Im convinced that you don't even need a high school education or know basic literacy to be a driver for fedex because they misdelivered my package and dropped it off nowhere NEAR my house. It was also the day of the super bowl so I guess the driver who dropped it off at the wrong house wanted to get off work early to get ready for the game. Reported it, no humans to talk to. Ai even connected me to the europe branch and directed me back to this trash one. An endless loop. Complained to BBB and had to get a replacement item from the seller. This isn't the first time I had a screw up with failex with my address. The drivers just don't want to drive to the condo complex. Will never use them for shipping or receiving again. Had much less issues with ups, usps and amazon. Update: to show how much they really don't give a crap, the individual who received my package contacted me and delivered it to me himself personally. This FedEx location refused to accept a Walmart return that was exactly how Walmart told us to bring it to them (unwrapped, with a QR code, nothing else.) I was laid up after shoulder surgery so my husband was doing it. He was very upset that he drove all the way over there only to get turned away. He said that was it. He wasn't wasting any more of his time retuning anything for me, I'm even more upset now because I was cleared to drive again but when I shipped off the return, it arrived late to Walmart and they're saying they won't refund my money. I'm writing to them and I'll plead my case but things like this shouldn't happen. You should all be on the same page. read more

Middle of the Road Delivery Large box containing bag of dog food was left IN THE ROAD (per photos from Chewy). Delivery was at 6:03 p.m. according to FedEx, which would put drop-off after dark. This was on Rte 7, a major north-south way through western Conne ticut. It is rural, with no street lights. There had just been the snowstorm of the century, so driving conditions as well as visibility were poor. The box was hit and the bag ripped open. Chewy apologized profusely for doing absolutely nothing wrong, and will replace the food. FedEx couldn't have cared less. read more

I had a home delivery re-routed to the Danbury hub on Backus Road. The idiot FedEx driver checked my package in at 3:49pm, and then sent it back to the shipper at 4:10pm. That was 21 minutes of customer hold, not the customary 1 week. This is the second problem I have had with rediect delivery to a Danbury CT FedEx location. Last month I picked up a FedEx package from the Walgreens on Federal Road near Stew Leonards, and the staff there was beyond unprofessional and made racist comments about me within my earshot. Hmm. Says I am in CA. I am NOT. I am in Danbury CT! So, so, discouraging. Another large box, clearly marked on all sides as fragile, was dumped on top of unobserved mailboxes. FedEx repeatedly leaves boxes of any size or weight across the tops of the mailboxes there, - rain, shine or snow - something my neighbors do NOT appreciate. I am handicapped, so cannot pick them up myself from the mailbox down at the end of a long, very steep, hill; moreover, my husband is out of town for days at a time and can't get them. FedEx used to at least deliver them to the house, but even then they [literally!] threw them to the very end of the deck. I understand that, when mailing from FedEx, people think they are so very "polite and helpful", but of course they are taking your money then, and you have no real idea how they are treating your packages so carelessly at the other end on delivery. Getting a box is way, way different experience, for sure! It's annoying that the USPS uses FedEx as a delivery partner for packages, because that brings my trust of ground mailing way low. I choose UPS or even Amazon. Not that FedEx gives two hoots. Hopefully companies using FedEx will weigh any $ saved by shipping with them against how much $$ they continually lose in purchases due to crap service. read more

The Danbury FedEx is horrible. They are constantly delivering our packages to the wrong house. They usually go to the wrong house with the same number on the adjoining street so we end up dropping off the misdelivered packages to each other. One time I had a business order of like 20 large boxes that were delivered to the wrong house and the poor guy that lived at the wrong house had to make multiple trips with these heavy ass boxes just to get them all to us. Today they lost 2 of our packages and their customer service line was literally no help at all. One time they delivered a package to the house of an address that I was unfamiliar with. I called them several times to come and pick up the package and each time they said that they would but they never did. They just suck all around. read more

Delivery person always leaves my packages in the rain. I have a front porch and he puts the package on the front stairs of that porch where there is no protection instead of leaving it where the overhang is which would protect it. I see him on my "Ring" door bell but by the time I can say anything its too late and he's already in his truck. Please instruct your drivers to leave packages where it is dry. I wish I could leave zero stars, because FedEx doesn't even deserve one. I don't know how this company stays in business. They lose ALL of my packages. And good luck trying to find a human to talk to when you call to report it. Even the automated system has an attitude and loops me around and around before hanging up on me. Whenever I see that a company has used FedEx to ship me something, I know I will never get it. They always end up having to send the order out a second time. I live in Brookfield and my house is a 400 feet from my mailbox which Is not visible from my house. Recently my Fedex deliveries have been left at the base of my mailbox and we do not even get a notification most times of a delivery and if we do,it will be after an hour at least. We're lucky if we happened to walk to the curb and find a package sitting by the mailbox. Today 4 packages were dropped off at the curb piled on top each other including an expensive Apple laptop. We received a notification about the laptop having been delivered 1 hour later. I have stopped ordering from businesses that have Fedex account. Is there a new policy at Fedex regarding delivery at the curb by the mailbox and not near or at the front door? read more

I went there last week to send a package back to the retailer I purchased an item from on line. The retailer had sent a return label in an email to me and said I could have them scan the label at that Fed Ex location. When I got there they couldn't scan it but had me email it to their computer as I stood there and then they printed it. The 2 men that helped me were as nice as could be ... so pleasant. Today I had to send a second package back to the same retailer. The man that waited on me was extremely unpleasant and made the whole experience so negative. He angrily told me that it was my responsibility to print the label on my own and they weren't there to do all that kind of paperwork for me. He was so rude that when he went in the back the customer behind me commented on his behavior. When I explained that I did the same procedure there last week without a problem he said I couldn't keep going there and expecting them to print up labels. The manufacture had given me those instructions so that was was I was following. Since I have never been to a fed ex center in the 5 years that I have lived in the area, I nicely explained to him that I am not a regular.
