CONSIGNERS BEWARE!! I had a similar situation to Patty's…read moreexperience (previous review). I dropped off 3 bins of items on March 11th. Dina went on about how much she loved everything. I had more items but we decided to schedule a later date to drop off for the rest. Both Dina and Nicole seemed really nice and friendly. They told me I'd receive an emailed item list in a little bit. Several weeks went by and still no list so I called. I spoke with Nicole on 3/31 who told me that her mother-in-law (Dina) was supposed to have done it and will get her to do it "now". She also told me at that time that I had made over $100 and again, how much they "LOVED" everything. Weeks go by again and still no item list. Dina then calls on 4/27 to reschedule our next appointment to a later date. I say sure but I'm still waiting for my item list (everything is still amicable at this point). Dina then turns and starts getting hostile. She told me she sent the list already and to check my junk mail, to which I replied I have and it's not there so can you please send it again. She said she did already and fought me on just resending it. I also asked how much money I have in my account at this point thinking it should be more than the $100 I was told in March. She said it's $75. When I ask how that's possible she couldn't give me an answer and got even more angry with me. My response was this is horrible customer service, and again please send my item list. That night I get an email saying they no longer want to consign my items. I tell them I agree, now can you please send my item list. The emails went back and forth for days with them refusing to give my item list. I finally received it on May 2nd! They then tell me I need to pick up my items immediately or they will donate them. This place is a scam. I don't know what it's like to shop there but consigning with them is a NIGHTMARE!!

To whom it may concern,…read more I'm writing to express my deep shock and disappointment following an experience I had today at your Wilton location, where I have worked for over 11 years. This afternoon, I took a walk to enjoy the beautiful weather and stopped by your store wearing a dress and a jean jacket -- the jacket I walked in with. After making a quick loop through the store, I was on my way out when an associate abruptly stopped me and accused me of stealing the very jacket I entered with. I was appalled and humiliated. I have never in my adult life experienced such embarrassment, and I am still visibly shaken by the incident. Not only was the accusation entirely unfounded, but the manner in which it was handled was deeply disrespectful and completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be made to feel like a suspect, especially without cause. This experience has left a lasting impression, and I hope you take immediate steps to address this incident and ensure it does not happen to anyone else.

After taking numerous photos and confirming that ReStore…read moredid want an entire kitchen worth of cabinets, having my contractor carefully remove the cabinets and storing them dry and clean in my garage, ReStore refused to take them. ReStore then called me back the next day to say they WOULD take them. By then I had spent $1,000 to have my contractor come back, rent a dumpster, and start dismantling them. If ReStore had told me from the beginning they would not take them, we could have used the dumpster already at the site. As it was, I stored the cabinets for a month waiting for ReStore, and the initial construction dumpster had been removed.

Last week, I purchased a pair of Dolce and Gabbana heels for $100, on sale from $200. Three days later I wore the heels for the first time, to a wedding. After 40 minutes of standing and walking in the shoes, the heel separated entirely from the sole of the shoe. This morning I brought the heels to the shop and asked Zofia, the owner, for either a refund or store credit. I explained how the heels broke. She turned her back to me and strode over to the counter, picked up a sign that said "All sales are final" and held it up to my face for me to read. When I protested that she had sold me a defective product, she launched into a tirade, comparing her store to Neiman Marcus. I understand that Zofia's store policy is to protect her from people who change their mind about a purchase, or who try to return something after they wear it. However, an expensive consignment store should stand behind their merchandise, and should treat their customers with respect, or - at the very least - decency. I write this review not to air a grudge, but to warn future customers that they risk purchasing broken items at this shop, and that any attempt to return those items will be met with derision and scorn.

Small shop in this very charming and small village, love their carefully chosen quality selections…read more The owner is a lovely Polish lady who, if misinterpreted, will come off as being a bit reserved and cold, but we began to exchange some conversations and I found her to be very sweet and informative (it might help that I currently live in an area that has a large Polish population and have come to understand their cultural ways). She is precise with her policy, both as a buyer and seller, and sticks to her guns (I personally like that, know what to expect). I brought in some items and she was thorough in her examination, turning away several items due to stains or because she felt her clientele would not go for it (even though it was a name brand, she explained that her clients were more reserved). I will definitely be going back regularly to check out her merchandise and will recommend friends to go as well.
