    Somerville, MA to Wilmington, MA. 7 days. 16 miles.

    I can't give zero stars. And I'm giving the extra (2nd) star because this Holiday season has been a nightmare. But FedEx really sucks sometimes. You can stop reading here. You probably know where this is headed. As of 2 days ago, I still didn't have my package (Tuesday, 1/4). It was dropped off at FedEx in Somerville, MA on Monday, December 20. It arrived in Wilmington, MA on Monday, Dec. 27. I realize that those 7 days include Christmas. But here's the deal if you aren't familiar with New England geography in the USA - Somerville, MA and Wilmington, MA are 16 miles apart. 7 days to travel 16 miles?!? It gets worse. Once my package finally made it to Tacoma, WA on Thursday, Dec. 30, I thought, 'Great, it'll get to Burlington, WA tomorrow, and delivered on Saturday. Or maybe Sunday. Monday (1/3) at the latest, right? No. It took 14 hours to move from Tacoma to Burlington (about 100 miles). It arrived at 3:16 PM on Friday, Dec. 31. And it's been sitting there ever since. Finally, it looks like my package made it onto a FedEx truck for delivery, after sitting in Burlington (12 miles away) for 5 days! FedExpress? Hardly. It's time to change your name. Maybe FedUp, to reflect the feeling of your customers?!?

    I live in a rural area and share my driveway with the neighbor. Other companies have been able to find my place for delivery. FedEx doesn't even make an effort. I've stopped ordering from companies that use them, or I will request to ship via some other method. The FedEx driver drops my packages at the street (650 ft from my house) where anyone driving by could steal them.

When she came to our house we went over all of the details, I gave her specific instructions and she agreed to all of it. Well when her 3 hrs we're up I noticed everything we discussed was not done.. she didn't label anything (even tho she said she would) she didn't come with any organization tools I.e. containers etc. She took items out of a few boxes and on the counter and put things away but the organization wasn't there, it wasn't neat and precise, some places she put things didn't make sense, she said she liked to work alone so she can focus on the tasks at hand, which I thought was great but she talked to my husband a lot...now we have to re-do what she did. We did not get the quality work a "professional organizer" should give and for the money we paid and the agreement we had, it def feels like we were punked or something. Very odd. Hire someone who has more experience and who is more professional and thorough. If you want someone who can help unpack then she would be good if you want someone to organize I do not recommend.

    I am writing this to share my experience and warn future customers about how this company handles…read moredamages and accountability. I hired A Perfect Mover to handle my move into a brand-new home. Three days before the move, brand-new carpeting was installed. During the move, their team caused visible damage to multiple carpeted areas, which I brought to their attention immediately. The owner, Shane acknowledged it and asked me to send carpet cleaning information so they could cover the cost. I scheduled a professional carpet cleaner and informed Shawn when they arrived. Only at that point--two months after the move was completed and fully paid for $10,824 ... ( we are a family of 4 ) Shane suddenly claimed I had a "past due balance" for junk removal labor. This was never mentioned during or after the move, nor on any invoice. It appears to have been brought up only when it came time to pay for the damage they caused. This is especially odd because I had already settled my bill with them totaling $10,824 ...so wouldn't that extra charge be brought up at the time of processing payment.???? Yeah... you'd think so. Despite this surprise accusation, I still attempted to be reasonable and offered to pay the carpet cleaner upfront while allowing him to reimburse the remaining balance (even factoring in the amount he claimed I "owed," which I dispute). Instead of resolving the matter professionally, Shane became defensive, accused me of "threatening a bad review," minimized the damage to my brand-new carpet, and refused to take responsibility. He then said everything would now be pushed through a "claims process," effectively declining to resolve it directly. To be clear: * The job was paid in full the day of the move. * No past due charges were ever mentioned until reimbursement for damages was requested. * The carpets were new and undamaged, and no effort was made by the company to repair or mitigate. * My review is not a threat--it is a reflection of how this company treats customers after being paid. I support small businesses, but integrity matters. A company that damages a customer's home and then invents retroactive charges to avoid accountability is not acting in good faith. I would strongly urge anyone considering this company to proceed with caution

    Book with caution. Response time was great but initial quote was grossly in accurate. They have an…read moreextensive quoting process that involves a video walk-through through your whole home. So we were shocked to find that there was not enough room for all our things on the truck as well as we had to hire for another day. They also didn't have the proper box needed to move our tv. The movers themselves were very courteous and respectful. Management and up that we spoke to were not as respectful. Extremely defensive and accusatory. Eventually, they did make efforts to "make things right". I would use great caution as their quote felt low to get our business and then ultimately we were stuck paying more than if we would've gone with another option. Even with them giving us deal on the extra day. Plus, these are just two of the items that are left in sub optimal condition after the move along with small scrapes to the walls at both the old and new house. *** we spoke with Ken from a perfect mover. And he very professionally took accountability for the misquote and adhesive left behind. Our interaction with him was very positive and if that would've been the type of interaction we had from the initial issues, our overall experience would've been significantly better.
