It has a vast majority of different items such as baby stuff and tools, which I found refreshing as most thrift stores do not have tools to buy. They have also new items that you could purchase as well. The owner seemed very nice and very informative on a lot of the products that they had. They have unique stuff too like sports cards, even a few of them with signatures, as well as make up devices and other really cool things. The prices were really not high at all they were About average to low for thrift store pricing. If you're in Mount kisco i'd recommend stopping here. They may not have a lot of items, but they have a lot of unique items that you love to purchase.

Every time I reached out, they couldn't remember what it looked like or find it. I submitted pictures. I was told by Pam on January 10th that the item was not yet set up for auction but she would be in touch. After multiple more emails in the past few months through yesterday, she told me that it was sold December for $40. I questioned her further with the discrepancies in the information she provided and her responses. I viewed the results of the auction of the date she provided, and my bench was not there. She advised in a latest email today saying "I may be thinking about another piece. I don't recall." I think I was totally ripped off. Do not do business with them buying or selling. This shop has been around 22 years with everything, including their stunning dress collection, from off the red carpet and LA film sets and it shows. The owner is a celebrity stylist who can give one look at you and know what dresses will fit you perfectly. I cannot wait to come back for an event and buy a dress. 5 stars!!!!

"After looking EVERYWHERE in my area for a stylish, yet appropriate mother-of-the-bride dress, I stumbled upon this lovely store online. After looking at all the lines they offer, I knew my dress was there! I immediately called for an appointment and made the 3 hour drive the very next day. I was greeted by Rafael and Suzanne who were amazing and very knowledgeable. I gave them my price cap and they were great about sticking to that. I tried on at least 12 dresses! More than any other store I had been to previously. I couldn't believe it.. after going to store after store and seeing the same old Mother of the Bride dresses and looking online at the major department stores, here I was looking at all these gorgeous dresses that I had never seen before. After I found THE dress, I wanted a particular color and neckline. They contacted the designer and got all the info I needed to seal the deal. Because of their expert measuring, all my dress needed was hemming. And the fee for alterations was very reasonable considering all the work the seamstress had to do. My daughter just got married and I felt so special in my dress. I could not be happier! Elephant's Trunk is now my go-to store for ANY future formal events I may have in the future. I wouldn't even bother going anywhere else. It's a 3 hour drive for me. Totally worth it. It is a MUST VISIT."

The owner said she will follow up on Monday. I go a call on Monday that the dress was NOT shipped yet from Italy. She asked me if I wanted to get an express shipping which I refused! I would recommend to stay away from this shop if you want to have a peace of mind!

Last week, I purchased a pair of Dolce and Gabbana heels for $100, on sale from $200. Three days later I wore the heels for the first time, to a wedding. After 40 minutes of standing and walking in the shoes, the heel separated entirely from the sole of the shoe. This morning I brought the heels to the shop and asked Zofia, the owner, for either a refund or store credit. I explained how the heels broke. She turned her back to me and strode over to the counter, picked up a sign that said "All sales are final" and held it up to my face for me to read. When I protested that she had sold me a defective product, she launched into a tirade, comparing her store to Neiman Marcus. I understand that Zofia's store policy is to protect her from people who change their mind about a purchase, or who try to return something after they wear it. However, an expensive consignment store should stand behind their merchandise, and should treat their customers with respect, or - at the very least - decency. I write this review not to air a grudge, but to warn future customers that they risk purchasing broken items at this shop, and that any attempt to return those items will be met with derision and scorn.

She is precise with her policy, both as a buyer and seller, and sticks to her guns (I personally like that, know what to expect). I brought in some items and she was thorough in her examination, turning away several items due to stains or because she felt her clientele would not go for it (even though it was a name brand, she explained that her clients were more reserved). I will definitely be going back regularly to check out her merchandise and will recommend friends to go as well.
