To whom it may concern, I'm writing to express my deep shock and disappointment following an experience I had today at your Wilton location, where I have worked for over 11 years. This afternoon, I took a walk to enjoy the beautiful weather and stopped by your store wearing a dress and a jean jacket -- the jacket I walked in with. After making a quick loop through the store, I was on my way out when an associate abruptly stopped me and accused me of stealing the very jacket I entered with. I was appalled and humiliated. I have never in my adult life experienced such embarrassment, and I am still visibly shaken by the incident. Not only was the accusation entirely unfounded, but the manner in which it was handled was deeply disrespectful and completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be made to feel like a suspect, especially without cause. This experience has left a lasting impression, and I hope you take immediate steps to address this incident and ensure it does not happen to anyone else. read more

Cute little shop I planned to include on my thrift store rounds. One of those places you can easily find treasures at good prices. When I stopped in long after the mask mandate was lifted, I discovered this store still required them but didn't have any for you to put on. What these places don't realize is discretionary spending is just that - discretionary. I'm not going to jump thru hoops to give you my money. This type of shortsightedness is only going to hurt businesses in the future. Most people won't even have discretionary funds to even go out. read more

This consignment shop has been around for years. It has grown in popularity and has quite a following. I struggle with consigning because I find the volunteers overprice my items and they don't sell. Tucked away beneath the Village Market in Wilton, this shop is not to be missed! Clothing and accessories for women, men and children, as well as everyday housewares, quality crystal, china and artwork coexist with furniture, linens and jewelry! Items may be consigned or donated, but the prices are reasonable and many bargains are to be had. Cheerful staff are frequently there making sure the merchandise is well organized/merchandised, and changing out the themed window displays. I have seen Orrefors crystal and Tiffany vases, Limoges China and Pottery Barn bedding, Prada shoes and Brooks Brothers shirts, Eileen Fisher and J. Mclaughlin dresses and separates, as well as many well known quality shoes and handbags. Wedding and prom gowns are featured as of this writing, but the stock follows the seasons and holidays. Plan to spend some time here if you are clothes shopping, as the racks are bursting. The volunteer staff here is extremely knowledgeable and if you purchase a high end purse or item of jewelry, you can be sure of its authenticity. All the profits and unsold merchandise from the shop go to local charities, so shop knowing your money is going to a worthwhile cause. Credit cards are accepted! read more

Be careful of what you consign. I went back to the shop after the one month consignment date to pick up my items. Several were missing so I thought they had been sold but when I checked the consignment list of sold items, only one of my items was on the list. I'm pretty sure the other items were probably stolen. I won't be consigning there again. read more

This shop used to be a fabulous resource for those wishing to consign. For me, that is no longer the case. I have had many of my items disappear without any accountability. Unfortunately I can no longer consign here. It used to be more of a collaborative effort and I realize during the pandemic that things have changed but it's unacceptable that so many of my items have disappeared from the store and no one knows where they are and I certainly have not made any money from the sales. They are really slow and a little rude. Takes them forever to check people out. Not even in the 20th century yet let alone 21st.

All the ladies are so friendly, and I can shop for all the brands I love in one place without having to go store to store! I love the treasures that I find there and love the friendly atmosphere! I have gotten to know many of the consignors and I love the fact that they have new merchandise coming in daily. I never know what I'll find that I just can't live without! read more

IF you consign there, beware! I had more of my items stolen than sold. I wanted to notify the police, but was told, "this happens all the time." So, unless you want your clothes and items stolen, you might give them to a good charity or find a reputable consignment shop. While waiting, I was told by a fellow consignor that one volunteer was wearing her missing jewelry... Find another reputable shop! read more

Hidden in the heart of Wilton, at a back lower parking lot off Old Ridgefield Rd. this thrift shop has it all. They house a large men's and women's section, and where they shine is a tucked away, well stocked kids section, the best I've seen outside a retail chain thrift store. I found several mid-luxury items and trendy kids items at great prices. Even better, they price anything there over a month and a day in stock, 50% off. And on the third Monday of the month, those items are 75% off, more incentive to go green and support the community. read more

Every time I attempt to consign, I'm turned away because {they have too many people who came that day and they're backed up, the schools are delayed, I arrived five minutes too late}. I get that it's staffed by volunteers but the point is to take in merchandise and sell stuff to help people in the community in need. If you turn me away to consign, I'm going to take my merchandise elsewhere -- and purchase elsewhere too. read more

This little shop is considered the best kept secret in the area, and one of the best consignment/thrift shops around. The merchandise is great, sorted carefully for best quality and priced to sell reasonably. The higher end merchandise is very carefully reviewed for quality and authenticity, and you can be sure that the very knowledgeable staff has researched all of these pieces. I see the one negative comment from AG about arriving late for consigning--the shop has a very large client base for consignments, and if you don't arrive on time on a Tuesday or Thursday morning you definitely won't be taken. Arrive early. You can also make a private appointment if you have furniture or higher end things, but there is apparently a waiting list for appointments that they try to get through very quickly. All in all, a great place to shop, one of my favorites,--and also for a great cause--the volunteer run shop has donated more than a million dollars over the years to visiting nurse and hospice, local schools, and many other charities. So go visit! You'll be as addicted as I am and most of my friends! read more
