens again for the same package. The driver is either new, lost, lazy or a liar because I have gotten packages from the same company before. And if there was a problem with delivery from this driver, I hope they didn't give me the same driver because I know there are at least 2 in my area. The warehouse in Elmsford suggest going the 50 miles and over an hr roundtrip to go pick it up in person. Why? Because the driver is incompetent? What was the point of paying for shipping?.. Not only that but the previous packages were just left on my door, one damaged by the wet surface, though it clearly states signature required. Wish the drivers would have to take a picture of their attempts to verify their actions and so residents can verify they are at the wrong address. Or like when you order food, you can track the vehicle as it goes to your home. NEXT STEP TALK TO SUPERVISOR, MAYBE LAUNCH A FORMAL COMPLAINT ABOUT THE DRIVER!! So frustrating!!! read more
