All that aside, Twin Jewelers is our new favorite jewelry store, forsaking all others. The tale: I lost my wedding ring on a trip a month ago, and was unhappy about that. My wife and I went to Pleasantville to see a film last Saturday, and she suggested we stop in to Twin. We were greeted warmly, with none of the professional "warmth" that wouldn't save a mouse from hypothermia. It's a family-run operation, and that was a delightful addition. We got friendly service from Lexie (or Alexis), good advice from the sisterhood behind the counter, and I was guided to a ring that was exactly what I had in mind. Quickly, and without any upsell, and even acknowledging that the price wasn't going to be what it was in 2022, I had no terror when the number was told to me. I wasn't pressured to pay in full and was told the ring -- with free engraving inside -- would be ready in one to two weeks. Thursday I got a vocemail that it was ready, and visited Twin a day later. Not all of the same family was at work, and there were customers in attendance, but I was treated with warmth once again; the ring fits well and is bright and shiny. A splendid experience! Thank you, Twin Jewelers! (P.S. The voicemail transcription said it was coming from "Twinkle Waters," which I think would also be a nice name for this business. May they prosper!)
