Moving is such a ridiculously stressful pain in the...ah...neck, but after my first phone call with Tom Gleason, I knew I chose the right company. I was all over the place with the dates I needed for drop off, for moving... but Tom worked with me and even threw in some humor that helped me maintain sanity throughout the process. He didn't run from my craziness, he accommodated my craziness. I'd like to think he may have actually even liked my craziness. Maybe that's too presumptuous of me. Anyway, we need more Toms around. The 20' unit we rented was perfect. The driveway drop off locations were perfect. I spoke with 2 of the drivers on the phone and met one for the final pickup just now (at 7:15am. Nice! When Tom says he'll have it picked up first thing ... he ain't kiddin!). Everyone I spoke with or met is super nice & friendly. Makes a difference when you're having to deal with all the stresses of moving. Oh. The pod itself! Probably shouldn't leave that out of the review. The pod was great too. Tons of rain (I'm talkin torrential downpours) while we had it and not a drop inside the thing. Use this company. Excellent customer service, great product & reasonable prices. A trifecta. Or a hat trick - if you're into hockey. ;)

Tick Ranger has stood by their guarantee time and time again while doing it in an extremely responsive way. Before we were getting the service we would find ticks in our yard or dogs daily. Now we are lucky to find one or two in between treatments, and if we do find them, they come right back out to make sure they treat the customer well. To some people it may seem a bit costly, but the safety of my family and dogs is in good hands with Tick Ranger. It is certainly well worth it. When service is requested, they are very timely in a response.

Why they don't treat weeds when they see them is beyond me. But you really get to know how good a company is when you have a problem, not when everything is going smoothly. Early spring last year I was getting concerned because they hadn't been out to put the crabgrass preventative treatment down and it was well into March. I called and they said they had plenty of time to apply the treatment. Fast forward two weeks and they put it down, way too late in my opinion and I was right. By mid summer my lawn look like a crabgrass farm. It was awful. They came out and essentially said they could treat it but it was too hot and it would burn out my grass as well. Not a great option. I then asked for that treatment I paid for and didn't work to be refunded. The manager was beligerent. Blamed me for not telling them earlier. When I asked to speak to the owner he flat out refused. Very immature and unprofessional. One of the worst customer experiences I have encountered. If I could give them a zero I would.
