My dad's clocks stopped working over the past 2 years and he is now 81 so didn't have the capacity to fix or find help. I found Franklin Clock Shop and it was just what we needed. The gem of the town. I don't think I have ever had a positive experience at a record store like…read moreI've experienced at Marquee Records. I was almost instantly given the warmest welcome by their three volunteers, Mark, Scott, and Tom. My first interaction was with Mark who gave me a separate tour of the Theatre and provided the inside scoop into the history of the building, how it was built in the 18000s and saved so that it wouldn't be torn town. I admired the building, and how they keep it preserved. The moldings on the wall were beautiful, the tiling, and the architectural design of the theatre was preserved for 300 years and is still running. I was also given a small peek into the old projector room that they don't use anymore. I didn't know this until now but this theatre is a favorite of my grandparents. I was also a fan of the DVD donation collection that they had in the shop. It's huge! They have plenty of genres for all ages and that's when I had a fun conversation with Tom about movies, and famous actors. If you take the time to stop and talk to them, they are pretty great. I found the movie I was looking for which is pretty cool seeing as the chances were slim but I was happy and purchased a few extras. Each DVD is around $2 but I don't know how much the records are. Scott is also really kind and personable as well and will answer any and all questions you have about music, the difference they make for the theatre, and where you can find them on social media. If you ever find yourself in Tarrytown and you're looking for a place to find good music and a really cool movie collection coming here is the best choice. That's the same if you would like to meet some really cool people who care a lot about the theatre and it's history. So please come browse, chill, donate, or even volunteer. You'll be glad you did.

These are not pristine records, they're donations. Either its' $2 unless marked' (as posted everywhere), or its '$2 unless marked, or possibly more when you bring a record up and the guy randomly decides he wants to charge more.' If it's the latter, the signs need to change.

They will connect you with a variety of Food Banks, Food Pantries, Soup Kitchens, and a Mobile Food Pantry. With cold weather and an uncertain political landscape rapidly approaching, please utilize the services of Feeding Westchester ahead of finding yourself in an actual "food emergency". If you are in such a position, please consider donating some funds to feed a hungry neighbor, donating some food for feeding seniors and children, or offering your time to volunteer, please do so. The food is healthy, it is free, and it is plentiful. Feeding Westchester is a phenomenal organization; they will steward us through whatever difficulties life should throw at us. During what has been an incredibly stressful and overwhelming time for our family, we were welcomed into a place that felt warm, supportive, and truly comforting. From the moment we arrived, the staff and volunteers went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness, compassion, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed--they created an environment where we could focus on what mattered most, knowing that everything else was taken care of. The house itself was beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully organized. Every space--from the kitchen to the common areas to the private rooms--was designed to provide comfort and a sense of normalcy. The meals, amenities, and little touches throughout the house made a huge difference in our daily lives. What stood out most was the friendliness and compassion of the entire staff. Phil, Jitka, Barbara, Tara, Brylee, Ana, Katheryn, Krista, Ashlyn, Karen- we love you all. Ethan celebrated his 21st birthday at the house. The staff was thoughtful and gracious enough to get him a card and gift. We sincerely appreciate your kindness. We are deeply grateful for everything the Ronald McDonald House provided us--comfort, care, and a true home away from home. It is an incredible organization that makes a meaningful impact on families when they need it most. We will never forget our experience and cannot thank you enough.

What an amazing place for families that need their services…read more I remember growing up and seeing the donation house at several McDonald's locations. To be honest, sometimes you just don't know if your donations will go to the organization unless it is on a big platform. However, I was able to see that this place has provided accommodations, supplies and meals to my sister so she can stay close to the hospital to care for her newborn. I can donate to this wonderful organization cheerfully because I have witnessed what they do for countless families. Everything they need is provided for them at no cost which is simply amazing.

This place has a lot of clothes so come prepared to look through a lot, but they have a very good array of coats and jacket, denim pants, skirts, button down, shirts, sweaters, and then they have a smaller area with like furniture and home goods. For instance, I saw a medium-sized print of a painting for $99 with a completely broken glass frame. Very disappointing. Also, it's a big store, and could use some additional organization. For instance, the toys are just put on top of the clothing racks and are not categorized by type--stuffed animals are mixed in with helmets. I don't see how any young kid can select their next favorite toy without having to ask an adult for assistance. Even I struggled to find toys for my nephew, who is expecting with his wife, as I'm 5'3" tall and had to go on full relevé to see with the options were. But, the staff was nice--that was a plus.

Notice no clothing or footware and the staff who are made up of volunteers who do a super job having all the goods organized and displayed in plain view . I picked up some table ashtrays , two corner chairs and a bunch of little novelty items that will go great on my dresser drawer stand . Actually I saw a blue door.... inside (@~_@~). Racks are neat, glass display cases hold costume jewelry and there's one fitting room about the size of a child's arm span. In addition to the thrift store part, there's also an indoor "flea market" in an adjoining room with "vendors" selling fabric and more knick-knacks.
