I have never, ever been disappointed with their service. Both he and Judy are always courteous and are such a joy to deal with as opposed to the U.S.Post Office personnel. If John sees that I have several packages, he runs out and helps me carry them in. Now that is service!!! You're always greeted with a smile and a cheerful hello. Both he and Judy are always willing to help and suggest the best way to send things. I would never, ever think of going anywhere else.

Mailed two international packages second week of December. Postage was over $100. for each package…read more I brought them to the PO with prepaid labels already attached. There was nothing for the clerk to do except to scan them - a one moment task. Asked clerk to make sure that each package got scanned. Response was, "Of course I will." Well, both packages were never scanned. They now show on the usps site as - Not Shipped. Because of that I cannot put in an insurance claim for each lost package. Clerk at PO said - "Maybe you forgot to bring them here. Sorry we can't do anything else." That is right. I paid $100 for the postage for each box and then I just forgot to bring them in. I spoke personally to the Supervisor at this PO and his response, while he kept yawning, was "Sorry there is nothing I can do". My advice to everyone is to go to another PO. Christmas is now ruined for two grandchildren but who cares.

We were in the hood to visit a friend's nearby restaurant (Francos) and took the opportunity to look for a nice place to take a walk on the first sunny day in the last 7 The search said "fitness trail" at the Center, and we parked in a spacious and manicured parking lot next to an obviously well funded building - across from the Post Office and around the corner from the Police Station Below us were a soccer field, softball field, picnic tables, benches, bandstand and large playground...all sparsely populated on this gorgeous summer day. No sign of a trail anywhere... But we asked a gentleman who looked like he had been out for a hike "is there a trail?". So if you don't enter next to the police station around the corner, access to the trail is hidden behind some trees & shrubs at the rear of the park. Once on the greenway we saw what an effort had been made to clean up the river, build and maintain these terrific trails ! The trail splits to flank Route 7 on either side. We took the right...simply beautiful and an easy walk on a paved, undulating trail, traversing the river and several solid bridges. Nature abounds and benches offer even the laziest an opportunity to stroll and enjoy nature 's bounty. Kudos to Brookfield!

Constantly competing with the fictional town of "Stars Hollow", this Woodbury CT post office is a winner hands down, despite what "Taylor Doose" might think! The staff was nice and accommodating, there's plenty of parking, there's a drive by drop mailbox, a greeting card kiosk, well stocked mailing supplies, post offices boxes for rent, and it was super clean! So, Taylor, stop your bellyaching! This is a fine government establishment that serves its community well! Any minor hiccups in delivery service are promptly rectified and there's no better way to appease customers than with kind and humble service! They have all the regular postal services plus passport service which is a plus! Serving about 10,000 residents, the postmaster Jose Ancheril, does a good job! Woodbury gets my stamp of approval! (Sorry not sorry Taylor - and you'd agree with me if you ever saw the GG episode where Kirk tried to deliver the mail, created postal chaos, and the town was in an uproar!
